Be careful, and avoid using this wrecker service at all costs for your vehicle and personal safety.My RV was towed by Nathan's Body Shop on Thursday, November 16th, 2023. During the initial part of the tow, the driver negligently ran into a live power line with my RV on the top of the flatbed. When this occurred, the driver asked if I would try and remove the live power line from the RV, which I refused. The power line was caught in the awning, and caused damage to my RV.Unfortunately, Nathan's Body Shop did not pay to have the damage repaired on my RV, and claimed they were not responsible, leaving me with limited options. They have never returned my calls when requested, and I could never talk to the owner.Nathan's Body Shop & Wrecker Service was unprofessional in handling this situation, compromised the safety of their customer, and damaged the RV they were towing without correcting the situation.

Nathan took on the challenge of finishing a set of composite doors for my 2022 Bronco and did not disappoint. They were meticulously finished and color-matched as if they rolled off the factory floor. The shop was able to get me scheduled on their calendar, I dropped off the doors, and they made sure they got them done right as it was their first time working on these types of doors with carbon fiber inserts. You can't ask for anything more. Why did I chose Nathan's over other body shops in the area? First, after an accident in a Jeep, a towing company referred me to another shop and the repairs were a disaster - the Jeep should have been totaled. After consulting with Nathan and Rey on what would be needed to get these done and other positive referrals from folks in town, I knew I landed in capable hands. Best decision ever made. You won't regret choosing Nathan's Body Shop for any of your repair or other painting needs. Will definitely have future work done, just hopefully not due to an accident.Service: Body & Trim

We had an issue with our cat and Nathan s was outstanding. Josh was able to meet us and get our car to an Asheville dealership. Josh was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He explained the process and gave us great confidence that we were in good hands. In all the Nathan s team was very responsive and the type of company you want yo have when you have a vehicle break down situation. Highly recommendedService: Car towing

I Highly recommend Nathan's Body Shop & Wrecker Service, Inc! We were stranded on the side of the road and called after hours. They immediately responded with a game plan. Great communication. Friendly and trustworthy. Josh came and picked us up and drove us to our house. Above and beyond!!! Then went back and took care of my car. I was confident my car was in good hands. Again 5 stars - Highly Recommend!!

Five stars is the understatement Shane and truck number 13 with above and beyond to help me out in a bad situation I was broken down with a flat tire on beside of the highway I called Nathan towing the only half the competition price but the lady on the phone said half hour in 2 minutes Shane had called me and told me he was on his way he needed to get ready he be there in 20 minutes he was there in less than the time he told me he would be as soon as he pulled up he instantly turned my son's horrible time into the best time of his life my son is six by the way he made sure that my son got in the truck and what's safe in there got the car loaded up very fast and we're on our way never one time was enough super professional and super nice and went above and beyond the call of duty this day and age not many people care about others about others even after it was unloaded and he could go he makes sure the tire shop had me taking care of and still continue to interact with a good way with my son that will be the only towing company I ever use going for and I will be requesting him every time ask for Shane truck 13 your bad situation or turn better just like mine did thank you so much

I'm sure this business is great. My experience was that I needing a jump while I was at the hospital with a family member who had emergency surgery. My battery was dead. Called and they offered to come for $75. I can understand that if someone could pay that, it may be worth it. They were only a mile away from where I was. I was stressed out and found someone at the hospital to give me a jump. Got a new battery. Thank goodness. My only thoughts were that it seemed a bit expensive at $75 for a jump on the battery being a mile away. It's a business though. So just know...it's not cheap to get a jump! I gave 5 stars. The lady that answered was courteous. And happy to help. Would have come quickly seemed like. I just didn't want to pay that ...lol

My daughter was in a wreck Monday evening in Cullowhee. When the wrecker arrived from Nathans body shop the driver didn't even mention the price of the tow. Neither was price or storage fees mentioned the next day when my daughter showed up at the body shop to retrieve her belongings out of the car. When I called Wednesday about picking up the car the bill was $415 dollars for an eight mile tow and two days of storage fees. So on Wedensday I call and stated I will be at the Body shop to get the car. I show up at 100 PM and wait an entire hour for someone to get to the shop.In all my years in public Service I have never dealt with anyone this rude. The secretary took my money but answered thephone several times during the transaction. Finally after getting the reciept I explained that she needed to call Triple A to inform them payment had been given so they would release the car. She asked madly something like, What do you expect me to do we're a body shop? Then she tells me she doesn't have the number.She later apologized saying she was upset because her dog was sick. Ridgecrest towing finally came and got the car. The driver from Ridgecrest was very polite but the experience with Nathan's was horribleIn summary we paid $370 for an eight mile tow and a storage fee after my daughters car was their for a grand total of two and a half days. Beyond the price and the customer service and attitude was awful. I'm sorry but based on this experience I cannot recommend this business.

