Before posting a review, I waited over 3 years and 50K miles on the rebuilt 5.7 Hemi that I purchased from Pro Engines for my 2005 Chrysler 300C. First, the customer service before and after making the purchase was exemplary. As far as the engine, it has performed flawlessly. My experience was very positive.Update: Recently sold the car with nearly 90K miles on the rebuilt engine. I had zero issues with my rebuilt engine purchased and installed at Pro Engines LLC. Still five stars and highly recommend.

If i could give negative stars i would. I bought a remanufactured engine in April that had a 3 year unlimited mile warranty and had my licensed mechanic install it. Upon installing it, within minutes it was misfiring. Had it put in the shop and when they looked at it they said it was making noise internally. They tested it and it had low compression on multiple cylinders. I never put a mile on it. Now they are saying that because the overheat tabs were melted that they wont do anything. Well i have 2 licensed mechanics telling me that it never ran long enough to overheat the motor. What they are telling me is that in their warranty they pay no labor in any circumstance. So they told me that even if i send it back and they tear it apart and find that it was their mistake that i would still have to pay labor. I asked the tech that i was speaking to if that sounded fair and he wouldnt even answer my question. Their solution was for me to have the engine removed, ship it back to them and if they find it was on them, which we all know how that would go, they would fix it but i had to pay labor. If it wasnt on them they would fix it at cost. And they acted like they were doing me a favor By saying that was more than they had to do. Which told me all i needed to know about this company. They are crooks and stay away. Do yourself a favor and spend the money and go to someone reputable.Service: Motor building

I waited until the break in period was over to write this review. I ordered a 5.7 hemi for a 2006 Chrysler 300c. The engine came in a good shipping container. The engine looked new and very clean. I had put it in at too much of an angle when I mated the transmission to it. I didn't know that mattered so much. I called these guys after my warranty was over and asked them for their advice because I couldn't get the crankshaft to turn to bolt up the torque converter. The kat that answered the phone told me that my transmission may be in a bind if I stabbed it in at too much of an angle. Sure as hell. I hooked back on to the engine and re-stabbed it. Eureka!!!! It is still running strong. 5 stars for quality, and 5 stars for customer service.Service: Motor building

I purchased a reman 5.7L Hemi from Pro Engines 5 months ago. I had a few questions before and after the sale and they were quick to answer the phone and provide answers. The engine itself now has approximately 3000 miles on it and it has run flawlessly. I am very pleased with the customer service and the products from Pro Engines.

Just bought a motor one month ago and I have to say that if this place is one word it s fast . The process is simple and easy and very very fast. No complaints as of right now I cannot make a review on motor performance. It runs after being installed. Still in the break in period tho. But the process of getting a core return took me about 30 seconds. Literaly 30 secondsService: Motor building

Its hard to find a good engine builder any more. I was delightfully surprised when i found these guys about 2 hours away. they rebuilt my 5.7 liter, got my truck working, and were very good about the communication the entire way. the owner even called me to make sure all was well with my truck and i couldn't be happier after 4 months of usage.

Ordered a motor from them on a Wednesday morning 5/8/2019 at 9:05 am because Adam told me it would ship within 2 days. They didn't even request a pick up until Friday afternoon at 12:36 pm. Initially Adam said a subcontractor for Roadrunner picked it up Friday but come to find out they took it to the subcontractor which was a lie. They dropped it off late Friday afternoon at the subcontractor for Roadrunner. The shipper verified it was still in North Carolina on Monday with an estimated shipping arrival of Friday which is 2 days after the 3-4 business days Adam told me. After complaining to them and threatening to dispute the charge and cancel the order I decided to go ahead and accept the motor on Friday if was up to standards. I told them I would run a scope through it and make sure it was perfect and the next thing you know the following day they said they refunded my money and cancelled the shipment which put my customer in a bad situation. My final correspondence stated I would accept the motor in perfect condition but they cancelled it anyway. Why did they cancel after knowing I would look it over internally? Make your own conclusion. They blame it on the shipper...not their delay to ship last thing Friday. I guarantee you if you have any problem with them they will pawn blame elsewhere. There are many reputable companies out there, don't take a chance like I did.

I was looking for an engine for my truck and for some reason these online places were all sounding a little bit sketchy for what they were offering. It all sounded great at first but after doing a little more leg work and looking for some reviews that were not posted by themselves I found it more comfortable to go with the local auto wrecker and ended up getting my engine at half the price of these online places and felt so much more comfortable that I had a person to talk to and a place that I could go back to if there was a problem. I was surprised to find that is he used engine industry is a big scam or there are a lot of places that have bad reviews and are trying to take our money when we are in dire need of the heart of our car. I suggest doing your research before committing to an online engine. Read the reviews and do some digging before committing

these guys were the least priced for a Hemi 5.7L so thats what made me chose them. of course i checked reviews. they were easy to deal with and allowed a discount for "cash" price (wire transfer)do not purchase on ebay contact them directly for best price. besides Ebay is horrid (the company itself)i did have an issue which required it to go back to the shop. Pro Engines were very prompt in not only paying for the repair but my rental car as well.a month later i bit more trouble and once again they came through.a good price is always great but quality customer service and standing behind the product is what makes a company stand out.

