UPDATE! STILL DONT GO HERE!They returned my vehicle with engine over heating , they added coolant to it and told me it was good to drive. My jeep is now not able to be driven, and my coolant tank is sludge! They also alerted my insurance team lead of a fault code that would drain my battery which left me stranded as a woman, and they failed to tell me this or include it in their report to me, I was stranded in a dark parking lot 30 minutes from my Home!They installed the wrong parts on my vehicle and left my front bumper still hanging off. If I could give 0 stars I would, DO NOT GO HERE. This whole experience has been incredibly stressful working with this collision center.Front bumper piece is not secured, missing my interior door handle piece with a light.. for some odd reason on an exterior collision, and my felt covers for my struts are missing.Working with this center has been a full time job, they did not complete my car when promised, in fact they tried to turn it back to me with stability hazard light on and alignment off, when I turned around and showed Rodney, the estimator, that hazard lights were still on and the jeeps wheel was pointing in the opposite direction, indicating alignment off, he immediately says Insurance isn t going to cover that because it wasn t apart of the accident LOLSo I say, no man it s not done, that was apart of the collision, he goes alright, we will take it and send it to the dealership for inspection, and I ll update the insurance company for you as well as extend your rental and update you tomorrow. He did not. Enterprise called me telling me that they were charging me $50 per day for the rental and charged my card for $150, insurance company says they were notified repairs were done and no one was contacting me back, so my jeep was missing.I had to call the manager and I was ticked off and he said Are you going to stop talking so I can talk? 0 empathy for the frustration They had my car for an entire month and half, also called my insurance to talk about my struts and alignment and the insurance company denied it saying that the estimator told the adjuster that he doesn t think my alignment being off and hazard lights on are because of the front end collision. I escalated it and they covered but called Rodney and he said Oh wow, they approved it, they must ve reviewed it and escalated it No Rodney. I did. I advocated for myself and my vehicle that I take really well care of.I then had to call them every week about my parts and my rental coverage was running out, and Rodney said we were waiting on parts. I asked for the parts number, he did not provide but I went to my dealership and they shouted the parts they could get the next day. When I called Rodney back he said Oh they have the parts in!It should be done by Monday Monday comes around no call, I call before they close and they say oh yeah it s been ready but they can t deliver it today Tuesday comes around, I am at work, my partner comes to get my rental, cause Rodney said my car should be ready and he will call.Again, 5 pm starts approaching and I call because they haven t updated, and they call my partner to say it s ready. He goes to pick it up,Engine overheating. He brings it back to the center and they re telling my partner not to argue with them The next day. Car won t start, see that paint is chipping, grill is warped, felt covers missing from my struts, piece of my front bumper still hanging and not attached and that for some reason my interior door handle is missing the cover.Had to take it to my own dealership to get a diagnosis and replace the battery that they shot, costing me $600 and a vehicle with pieces missing or not doneThis is absolutely laughable how terrible this place has been.

Rodney was great with customer service but the person who washes the cars after needs to be a lot more careful about how close they are putting the pressure washer wand.These wheels were immaculate before I dropped off the car and have been pressure washed many times before but the person who cleaned my car ruined the wrap on the wheels. Every single wheel was damaged. Be extremely careful going here, but honestly Rodney was such a great person to work with I decided to give 2 stars instead of 1. With a place that services this many vehicles, they should definitely be more careful will who they hire to clean after the fact

They were horrible at communicating with me regarding the details of my vehicle repair. My husband had to call them to get updates. They rarely called us to let us know anything. They extended the work time on four different occasions. It took about a month to get my vehicle into their shop. After they took possession of the vehicle, it took exactly four weeks to fix. When we went to pick it up, it still had a huge dent in the side!!! The work was great after everything was finished (hence the three stars). The gentleman at the front desk was very rude. I mentioned all of the delays and how often my husband had to call for information. He rudely stated, we ve been short-staffed for the last couple of days, and then he got up and left. He never apologized for the inconvenience. If being short-staffed was the reason for the lack of communication, lack of customer service, etc. for the past couple of days, what was their excuse for the problems in the three prior weeks??? Rodney Johns was the only exception here: he was friendly throughout the process and attempted to correct any issues we had along the way. My stepfather went with me on one occasion to pick up the vehicle and since it still had a dent in the side, my stepfather was quite rude. Rodney dealt very professionally with him. (Yes, I apologized for his behavior.)The work done on the vehicles here is average. Customer service was unsatisfactory (with the exception of Rodney). Communication was lacking throughout the entire process. We plan on going elsewhere for future repairs.

I had a car a car accident July 15th 2023 and my car sustained front end damage as well as the front windshield completely shattered! Immediately after the accident the next day I called my insurance company and set me up with this amazing shop which was close to my job and I took the car there and the customer service from the very beginning was Great and very informative as to keeping me updated on the repairs to my car which I loved and they did an amazing job on my car I definitely recommend this shop to any one keep up the good job!!! And thank you for getting my car back in great shape

If I could give 0 stars I certainly would. This is the most unprofessional service. DO NO EVER GO HERE. Car has been there for a month now and now I gotta pay out of pocket for the rental car. They said it would be done last week and then today and now nobody is answering. They keep dragging it out. I have not had a car for over a month now. Any other shop would get this done in a week or two. Read other reviews and BEWARE!

