Genuinely the best experience I have ever had at a car place. Their team was super flexible in fitting me in, kind, considerate, and thorough. As a younger female, I generally don't enjoy anything to do with car shops/repairs, but this team was so kind and respectful, I will absolutely be returning here if/when my car needs things in the future. Highly highly recommend!

Amazing service and extremely helpful! My car is almost 30 years old and can be very difficult to repair, anything that I can t identify they are always there to help! I got my car back in less than a few days last time I got something fixed, and when I recently got it diagnosed, they did not overcharge me and were super good about communicating! Thank you to JJ specifically for being very responsive to all my questions. Long live my ancient turbo brick.

I'm a DIY car owner, but life is occasionally too busy. This shop is honestly a 10 out of 10. Casual approach, honest, quick... loaner car when yours is in the shop. I've never had a repair experience like this. Highly recommended for any/all needs. They don't make them like this anymore.

Traveled from RI to Durham with my 2007 95 Sabb. After another auto repair couldn't fix my car, Swedish Imports knew how to expertly repair my Sabb at a fair price I would highly recommend them.

Excellent service for swedish and other foreign car models. I have had them look after several Volvo cars over the years and I think they do excellent work plus charge fair prices

Great mechanics. Very honest and not looking to do unnecessary work. They specialize in Swedish vehicles but work on almost any brand. I bring my Subaru here and they are very knowledgeable about them. Was so pleased started bringing my Hyundai as well. Pleasant people always working in the front. They are very quick if you make an appointment in advance.

Went in with problems concerning my brakes being noisy and my tire pressure light not turning off despite my tire pressures being fine. They inspected the problems, explained to me what was wrong in a way that I (who has no knowledge of cars) understood without being condescending, answered all follow-up questions I had, gave me advice about what steps to take going forward, and ended up not charging me anything to do those checks because I decided (per their advice) not to replace any parts. Very honest and friendly. A less trustworthy place could have advised me to replace the parts despite there being no problem with their functionality to make money.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Wonderful interactions. After an unsuccessful repair at the local Volvo dealer that took more than a week, Swedish Imports got me in the next day and solved the problem by 2pm. It was a night and day improvement from the dealer. They know Volvos and Saabs really well. I ll never go anywhere else as long as I have a Volvo.

Swedish Imports is the best. Complete trust that they will not only do a good job, but that they do right by me as to what s needed and what can be deferred (and for how long) on my car. No upselling. Customer for over 22 years. Grateful to have such a great mechanic in the area. Had a check engine light come back on after a previous service elsewhere, and decided to take my Volvo over to Swedish Imports on the recommendation of a friend to get it diagnosed. They were helpful, kind, extremely professional, and diagnosed and fixed the issue in less than an hour. Great folks. Oil pressure was low turned out to be a sensor. They really have my Saab running like new even though I have to drive a hour and a half to take it to the shop it is well worth it to have my Saab repaired correctly.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I haven't been to this place in a while, but when I used to go the service was excellent. They were always fair and friendly. My son just bought a used Volvo and it was the first place I told him to drive it to get a once over.

I feel comfortable taking my car to Swedish Imports for service.I feel assured that the service they provide is honest and in my experience, done correctly. Service was great. I had a transmission fluid leak which they found and replaced. They also fixed a leak I had in my AC system. Work was timely and they were very transparent about pricing. A great alternative to the BIG dealer auto service shops. Swedish imports is a professional, very friendly, great price, wonderful service and clean shop conveniently located just off 15/501. We were surprised to find out they work on most imports. A new friend heard we were having ghost starting problems with our Subaru and recommended Swedish .... happy he did! 10 stars !!

Handled my problem with the ignition over the phone enabling me to start the car and get it to Swedish Import. They got the needed part within a day, explained the issue and fixed. Good Job. Mike

We have had only good experiences with Swedish Imports - and we've been taking our cars to them since 2000. They are very professional, thorough, and always do an excellent job. The work gets done on time, and they always keep us posted on the progress and any issues that arise during the time they're working on the car. An extremely professional, well-run business!

JJ and the whole Swedish Imports team are highly professional, knowledgeable and truly helpful. I have never felt pressured into or uncomfortable with any work they have done on my Volvo. They make sure to keep you informed on the diagnosis of your vehicle and give you the best options if any repairs are necessary. They are great!

Once again I had a great experience at Swedish Imports. One of my Saabs was running roughly so I dropped it off, they diagnosed and fixed the problem right away, and I was ready to go. They are honest, friendly, and the mechanics are highly skilled. They have my highest praise!

Place where I brought my vehicle did a tune up but said my Saab would need a new engine computer because the car was still not running correctly. That computer is on back order with at least a 3 month wait time. I had it towed to Swedish Imports and they told me it needed a tune up and they could tell someone just gave it a tune up but didn't use the correct parts for my car. They did the tune up correctly and I got my car back the next day. Its been running smooth ever since. I will be using them from now on for anything that has to do with my Saab.Service: Auto engine tuning
