I don't generally do reviews good or bad. But I had to leave one today for this company right here. I had an emergency situation with my car. I was a women in distress and they did not that advantage of me. I truly appreciate the customer service and support through everything. Shout out to every worker that helped me out and got me home safe. Much appreciation and awesome to know that we still have human compassion out here in today's world. Definitely would go back to support this particular company.

The men here are top-notch. My tire got a nail in it Saturday at 5:30. They close at 6. I called and they were still able to patch my tire in no time. I would hate to have someone come in 20 minutes before I finished at work, but they never made me feel like an imposition, and I am so appreciative. Fantastic customer service, fantastic work, and a fantastic price.

Today I took my Subaru in to get 4 new tires. The shop manager was working alone, as all of his staff called out for the day, and I was impressed by the volume of clients he could provide quality service to! He tried to install tires I thought would fit my vehicle (the Mr. Tire website told me so!) and they turned out to be the wrong size. The manager ended up giving me a discount to ensure I could drive away with quality, new tires for the price I had planned on spending. I will definitely be bringing my business back in the future!

I am very pleased with the service that I receive at Mr. Tire Auto service center located at 1712 East HWY 54 in Durham. They are fast and efficient. I always leave with confidence that my auto has received the best service and repairs possible.

Don't expect them to honor the appointment system. Had a small issue that they created themselves when they rotated my tires without my knowledge. I had already rotated and balanced them a couple hundred miles earlier, so I was annoyed to see that they undid the rotation and moved visibly more worn tires to the front again. I asked them to put them back, but they told me to call the next day when the manager was in. I called the next day (it took several tries over 45 minutes to get an answer) and the manager briefly tried to talk me out of it, saying it didn't matter (you heard it here first: Rotating your tires is pointless). Then he told me to come in the next day. I made an appointment online for the next day and showed up on time. In store, they told me, "Nah, it's not gonna work. Come back tomorrow." I told him the manager told me to come in today and I made an appointment; it's not like I just showed up out of the blue. "Manager's not here. Come back tomorrow." Well, I took time off work to come in today. I'm not taking more time off work to come in tomorrow to fix a 10 minute problem that they created. (And who's to say I come in the next day and they say, "Nah, we can't do that. Come back tomorrow" again?) So I went home and spent an hour juggling my spare tire around and raising and lowering my car 6 times to re-rotate the tires myself. I'll take my business elsewhere if appointments can't be honored.

They ran into some unexpected issues while fixing my Range Rover but did a great job keeping me informed and worked on my vehicle until they were satisfied with its performance. It now rides as smooth as when I bought it. I always bring my vehicles to them for tires, oil changes, maintenance, and mechanical issues.

Stopped by for a slow leak in a tire. Had to get to a meeting so the crew added air until I could return. Stopped by later in the day and they repaired the tire in 25 minutes while I waited. All the while, I was treated like a guest in their home. Great people, great service - I highly recommend.

I was given a window of 2-3 days to complete a water pump replacement on my vehicle by the service writer Brandy. A manager named Chad confirmed this estimate when I dropped my vehicle off on 2 NOV 2023. It took 13 days. The shop didn t call me when the job was complete, I happened to stop by and a manager, Thomas, told me my vehicle had been ready for a couple of hours . Upon inspection, I was missing a screw in my fender well, my hood prop clip was broken, the rubber seal on one the doors had been ripped , a lower panel on the passenger side was pulled out of place, the wheel alignment was completely askew, my engine cover was ripped and missing a clip and wasn t secured to the engine at all, and my coolant reservoir was totally empty- on a water pump replacement job. I know all this because I shot photos of my vehicle and engine bay prior to dropping it off. I also took photos of the vehicle over the course of the two weeks it was at the shop. There are new creaks and groans in my front suspension that were not present before. This tracks as the technician, Kevin, told me he didn t do it by the book b/c his hands get cut up when doing so.I had a heated discussion with the DM Mike W. and after some tense moments we came to an agreement on the price and getting the broken/missing items fixed. He ordered the rubber seal immediately which I appreciated. I wasn t notified when the seal arrived, I again had to stop by the shop. My prop clip was never replaced, and Mike W. said the machine to align my vehicle had been down for weeks .I ve used this location for over four years for three different vehicles. The service writer, Brandy, has always been excellent, the techs were good about showing you what work had been done if asked, and prior to this debacle the work was satisfactory and even above so on at least one occasion in particular involving my pickup. While I m glad Mike W. and I met where we needed to on pricing, the litany of negatives that occurred on this job will not allow me to use this location for any type of service again, nor can I recommend it to anyone else.

Walked in the office and witnessed the manager arguing with clients over a price quoted VS the price the client had to pay. Very unprofessional and rude. And all the manager can advise as a resolution was to file a complaint with corporate. He has no control over what another associate quote. Sir , you are the manager. What do you mean? Once the couple left.. the manager the engages in an unprofessional conversation, about the situation with his peers. I m like are you serious? They all walk out of office to discuss in the shop. Very rude. I finally gotten a quote for rear rotors and front and rear brakes: $859. I know ya ll lying. Charging $350 for the rotors. Hell The manufacture, which is dodge rear rotors is less than $ 250. Like are u serious. Needless to say I left. Was able to order all parts from advanced auto under $250 and found a shop to fix for $200. Definitely do not recommend and will NEVER go back to them.

