From unscheduled to scheduled maintenance, the experience is excellent! I pulled up without an appointment to get air in my tires to resolve the tire light on the dashboard (the symbol looks like an exclamation point inside two parentheses). They discovered a nail in the tire, and brought it in to patch it up. They then discovered another nail was in the tire bent inside near that nail, so I had to replace the tire for safety reasons. After inspecting the tire and nails myself, the head of the second nail was missing and I couldn't see any part of the rest of the nail, nor was it protruding from the inside. The only indicator was a break in the rubber that looked like it was slightly chipped. It was hard to believe, but I trusted Kevin, because it was a few hundred dollars I needed elsewhere. Although I did not expect to be in there that long nor spend that much, I suppose it was worth not ignoring the light should something happen on an upcoming road trip.The staff are responsive, helpful, and exhibited incredible customer service. Great job!

1.I need a regular maintain and I was waiting for so long before the only advisor came to me. The line was too long.But When I came into the waiting room, there were couple staffs was chatting.2.I asked to diagnose my rear seat since it is not reclining and they said I need a spereate appointment.3. Well, I came again with another appointment..again waiting for 30min lines without greeting, and they even not get to you by order, just do whatever order they like.4. I was told to get just diagnostic about my rear seat and cigar lighter for 380...very well..It is not a fixing cost..BTW I just bought from them for what tey call certified vehicle for only 8 months and thing start broken.

The service department is a well oiled machine. Great process for sharing information while services are happening. The reorganization of the waiting area is great for those who need to work while waiting.

Ladies, if you are nervous about getting maintenance done on your car alone, this is THE dealership to go to. My advisor (Andrew W) was so kind and patient and understanding of my situation, and he also made sure the concerns with my vehicle were taken care of. I even told him my car s name is Pumpkin, and from then on he only referred to my car by its name! I felt so appreciated.My tech, Jose, went out of his way to send me a detailed diagnostic video of my vehicle! He explicitly told me what he was doing and exactly how much longer it would take. I ve never had a dealership service drive send me a video of my vehicle it felt like they were holding themselves very highly and accountable and truly understanding that for most of us, ours cars are a big part of our life and deserve respect!I felt truly appreciated and respected here and their treatment of me has gained them a lifelong service customer

These guys have gone a long way to restore my faith in service! As an engineer, I really appreciate customer focused, knowledgeable technicians. From the first interaction with Jason McBride, detailed explanations from the technicians (Mike, Mike, and Mike (really, 3 Mikes)), I was thoroughly impressed with the focus, attention to detail, and professionalism. My Tacoma was repaired and I m 100% happy with Mark Jacobson. Bravo guys!

Organized, efficient and on time. More expensive (in some cases much more expensive) than smaller independent repair and service shops that we commonly use. We were there for warranty service so costs were covered and not an issue this time.

After going here for service appt, I am tempted to never buy another Toyota again, and I have owned them for 17+ years. That bad. The place operates like a factory, no one answers your questions, and they just want to sell you services you don t need to make them extra $$. Appalling service. My Toyota dealer where I bought the car, sadly several hundred miles away, wasn t like this at all. I won t ever go to MJT again will go to Raleigh instead, when MJT is less than a mile from my house.

They could not help with my brakes going to the floor when stopping. I can pump them and bring them to the point they need to be. They feel as though they need bleeding, but I guess people don't do like back in the day.

Went there to sell a Land Cruiser in really excellent condition and low mileage(1994, with 124,000 miles) , They evaluated it and offered me $3,000. New Land cruisers go for $80,000. And they do not have either new or used ones available . This is a really low ball offer. See the photo of the car.

Go here if you want to make an appointment and wait 4 hours for an oil change and state inspection.If you don't, then go literally anywhere else.

I went in for my first time to MJT, for a service interval. Service staff were very courteous and professional. This was a minor interval so not much to do. They appear to be knowledgeable, efficient, and quick. My mechanic was female! Yay! I received a video of her evaluating tires, brakes, fluids, filters, wipers (needed replacement). Less than an hour. Will definitely be back.

Excellent service, our 2021 van just altered us to maintenance needed and since we were in the are we stopped in around 9 without an appointment and they had the van in and out within an hour. Excellent organization and service. We take all our Toyotas to this service center and have had consistent experience.

I was completely satisfied with the quality of the service. Our daughter is a student at UNC and had car trouble. Randy stayed in contact and let me know everything that was happening. I was very impressed at the quality and professionalism.

