Second time I ve tried to get a scheduled change. They do not honor apptm times. I scheduled online for an oil change at 5:30 and also called and confirmed with whomever answers the phone that my apptm was set. I walk in ant 5:18 and the person at the desk says the last guy left at 5. I said well I made an apptm online and his reply was the apptm are automated by corporate. If you know you have apptms scheduled with no staff you should call and let the person know. Or have someone stay to take care of the apptm. What is the point in having the option to schedule an apptm?

I am deeply disappointed in the service I received yesterday. I went in for a scheduled oil change, waited for 2 hours for the service to be completed, and then Stuart informed me the technicians could not get my car to start because the battery had died and they had to replace it. It is awfully convenient that my car started without issue for the errands I ran before my appointment and for the technician to drive my car to the back, but after it had been in their possession for 2 hours it was no longer functional. What was I to do? They put me in a compromising position because I couldn t get a second opinion if I couldn t drive it off the lot. They leveraged the age of my battery for a quick buck, and I suspect they noted my age and gender to create an attack of opportunity. Mr. Tire hires folks who lack integrity.

Everyone here is always so helpful and kind. Pricing is very fair. All the guys go above and beyond.I never feel "scammed" here like I do at other popular local chains that also have tire in the name

Do not believe the posted hours. Was first in for open at 7:30am but techs do not show up until almost 9. Took an hour to change a single tire. Complete lackadaisical energy even when informed of my time crunch

This particular Mr. Location might be a hidden gem for you if you're seeking maintenance or tires. They are easy to work with and really try to find a solution that's going to work for your wallet and your car's needs. I've been around to a few different places in Durham for tires, oil changes, etc, and this place has earned my loyalty.Now if you're not a person that likes franchises, I get it, but the place is staffed with your fellow hard working Durhamites. I never once felt like I was dealing with a corporate mechanism. There were some suggestions about what to do if my vehicle next, but no pushy up selling.I'll typically list criticism of a place in a review if I have any. Here I really don't. Whether or not Mr. Tire is the choice for you will depends on what you're looking for with service. For most of my life I haven't been made out of money, but I'm at a point now where I can choose service over pure cost. Mr Tire is very reasonable on service prices. They are much cheaper than most franchises. That being said, I've shopped around, you can find slightly cheaper service and cheaper tires (less than a $10 difference in any thing that I saw). However in terms of quality for price, I don't think you can beat these guys. When you get a car repair you want to make sure you're not going to need another one anytime soon, and I felt like these guys did excellent work.

Had my first flat tire after work and they fixed it up. Chill place, I can just exist without having to talk a lot. In and out. All I want out of a shopping experience.

I got there 25 minutes before closing time with a bad tire stem. They had me in and out in about 5 minutes. Excellent service.

Helped me in a tough situation. My car was losing break fluid at a rapid rate so I had to make an unexpected stop to this location for help. They found my line had split so a costly repair was needed. Was serviced within 2hrs. Which wasn t horrible considering I was a walk-in. Grateful to be safe on the road again. They were kind enough to help with a small percentage off since it was an out of pocket expense that I was not prepared for. Thank you!

I took my car in for a routine oil change at 7:30AM just to find out after getting off work at 3pm my car had not been moved or looked at since that time. When I came into the facility the service guy emeditly graded my keys to service it. NO THANKS I WOULD NEVER GO THER AGAIN .

These guys are amazing! The plastic plates on the bottom of my car came partially off, causing my brother to contemplate our fiery death on the way back home from the river. Took the car to Mr. Tire auto shop and they took off the plates and tossed them averting almost certain disaster. They were very sweet, and did not charge me which was both unexpected and very much appreciated. Highly recommended!

We have been coming here for a couple years and a few months back we had them chance our mass air flow sensor (we bought and brought the part and paid the installation fee) I asked the old one be placed in the box in case we needed it. A few month later we are getting the same codes and come to find out our new mass air flow sensor is still in the box. So we paid for them to install nothing smfh.

The mechanics are top-notch! I personally dealt with Mike and Stewart and I received OUTSTANDING SERVICE. They are so kind, patient and professional. Ad a female I've been taken advantage of with various auto shops many times. I felt comfortable with the service I received at Mr Tire. This is the only place I will take my car

Brought tire in for a patch and was told that my tire was completely messed up and unsafe to drive. They recommended I replace not just that tire, but both of the front ones. My tires are fairly new. It being Sunday I waited to take it into another shop that I trusted and got a quick patch and was told that my tires looked amazing. Do not recommend going here.

They were quick on patching a tire like most shops there s a list of thing that need to be fixed with your car but overall they weren t pushy about breaks, calipers, rotors like most shops will be. Overall not a shabby shop.

Our Tires were low on air about a week and a half ago and this guy at the desk was very polite and nice and helped us out and filled it with air for free. We have a brand new car so the tire pressure we re all at around 33 psi while one was at 21 so he got it back to 34 so thanks. Great place and highly recommended

I came in on Thurs for State Inspection, but needed to make appt due to increased workload. The clerk waa very nice. He made me one for Sat at 1p. When I got there Sat, they were ready for me and the wait was minimal. Both of the clerks on each day were very nice.

Very nice place. Not the nicest interior to sit and wait but lovely staff. I took away one star because I had told them I would pick up a tire and then when I forgot a few hours later to cancel the guy got an attitude. I totally understand but I was gonna call he just beat me to it and I did say sorry. But I completely understand why he was frustrated hence why I still like them a lot.

Stuart and the Migos will always hook you upI don't write reviews but for maintenance its important to know what shop won't bs you and are educated in mechanics . These are them. I drive an hour to make sure its done right. Stuart is the OG

The service was great! I was in town with my dad in the hospital in Durham. We live about 1.5 hrs out of town. I didnt know what shop would be good for a nail in our tire but when I came by to see if we could get worked in, they told me how busy they were at that moment but when I could check back by to get fit into the schedule. I knew I was at a good place, the staff at the front desk was so nice and informative. I was confident the service would be what we needed. I think Stuart, the manager helped me. Thanks for the excellent service!!! Id recommend to anyone.

Had appointment for 7:30 am, To have two new tires and balanced and aligned.They never order tires, and the workers were half hour forty five minutes late.Still here 10:30 am

George was so amazingly helpful! I brought my car a day early (on a Sunday nonetheless) because my flat tire was progressing fast. I had no expectation he would tend to it before my appointment the next day but he managed to work me in same day, fix the tire AND my key which had a low battery! So pleased with his quick help and kind nature! Definitely will be a repeat customer!

I cannot say enough great things about them! We had an emergency and we were stranded on the highway with a flat tire/damage to our car from hitting someone else s tire. We had two children with us and I called Mr. Tire and they were completely booked for the day, but after I explained what had happened and we were just passing through and needed help; they stopped everything just to help us get a new tire and even removed pieces of my vehicle that were not on correctly after the crash so that we could drive it home to be repaired. Truly great people that work here and a great company, I would recommend them to everyone. Pricing was also great which wasn t my concern but they probably could have charged way more for the time and extra service I was givenBut they did not. Thank you so much!!!! You have no idea how much you helped us in what started as a very bad morning!

Michael J. is the man! If his boss sees this, that man needs to be given a raise. Michael was a first class gentleman and very knowledgeable. From the time I walked through the door with my TPMS sensor problem to the time I left, I Michael and his crew did an outstanding job. Well done gents!