The associate I talked to was amazing, didn't try to upsell me, and answered all my questions. I would come back specifically because of the lack of upsell, which gave me faith that I was actually being taken care of rather than taken advantage of.

$163 was missing from my car. I never leave cash in my car but my car had unexpected issues and it was late. not sure if someone there took it or if they left the car unlocked but either way unacceptable

Manager refused a road hazard warranty that the shop is in network for. He told me that he didn t want to deal with it; that was his only reasoning. Just wanted to play games the whole time.Terrible customer service and extremely rude manager. HIGHLY do not recommend this location.

Have you been dying to try out the Durham city bus? Then drop your vehicle off at Mr. Tire!As an added bonus, you'll get the pleasure of forking over all your money, and if you're lucky, missing work. So humble yourself and live like the impoverished. At Mr. Tire.

I caught a nail on Saturday, so on Sunday I walked in to get it patched. The manager was nice and polite, and my tire is fixed.

Went in with a near brand new tire that had a leak around the bead. Came out with a ruined tire with a clear impression mark from their machine and told I must have not noticed the giant bulge when removing my wheel and bringing it in. When inflated the bulge is the size of a baseball. Customer service rep says the tire shop claims they didn t do it so obviously they must be telling the truth and I am blind. Got stuck with a $400 bill to replace my tire, Went to Discount Tire, and prevented me from taking a Labor Day vacation due to not having a functional vehicle. Unless they do some investigation, check some cameras and see the perfect tire I rolled in, and make this right financially, I would never recommend this place.

They no longer do inspections here. I booked an appointment online noting I was looking for an inspection. They never contacted but I showed up and they said they don't do inspections. I thought they did as I got it done here last year but idk, assumed they would have contacted me but maybe they don't read appointment request.

I just wanted to thank everyone at Mr. Tire for giving me great advice on tires andfor giving me "free" check ups when I had gone in with a low pressure monitor reading. They never complained; never charged me for it either. Always friendly and respectful. Thanks!

I had a really great experience while getting an alignment and inspection done here. The staff is very warm & welcoming and made me feel right at home. I want to give a huge shout out to Brandy at the front desk as he kept me updated with all the services being done. You can tell he really cares about the customers and is able to hold meaningful conversations while I waited. I will be stopping in again for all future work needed on my vehicle!

I left home today to run some errands and my tire pressure light came on. I immediately started googling tire places near me and Mr. Tire was the only one that was still open. It was like 5:30 and they closed at 6:00. I went there and Thomas looked at all 4 and didn't see anything initially wrong so he offered to check the tire pressure and add some air if needed. When he got to the back passenger tire he checked and saw that it had a nail in it. Although it was super late, he asked one of the team members to take care of it. Jodeci patched it up like new and it is driving smoothly. I am sooooo very thankful for their kind, friendly and professional service. If anyone needs tire work done, I would gladly refer them to Mr. Tire!

I am a local customer who has used this shop before. I brought my car in to have two tires replaced. The technician told me that my tires went bad due to an alignment issue, despite the even tread wear. He assured me that it was 100% an alignment issue. The cost to replace two tires was $140 +~$100 alignment(he insisted that I need to do it) , which I found to be excessive. I took my car to another shop down the road and had the tires replaced for $80. The alignment was checked and found to be in good condition. I feel like the first shop tried to take advantage of me and tried to scam me out of money. I will not be returning to this shop. To All: Learn about alignment and do not fall for that popular scam.

I have two toddlers so without the TV to entertain them I think it made for an uncomfortable scenario for us as well as the other customers, hopefully this issue will be address soon.Jeff was great! He's very personable and I enjoy interacting with him both over the phone and in person. The workers are very timely and have done great work on my vehicle. However, neither of the TVs in this location works.

Went here yesterday. So glad I did!I was on my way to work when my car's check-engine light came on, the traction light came on, and the system restricted my speed. So I pulled over and got it towed just to the closest repair shop to home, and ended up here at Mr. Tire.To my great luck! I have a Chevrolet car and a GMC Mastertech for Chevrolet cars works here! And they were able to see me that day! There were one of two possibilities: that either my pressure gauge was broken or my entire pressure system. So we checked the cheaper of the two options first. And that was it!I had my Cranberry (car) back by noon, and everyone had been so kind and willing to explain the problem to me.Would go again. Easily.

Brought my car in for an oil change and I was the only person there. Got there at 1040am and at 1145am they came out and told me that it was 'basically done' but they didn't have the oil...and they were going to go get it from a store down the street so it should be another minute but just about ready to go....waited another hour and I had to actively go check on it again to see what the deal was and they still didn't have the oil. Why would you not tell someone beforehand that you don't have the oil for the OIL CHANGE. On top of it, I told them my wife was waiting on me to pick her up but it really didn't mean much to them. Oil changes literally take 10 mins to do total and they dragged their feet and kept me here for over 2 hours. There was a nice tall bald guy there who wasn't the guy who originally helped me but the rest of the staff just had lackluster service with just about zero follow up. I will not be taking my car there again.
