Had to call another contractor to fix what I had paid Tom's for. New contractor showed me wires were loose in the breaker box.the breaker box was done "something " to by Tom's and when I inquired about what, they could not tell me. Then as I was cooking a week after moving in the new stove stopped. I called another electrician at 10 at night because I was scared. He showed me that 2 wires were barely connected which caused an arc. Very scary. My realtor was told to have Toms look at the box and make it safe to live there. My new electrician said if someone was paid to look at the box they should have checked all the wires. He showed me how loose they were. I was shocked!

Very happy with the service. The appointment was easy to make, they were able to come to the house the next day (even came a bit early). Travis came to check on our panel, which was found to have an "issue" during a pre home sale inspection. He confirmed just as I suspected that the home inspector had nicked a wire when reinstalling the panel cover. He repaired the nick and provided proof that this is what happened and that the panel was perfectly fine. Furthermore, he even offered to speak directly to the buyer's realtor to assure them there are no issues with the panel.Top quality service and professionalism. I had Tom's electric to install my new generac standby generator ( they are a certified dealer/ installer for generac). They did a great job and came and did it when they said they would. I was very pleased with their work.

Poor communication , worse service. No follow up. Would NOT recommend.We have several properties & used them on many of our projects but when I recently voiced a concern about some of their technicians & requested 2 in particular, I was told they would get back to me but they never did so I called them back & was told that, even though I confirmed 8 weeks worked on my next project ( which I ve also already paid for in complete ), I was told by the person answering the phone that they did not want my business & I should find a new electrician. THIS led to my poor rating but many other issues had been a factor from the last 2 projects which led my business partner to choose someone else, however, I thought we could continue under the structure I requested but, as it is a family business, they don t take kindly when you voice disdain against their kin . Blessings abound those who deserve them and especially for those who do the right thing.Services: Ground wire installation, Light fixture installation, Electrical panel repair, Electrical outlet & switch repair, Outdoor lighting installation, Electrical power restoration

After a very stressful day and horrible experience with a different company, Toms electric saved the day! I was headed to break the bank at lowes to buy a new water heater, and decided I needed a second opinion. Tom s saved me probably over a thousand dollars changing out the wires in my water heater saving me from having to buy a new one. I m so grateful and that was really the blessing I needed at the time. Also, him and his helpers were extremely polite and professional and honest.

I had Tom's electric wire in the light, switch and outlet in my metal garage. They showed when they said they would and did a fantastic job. Very professional people providing great service.

We had a difficult to diagnose power outage situation at my little house beside my parents place. Was without power for 3 days. Not knowing how to handle it and what to do; we looked up local electricians and called Toms Electric. They came out as soon as they could. Travis and his guys STAYED until they figured out what the problem was and got the power back up. A plan was designed for a more permanent fix in the future. So thankful that we called Travis Toms. Hats off to his technicians.Service: Electrical power restoration

Very professional, prompt, clean, and respectful. I needed a ceiling box and wall switch wired up for a future ceiling fan... they worked quietly and quickly - job was done in less than two hours. I highly recommend Toms Electric Service... you won't be disappointed!

Travis is a wonderful man that came out in the cold and dark to help my daughter and grandsons get power back last night. He even stayed until Duke Power was done to make sure everything was good before he left. Thank you Travis. I highly recommend this company if you need electrical work done. God bless.

I called on Monday. They gave me a quote on Wednesday. They did the work on Friday.It is the first time that has happened. Ever! Great price, great work. I am so amazed! That is the first time since I moved here that some one did what they said at the price they said in the time frame they said WOW AND THANK YOU!!

During this snow storm on 12/09/2018 we had some troubles. Our meter box was pulled away from the house and even when the power came back on 12/10 the power company cut power to our house due to this. We called and called trying to find someone who'd come out in the weather to fix the box so that we could have power restored. No one would call us back. However, we Googled some more and just happen to hit call on Tom's Electrics and they answered and were at the house within an hour. They repaired and put the box back on the house and cost was way more affordable than we'd been led to believe it was going to cost. So Thank you guys so very much!

Called this company to come and survey lightning damage to our home. They gave us a quote which I had to call for numerous times. I talked with Travis about filling out some paperwork for homeowners and even emailed it to him. Followed up with him a few days later and called. Never got a response back. Disappointed since we paid a service fee yet never had a followup to get the repairs done. Not very professional in my opinion.

Usually when someone makes and appointment time, they never show up at the specified time. These guys arrived right on time. Which is very important when you work around the schedule. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Figured out the problem, got the part and had the job completed in not time. I will use these guys again in the future and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs dependable electrician.

We had a 200 amp service panel blow and we called Toms electric service.They were great! Not olny did the finnish the work in a timely manner the cost of the repair was much better the I had expected for the amount of work that was done. If your looking for a honest hard working electrion We high recommd Tom's electric service.

I was pleased with the guys that came out to do the work until I walked in my laundry room and seen one of them standing on top of my washing machine (That isen"t even a year old) with his muddy boots. Needless to say the top of it was scratched all up and muddy. Also the mess that they left behind. There were staples,screws an nails all in the room that they did the service upgrade in an all over my carport and my yard. Also all the scrap wire an pieces of wood they left. Not to mention they had threw everything in my trash can including the old metal meter boxes wires etc.. (I have city trash pick up an that type materials are not allowed in out bins.)I had left to run some errands while they were here before I left one of the guys specifically asked me if they were gone before I got back would I want him to shut and lock my house door. I told him yes! When I arrived back home my door was standing wide open and that's when I discovered the mess that they had left. I did call the secretary and all she said was "I'm sorry and I will send them back out to get the trash out of your trash can."
