Fantastic place and mechanic. My son goes to UNC and his VW started misfiring. We found Phaeton Motorwerks by reading reviews. So glad we did! Roscoe was so responsive and took the car on a Friday afternoon and called Saturday with the good news that it was fixed. Took the time to look over the car (since we bought it used just a month ago) and let us know how things looked. Repair was done and so reasonably priced (which is hard to get with older VWs sometimes). They stayed on Saturday and my son was able to get his car back. Super nice folks too!! Thank you. We will be back for all of our services on this car.Service: Engine repair

Roscue, Ben and the team are very knowledgeable, I have been here 3 times and they always impress me with their knowledge. They explain you exactly whats wrong with the car, and they suggest the repairs needed now and some repairs that can wait. They work on the cars as if its their own cars. My cars have been running great and smooth because of their experience and knowledge. Definitely the best mechanic I've ever used. I came with my Passat to fix a ton of problems and they allowed me to use their space to work from home for the entire day. I've taken several VW syncros to Roscoe with excellent results solving my issues. Had a nagging battery drain that I personally worked on finding my self and took to several shops with no resolution. Roscoe found the problem and I've had no issues since. He also cured wiring problems the shop I purchased thevan from created which greatly improved the function of my auxiliary battery system. Can't say enough good things about the quality of his work and my interactions with him while my vans were in his shop. The only person besides myself I'll let work on my rigs on the east coast. Highly recommend!

I was overwhelmed with my positive experience with Roscoe. He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable which translated into a super fast fix on my 2004 Passat (over 200k miles).This is the first time I've left the auto shop feeling great about the service I'd received - the quality of work, time, cost, and customer service exceeded my expectations. Super nice guy! He saved me money when I just had a mysterious power issue and was willing to take time out of his schedule to look at my battery. Plus, very willing to talk about his business and the great work he does rehabbing old VW vans!

He is the best VW mechanic around don t take your car to the dealership for them to charge 3x as much for long lines and terrible service bring it to him he s fix my car twice and customer service is great along with his work I m telling you that you won t regret it