I have to say I have never had such a bad experience like I have dealing with this company. They built a 5.7 hemi for me. I got it back it was ticking, drove it for a week, took it back they said it was the lifter. Stopped ticking for a while back ticking for the past year. It has had several gaskets blown that aren't under the warranty. More money out of my pocket. As well as it is skipping. Haven't been able to keep this car on the road since they built it for me. Would send it back but they want 200 just to come pick up and fix there mistakes... plus extra for whatever they have to fix.4000 down the drain. So disappointed with this company. And I dont need their response to be sorry, I need them to fix their faulty work.

I needed a new engine in my 2011 Challenger and found Pro engines. They were very accommodating and I shipped my car from Nashville TN to them. They installed the engine very fast and did a great job!Customer service was great.I got my car back after that and drove it for a few days before discovering an oil leak which was annoying considering the amount of money I put into a remanufactured engine and install.I brought it for an oil change to see if it was coming from the oil filter housing but it did not change anything. They told me to figure out where it comes from and to call them so I brought it to a mechanic that found out it was coming from a seal and it would cost me $300 to repair which I agreed thinking that Pro Engine would help me with that situation.I called this morning and they told me to either bring the car to them (which is impossible because its about 7 hours from me) or they would provide me with a new seal, which is inexpensive (labor is what costs the most). They were not willing to help me in any ways financially with an oil leak coming from an engine they did remanufacture and install.I completely understand they did not make that seal, but they did install it and its their responsibility to make sure every engines they deliver and install doesnt have any leaks.Specially from a company thats calling itself "the leade in remanufactured hemi engines"I am a business owner and I would never leave a customer into a situation like this. They could have at least share the cost of labor, or find some sort of solution to make this process easier but nope.Too bad, I really liked that company at first, I suggest they become more understanding that people that spend several thousand dollars with them don't want to see an oil leak in their engine.

New buyers beware! Bought a engine from them with a leaking head gasket a couple months later running it. Company wanted to swap it out for a new one because it was under warranty so after paying my mechanic $2200 to take out of the shop the second time. company only reimbursed me for $500. (Potential buyers) if you read there warranty it says that in of case of a law suit that the purchaser is responsible for the companies defensive lawyer fees. I would have to guess they got sued alot in the past to add that and if I would of known that I would of bought another engine elsewhere because it's not a true 90 day warranty. I dont see the pride in customer satisfaction

I would never do business with this company again. After purchasing the motor they gave us nothing but a hard time. The motor we received was built completely wrong upon arrival, and after they had a mechanic fix what they did wrong, we found that more and more was wrong with this motor. We took the truck to the Lithia dealership who diagnosed it with major internal motor problems, pro engine disagreed and paid for us to take the truck to another local mechanic, who also stated there was major internal motor problems. After this pro engines still disagreed with the mechanics and tried to blame the mechanics who diagnosed it. They refused to warranty the motor unless sent thousands of dollars first. Worst experience ever.

David and Bryan are the best. Customer satisfaction is what I was hoping for and exactly what I got. I don't expect to ever get another hemi engine but if I do, I know where to go. Thank you both.

Cant say much for this company. first motor blew in one week, second motor blew in two weeks, both had timing chain issues. What a wast of my money and time. would not recommend these people to my worst enemy.90 day warranty, give me a break. The motor was a 4.7. THE COMPANY WAS TGS TRUCK. I had to buy the customer,s truck from him. The truck is parked in the back with the blown chain tentioner, after i called you about chain noise and u told me heavy duty chain and tentioners [ REALLY]. u know adam its funny that u would forget about a customer after sending two bad motors. The labor alone killed me. never the less had to give the customer 1900.00 dollars for the truck, the cost of the motor from u, and the all dreaded labor to do it twice. needless to say, dont have a running truck to sell because im to busy satisfying my customers.

These folks are frauds as apparant in there effort to constantly dismiss my review which i will continue to post. They will use all means in their arsenal to void your rebuild. If your looking for professional engine work i employ you to look elsewhere. They will refuse to disclose any picture that they claim to have in effort to avoid being suedAny attempt to remove review will result in it being resubmitted to warn other potential victims. Side not the good reviews are fake.