The fuel pump on my brand new Ram failed in traffic a couple of weeks ago. I called Nathan's wrecking service from the side of the road. It was at 9:00 at night yet they still had a truck to me in 30 minutes. The driver went out of his way to drop me off at my house before taking my truck to the garage. Great service. Thanks to Nathan's for making the best out of a miserable situation.Service: Car towing

We used Nathan & Family to recover our 45Ft DP RV from a roll over, he and his team comprised of his sons and close family friend demonstrated what has made this the greatest nation for enterprise development. They worked tirelessly for two days to recover our wreck from a deep ravine, they were exhausted and stayed two hours to assist us in vacating as much of our personal effect as we could from the totaled rig. At no time did they treat us like a mere job, in fact both my gal and I felt like we had just made new friends. We learned that we share similar interest and will soon get together to explore Nathans interest in aviation. If you want to use a trust worthy hard working family, this is the only wrecker service in NC that I would consider calling. Stay safe.

What I wonderful company. When I had my car towed last,Google popped up this company instead of James towing. I gave an honest review about James towing not Nathan's. The owner was very nice when he discovered my error. Nathan's is fixing the truck my sons wrecked. I will update. At this point, they have 5 stars for their customer service. My truck looks new again. Awesome job!

While the tow man didn't take forever to get to the tow site, it was all in all an experience I'd rather not have had. The young man charged a wapping 325$ to just pull my car out of the ditch. Literally all i needed was to be pulled out of a ditch!-BUT the man had hooked my vehicle up to his truck to pull it out and didnt want to unhook it until he was paid. I had 314$ in cash on me, i gave it all to him and told him i had the other 9$ at my house.. then when i asked him to just drop it at my home, which was on the way back to his shop, he proceeded to explain how he wasn't moving untill he got the money. Eventually the man agreed to tow my vehicle home. I sat for about 5 more mins waiting on him to signal he was ready to follow me. [Which btw my mom had come to help] When he finally was ready to pull out we weren't even going 10 miles an hour, and he had my money and car at this point and i honestly was nervous about it bc the man was acting very strange. I kept having to stop for him to catch up even at 10mph. Then we DID stop AGAIN bc he apparently didn't have it strapped well. Ok. I can deal. But THEN he still was doing 10mph the entire way to my house. It takes 11 mins to get from my house to where my car had slid into a ditch, and it took us almost an hour to get home, not including the time it took for the man to just unlach my vehicle. Very strange behavior, lack of experience in addition to the amount of time it took to just get my car home plus the fact that i wont get reinbursed my 325$ due to the company not accepting the AAA. I would not recommend Nathans tow service to anyone but MAYBE an enemy.!

We had our car break down in between Cherokee NC and Gatlinburg TN, we called Geico and they got in touch with Nathan s. They were a good ways away from us, but they got to us as fast as possible. William was very nice and professional. One of the nicest people me and my husband have ever met. We were comfortable and felt safe with him. We thanked him over and over for the great service and for being so kind.

FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! Nathan's Paint & Body continues to amaze me with there never ending customer service! Our first experience set the relationship for life. After my father purchased a new truck we shopped around for spray on bed liner. Not only was Nathan's substantially cheaper on price the attitude and care from the entire staff was amazing. The quality of the job was spectacular and the truck was finished on time as promised! The team at Nathan's are all highly trained and knowledgeable on any question we had and continue to have. From fixing my wife's damaged bumper to there under 30 minute response with there wrecker Nathan's constantly prove why there the best in the area! Even if your car happens to have a spare tire and jack they will still be there to help you in anyway possible! Our family couldn't imagine using another business!

