I had to get inspections done in a couple of vehicles. He was able to take care of it quickly.. very friendly.. Only thing I will say is.. no appointments needed, but don't get upset if they're closed for lunch .. lunch hours do vary

Update!!!Just had a full exhaust done on my Jeep.Couldn't be happier!!!Looks great, sounds great...Took it in at 9.00 am as told. Picked it up mid afternoon as promised..First time using this shop and they were excellent..Fair pricing, quality work and pleasant owners....I will definitely be back...Thanks for taking care of my jeep

Take all of my vehicles here for any an all my muffler shop needs. By far Best in the area. He is always super professional an friendly. Also do most of my vehicles State inspections there an it's always done in a timely manner.

I don't really understand all these positive reviews. I have been to this garage several times. Each time I was told there were no available appointments and needed to make an appointment a week in advance. Okay. Corrected problem that was supposed to make check engine light go off, did not. Another costly item would need to be addressed? Okay. Car was losing antifreeze, told radiator needed to be replaced, despite the fact that radiator was 4 years old. Okay. On next visit for another check engine fix, I was told antifreeze was most likely going into engine and I should not put anymore money into car. I understand Tony is always busy but he always made me feel like an inconvenience. I stood around quite a while, patiently waiting while he and the "boys" talked and just when I thought it was my turn, the phone would ring and there I stand again. I hate to think it's a "woman" thing, but it felt like my business just didn't matter that much and I always felt uncomfortable when I was there...pretty sure you don't want your customers to feel that way. Maybe I just don't have the right last name. Feel like I may have paid for unnecessary repairs when I trusted him.

I was in Franklin on an out of state trip when someone stole my catalytic converter. The locals recommended this place and I can see why! If you have the time to look for the best local place to take your vehicle, you'll end up here. The mechanic/owner worked hard to get my truck fixed quickly and get me back on the road for less cost than I could have hoped for anywhere else. He also worked directly with my insurance company and parts distributors despite how difficult they were. Although the OEM California compliant catalytic converter was back ordered and not available from any parts supplier for months, the owner acquired a "universal" catalytic converter and got me on the road again. His repairs worked wonderfully driving back across the country and for the following months until I finally got a California compliant OEM catalytic converter from Toyota installed.Service: Exhaust

Found both Tony and Drew to be honest and knowledgeable. They work well as a team. Their rates are comparable to other shops but they're diagnostics seem to be more accurate than others, so they don't waste a lot of time and money. Tony has no problem with bringing in your own parts, but obviously he won't warrant them. Best to make an appointment as they are very busy. Both have good dispositions and personalities, not like others in town who think they are doing you a favor working on your car.

I went to school and grew up with Andrew, Tony's brother. He is always smiling and has such a good heart. The two of them are brothers who both care very much about their customers and give honest reports about what's needed and not needed when it comes to fixing vehicles. Word of mouth spreads fast about the quality of their work as well as the professionalism of the repairs. They don't scam anyone and tap on extra bogus repairs that many other repair shops do. And their prices are highly reasonable and well balanced when compared to all other shops in Franklin. If you're seeking honest repairs and quality for a solid and honest price. Tony and and Andrew are your guys. How many auto repair guys can you say you trust and love at the same time? I always recomend Allen's auto Repair to anyone seeking quality and honest as well as affordable repairs. God is with these guys and you can sense their good nature every time you meet them. I've been a repeat customer for 4 years, and I always go to them over anyone else.

I've lived in Franklin about a year and several locals recommended this place for all things exhaust related. Based on that, and the positive Google reviews, I expected better. I was given an appointment 5 days in advance and arrived on time. I could see that everyone was busy so patiently waited for several minutes. I was then approached by Tony. He asked if he could help me. I said yes, I have an appointment today. With a frustrated look he immediately said he wasn't going to be able to help me anytime soon and that they were incredibly busy today. He did answer a few questions for me but offered no apology for not being able to fit me in for an appointment that he gave me. I understand that unexpected things come up, but he gave me no alternate time to return and seemed like he really didn't care if I came back or not. When a shop owner looks overwhelmed and frustrated because a customer arrives for a scheduled appointment, it might be time for them to reassess their business practices. I won't be returning.

A two man shop, single owner business.Tony and Eddy are always straight up about the work.They explain your options and follow up if any adjustments are needed.I have been going to them for 4 years with 3 different models of cars.I do recommend them, they are my go to mechanics.We are lucky to have them here in Franklin.

I was traveling to WV from GA and had trouble with my truck. I needed immediate help. I called an auto parts store and they said Allen's Auto Repair was close to my location. I entered the location on my gps and Eddie was there by himself. He analyzed the situation and got me back on the road that same afternoon. I was able to make it to my destination that evening. I did not get to meet Tony, but Eddie was extremely competent and treated me fair. Being helpless and vulnerable as I was, so many people would take advantage of someone in my situation. I was treated honest and fair. I wish there was a shop like this in my town! I highly recommend them!

We called because we had a light in in the truck. The guy said we could stop and they would run a diagnostic for us. We pulled up and someone helped us right away! He was friendly, professional, and efficient! Nice to know they are local and we can go back again!!

This place is great I walked in the door and ask the owner if he had a extension for my muffler and he did and was super fast too i will be back if needed and i will make sure i spread the word around he is great..Thank you so much for your help

I work for the school system in asheville nc our car broke down near there shop pushed it in there lot a couple days before christmas they had 5 other jobs ahead of mine and still got it fixed at a very reasonable price excellent service and quality and it was finished during christmas break before the kids got back ti school thank you