I've never dealt with a company like this in my life. We hit a deer on October 8 and now, eight weeks later, we still do not have our car. This place rarely answers the phone, they don't return our calls when we leave voicemails, and they will give us no timeframe of when we'll have our vehicle back.The most upsetting part is that we have spent hundreds of dollars on a rental car; we are now out of money and have no way to get to work. They didn't even provide us with an estimate until three weeks after our car was towed there! It just sat on their lot.We've lost sleep over this and still have no idea when it will be resolved; even our insurance company said they've never seen anything like this. We can't express how frustrated and angry we are.DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, NO MATTER WHAT!

Messy!!! We were called to pick up my car twice and was told it was ready. I called to say I was on my way right before I dropped off a rental. I got there and the car had a missing rear window, there was a hole that you could see through the ceiling where the frame of the window was removed. Nobody could tell me why it was out when all the work was in the front. We had to take it because it was needed for work-- taped up with plastic. They took it back and then we had no car because the rentals were out for 4 days. THEN, the car was towed to another repair shop and left. They called me because they didn't know why the car was even there. NEVER have I seen such a mess and lack of concern for a patron!!!! I will never use them again.!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE. if i could put a zero star i would . My experience at Michael Jordan Collision Center was horrible. I came to get my car repaired after my car accident. The receptionist was very nice and she helped me through the process until Nick was helping me. I expressed to him that this was my only vehicle i have meaning i needed an estimated date when my vehicle was going to be done. I had to chase him around and call him just to get updates on my vehicle . He didn t know much and kept giving me dates that he promised and then goes ghost on me. I didn t care how long it took honestly but he would never give me updates on my vehicle and kept having to chase him. He s very unprofessional and I will never come back to this place again.Service: Painting

Stephany and Rachel at the front desk were very professional and friendly and helped out a lot! But crucially Mike Walker, wow, I dont even know where to begin, Mike was extremely friendly and helpful and put me at ease with my repair and the entire situation. Despite calling several times Mike and the front desk team were responsive and respectful. Cant say enough

I brought my vehicle in after being involved in a crash and have been extremely pleased with the quality and service at Michael Jordan Collision Center in Durham, NC. The customer service was outstanding and very attentive to my situation and needs. Rachel Hunt, Office Manager; Mike Bevan, Collision Center Estimator; and Tyler Blackwell, PaintSpecialist certainly understand the meaning of customer service and support as they went above and beyond the standards to assist and assure me during the entire process. Very satisfied! My very fancy BMW got rear ended in December. It s a very unusual blue-black color and covered in OEM carbon fiber and hard to find performance parts. David and MJCC worked their butts off to track down all the correct parts and talk my insurance into covering them all. All in all it was a phenomenal experience and I m very happy with the results. Took a LITTLE longer than I expected or would have preferred but given the rarity of some of the parts I needed that didn t surprise or bother me at all. They truly made my car look just as good, if not better; than when it rolled out of the factory.Service: Body & Trim

I definitely recommend this place. I took my used older Prius here to get a smashed front bumper fixed, in addition to some serious preexisting damage to the impact bar, of which I had been previously unaware. I was able to get an appointment quite easily, even with lots of other places filled up. Supply chain nonsense kept my car in the shop for around a month(!), but it wasn't MJCC's fault. They consistently stayed on top of things and sent text updates. David was calm, patient, and professional throughout the entire ordeal, and I also appreciated the kindness of the front desk staff. The repair itself went fine. I went on a road trip a couple months later and everything felt safe. I didn't feel taken advantage of or talked down to as a first-time car owner/young woman (I can't say the same for my insurance company. F.U., AAA).Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Most dangerous driver I've seen in ages today in a Michael Jordan Collision Center pickup. Swerving over left and right lines on I-40, almost rear ending cars in front multiple times. Several drivers, including myself, had to do evasive maneuvers. Driver of the pickup was fiddling with some large dash part instead of looking at road. It was bad. Collision Center employee almost causing several collisions. Heavy speeding, too.Then when the interstate narrowed by one lane, pickup driver raced other drivers needing to merge, blew horn, and flipped them off. Not a good look in a company vehicle.