I had a flat coming in headed to the Casino from Georgia. When I got here unfortunately they didn't have any tires. Lol But Jackie was so sweet to help me call around and find a tire. And the gentleman there looked at the tire to see of they could atleast plug it for me. The staff there was so wonderful in assisting me getting my car to a tire shop. I really appreciate it very much! Its already scary heading to 2 1/2 hrs to the casino by myself. So it was nice to get GREAT customer service! :)

Me and my friend came to Franklin during the snow and got stuck, long story short, our vehicle was towed my Nathan s body shop. We got in touch with him and he said he would meet us the next day. He wouldn t answer our calls, return our calls, nothing. We had to get in touch with state troopers in order to get him to respond. Very unprofessional and he was quite rude we he did finally meet us. I would not recommend him at all!!

Definitely not the place to go for friendly service.A friend had wrecked her car, and on rotation, Nathan's towed the vehicle.The next day, at the request of my friend, she asked if I could go by and get her home and work keys, and her mail out of the car.She also wanted me to take some pictures of the car so she could send to family out of town.The receptionist asked me to wait for Nathan to get back, to check If it was ok.When he returned, he told the receptionist, no, since I wasn't the owner, I couldn't get her belongings. I understand that.Then he said that I couldn't even get pictures of the car, because I wasn't the owner. That, I don't understand.He wouldn't even come and talk to me, so I could explain that the owner was too sore to get out, and come down herself.Like I said, just not the warm, friendly type of person I would do business with. I have an idea that If there was a problem, he definitely wouldn't be very congenial to deal with.

Poor customer service. I requested a U-haul from them through the U-haul website and it showed that their office would be open for a Saturday morning pick-up. I submitted the request on a Thursday morning but called them Friday to confirm a Saturday pick-up. Nathan informed me that they are not opened on Saturday and that the website was messed up. (Shouldn't my request have alerted you and you could have called?)He then lets me know that I can pick it up Friday before 4:30pm and drop it off by Monday morning and would only charge me a one day rental (which I requested). Great! When I go inside to pick it up, a lady is standing at the counter waiting for Nathan to finish giving her an estimate and he is the only one available to help so I patiently wait - no big deal. He sees me after awhile and asks if he can help me with something (without leaving his desk) and I told him I was here to pick-up the U-haul. He said I would have to wait until he got done with the lady in front of me (I'm not a rocket scientist, but I figured that one out). He checks me out for the U-haul and says that as long as I bring it back with half-tank (it's between 1/2 and 5/8) that we will be good. Again, great! Then things go downhill from there.I'm about 10-15 mins from his shop and I take the U-haul to my house so we can load it. We have had so much rain these past few weeks that I get the U-haul stuck and can't move it at all. So I call him to see if he could help. He says yes but it would cost me. Ok, maybe like $100, fine, I got it stuck. But he provides no estimate. He comes out and hooks the wench to the ball of the bumper of the U-haul and drags it across the width of the driveway. We have a shared driveway and the landlord had just put new gravel down with all that was going on. He drags it, tearing up the drive way, taking all of 10 mins probably from start to finish and charges me $200 for it! This same guy charged someone else about $90 to HAUL their car from ACROSS town but charges me $200 to move the backend across the driveway. (You gave me a deal on the U-haul but really screwed me on the tow; felt like you got your money's worth and then some from that.) And then when I go to pay for the tow with a debit card, he tells me he would have to charge 4% more since the card machine company charges 4%. (REALLY!!! They are claiming there is a coin shortage and please use a card but you are going to charge me for using it.) He allows me to square up on Monday with a check so I won't be charged for the 4% - well, thank you. He leaves and does not try to fix the driveway from his mess.When I get the final receipt emailed to me after I drop it off, there is a fuel charge for 5 gallons. I brought it in with 1/2 a tank. So instead of calling me, he charges me but I go to his shop again to ask what is going on and he is claiming that it is not 1/2 tank. The gauge has a broad line for their hash marks and the needle was ever so slightly not completely on the 1/2 tank hash but the bulk of it was and even the receipt said 1/2 tank. He didn't move it far from where I parked it but the fuel may have settled because it was 1/2 tank when I left it; besides, all that would probably be required, if anything, is maybe $2-$3 worth to bring it to where he wanted it but not 5 gallons worth. And when I called him on the paperwork even saying it was 1/2 tank, he said I would have to talk to U-haul, he couldn't do anything about it (you checked it in, dude)So when he tried to do me a solid with the U-haul, he butchered it with all this other stuff that just outweighed that part. I have gone to him about 3-4 times for things and have not received the best or even adequate service each time and this just did it for me. I will not recommend Nathan's Body Shop, his towing, or his U-haul service. Please go elsewhere.