Came to North Carolina for a brief visit and had an accident. Needed to get my car drivable for the return to Florida and heard that parts were 30-60 days back ordered everywhere. Called Dave Mattison at Michael Jordan collision and he had me come in to take a look at the damage to see what they could do. He had his guys bend the rear panel/wheel well into a safe position, ground down the sharp edges and then went so far as to apply duct tape to the damage to insure that no one would injure themselves on the debris. Then, he contacted the local tire shop and prepared them to replace my right rear tire explaining my situation. At the end, he sent me away with a handshake and no charge expressing his best wishes for our drive home and safety. Amazing customer service and great people at this shop. Even got some good restaurant tips from Stephanie (sp?) at the front desk and I tried the Carolina Honey Mustard wings at Heavenly Buffaloes and was blow away. Best repair shop experience I have ever had. Top notch people!Service: Body & Trim

Michael Jordan Collision is the complete package when it comes to auto repair service. Everyone was very personable and professional. My repairs were handled expeditiously, smoothly and I received my vehicle back in better condition than before my accident. The handled my claim from the moment it was towed to them by initiating contact with me and my insurance, they directed me how to follow up with insurance and even put me in a rental. They got my insurance to cover every minor detail related to my claim and there was not extended charges dropped on my lap when I came to pick up my car. Great Job!! Great people! After a deer hit my car it needed work on the side panel and front windshield. The work needed ended up being a replaced door, new windshield, and paint. The shop had my car for more than 4 months! I would use thier messaging system or call to check in once a week. I very rarely was reached out to first and updated about any progress made. Often times when I reached out I was told he'll get back to me later that day or the following and very rarely did he ever follow up when he said he would. I was told 4 different times that it was being reassigned a new technician. I heard that technicians quite, were on leave, etc. I can't be without a car for that long so I would not return to this collision shop again if ever needed. I would have appreciated more honesty in the process, I never really was told how far along they were and when asking directly he said "I'd say 50% done" then come to find out the windshield and paint hadn't been started. I understand being too busy or waiting on parts but if he had been more straight forward I would have understood or asked to have my car moved to a shop who had space to get it done.Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Auto glass replacement

GPS even with Google Maps takes u to a back gravel road with no access outlet or signs. Even if u do end up finding the location there is no clear signage of what you are supposed to do to get a vehicle in for estimate and repair.

I had a lot of front end damage to my car and I chose Michael Jordan for my repairs. Devon was my estimator. I received amazing service with lots of communication during the service. My car doesn t look like anything s has ever happened and the paint job is spot on/ exact match. Devon was very nice and answered all my questions, opened my hood for an underneath view. I received my car before the eta date that was given and Devon offered accommodations to work my schedule. My car is my baby and I m glad I made the right choice. I m very happy with my entire experience! I don t give positive views easily but this one was well deserved!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

It's hard to find "car guys" who you can trust to give you straight information, quality work, and fair pricing. I've brought 2 of my cars to Michael Jordan Collision Center and have been impressed with their care and communication throughout each process. They put your piece of mind as a priority and call and text to keep you updated. My car was finished ahead of schedule and was sparkling clean when I picked it up. These are my car guys!

Shop was extremely professional and the process was very easy. I dropped the keys off after an initial estimate and was contacted via text by the supervisor later that day to tell me there was additional damage but they were already working on fixing that too. Throughout the process I was kept informed of status updates which kept me from feeling anxious or frustrated by not knowiywhat was happening to my car. Received the car less than a week later and it honestly looked better than when we bought the car. The paint match and the fit and finish were perfect. Not to mention they include a slip of all work done to the car and have a lifetime warranty. I hope to not need collision repair again...but if I do, I don't plan on going anywhere else.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim

After hitting a bear with my brand new 2020 Kia Forte, most of the front end was badly damaged and had parts and pieces missing. Within the same day of it getting to this shop, I had an accurate estimate for when it would be completed. They kept me informed and were very polite and professional throughout the whole thing, even when at the end of repairs we had to wait for my insurance for a few days to make sure payment was all good. Specifically, Chris was the one who worked with me and handled my (many) phone calls, and also talked with my insurance to try to get everything done faster. I genuinely could not be happier with the customer service he provided, as he even offered to stay late one day to wait on my insurance company. The car is like new again, it looks new and drives so well and smooth. Outstanding service 110%.

The collision center staff is extremely professional and very helpful. They made my car look brand new. Five stars for the crew at Michael Jordan Collision Center, and thanks to Devon H for helping us out throughout the whole process, one I was wholly unfamiliar with (dealing with someone else's insurance, having body work done.) He kept us up to date daily on the progress and was very helpful and informative during the process. Someone backed into my wife's car and I set up an appointment to get it fixed here, it took them about two and a half days total from start to finish to replace the fender, repair the door, repair the bumper cover, and paint. The paint blending is perfect, panel fitment is spot on, and the car is actually in better shape than it was before it got backed into. now I just want the rest of the car to look as nice as the right front corner does. I can t thank you guys enough for the excellent work done on my car. I was able to drive my car back home 500+ miles straight with absolutely no issues whatsoever. I have to say I was nervous at first but the work done proved the quality and care given. Thank you for answering all of our questions through the process with dignity and respect as well as the professionalism and the excellence displayed throughout. So easy to work with. Rachel and Josh checked in even after hours. With supply shortages and parts being hard to get my car was out of commission for about 6 weeks.