Like many people I dreaded the thought of having to go through the process of purchasing a new car. The very idea of going place to place, waiting, negotiating, made me shudder. A tremendous stroke of luck brought us to Toyota salesperson Arsanious Ghattas. Both my husband and I agree that Arsanious made the experience the best car event we have ever had. He was honest, respectful, did not waste our time, and so very knowledgeable. Once we made a purchase he onboarded us patiently, making sure we understood all the features before we left the lot. Our careful research has shown us that we got a good price for the car which makes the experience all the better. I was not surprised, but pleased, to see that others writing reviews have had the same good experiences with Arsanious that we did. If you are thinking of going to this dealership I feel confident in saying making an appointment specifically with him would be an excellent choice.

I am located in MD and had a car stuck in durham. Had it towed to this dealership and Adrian was my advisor. Giving him a 5+ start rating for going out of his way to make sure car was located and safe and for helping me get the car right so it can be transfered back to Md. recomend him 100%.

I went in with a problem that started after having a recall matter updated. I was told the 2 problem wasn't associated, later told the problem was fixed and charged for diagnostic tests to be done. The problem was not resolved and they are standing firmly to them not causing the second problem. I don't feel that I was heard and I'm very disappointed that I had to pay for a problem they created and still wasn't able to repair.

BEWARE of HIDDEN CHARGES. I had a Toyota Coupon for my Brakes that Mark Jacobson was kind enough to honor. I am on a budget so I made sure I did my due diligence and called ahead and asked if they would accept it and they said yes. When I arrived at my appointment I made sure I printed out the coupon and made sure again that I asked if they would accept it they said yes. I then confirmed that the total price would be $400 plus tax. I was told by the person checking in my car that was correct. So I go to pick up my car the work had already been done. There was a additional charge of $30 for disposal of brake pads. They had 3 times they could have told me about this, but I was not informed. I asked and was told yes for brake pads tires ect... There is a extra charge. I was not told about this, and I don't want to make a scene in the building. What am I supposed to do, but just bite the bullet. I tried to do my due diligence, but that does not matter. $30 dollars to throw away brake pads is a bit excessive, but if they just would have told me maybe I would not have felt ripped off. The employees were nice and the service was fine it was just very frustrating when you do your due diligence and are not told everything, and then you are left paying the extra money for something that should be included in the service.Service: Brakes

Had an excellent experience start to finish. We were driving in from out of town when our check engine light came on. This service center was able to work us in same day. We were also able to rent a car from them for the day. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and they did a great job of keeping us updated throughout the day. Prices were reasonable, as well. I've been going to Mark Jacobson for 10 years to get my car serviced and the customer service and car care has always been good. I recently had Terrie as a service advisor and he really stood out in terms of his positive energy, professionalism, and the hard work he puts in to providing good customer care. The service team is amazing! They make you feel like you re valued and more than a customer. You re a guest! They take your calls in a timely manner, treat your vehicle like it actually matters to them, and treat you like a friend. Shelby was my shuttle driver the first time I had service and I must say her kindness and willingness to go above and beyond has given me a reason to make Mark Jacobson my service spot indefinitely for my vehicles. Jason M. cared for me at the beginning and was well informed of what s best to do and when to do it! They make taking care of your vehicle personal! That s much appreciated when you see people you ve never met understand and have value for things like they re their own! Forgive me if I don t mention the other members as well as the ones in the back I ve never seen, but this is such a great service team here that you can count on to care! I had a flat on way to an appointment in Chapel Hill. This was the nearest dealership although I was driving a Chrysler. Steve times two, John, Solomon, and their tire manager were each very courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to resolve issue as soon as possible. On top of changing the yore with my spare, they checked pressure in remaining tires and gave us a printed copy of tire rates before making sure we can get to our destination. I met Marc Jacobson prior to his death and want to let his family be aware of the awesome job they've accomplished ! Highly recommend this dealership for any of your needs !

I had a standard oil change at Mark Jacobsen. The service advisor recommended other services like they always do. What I like is that the additional suggested maintenance were things I actually needed. Although I didn't do the maintenance at that time I have done most of it. Honest service advisors are very rare so my experience was refreshing.

I really like the service department here. They treat people fairly and don't upsell me on stuff. Negatives: They do not see as many Saturday walk-ins as they used to as best I can tell and no longer have Sunday hours. Also while the service department may be open until 7, the shuttle is done by 5pm. But really those are my only complaints. Overall they're solid. I keep buying from Mark Jacobson largely because of the service department.

Coming from being a Honda and Lexus owner, I am used to a few things when it comes to service centers. Communication, loaner vehicles, consideration of my time, etc. I wasn't afforded the same service I am used to from those other Durham dealerships today.My mother was diagnosed with dementia in 2017. She passed away in 2020 leaving her 2003 Corolla sitting in the driveway since the diagnosis. Fast forward to May of 2022 and my son is graduating from highschool. This Corolla will be a going away to college gift and the timing was imperative.So when I had it towed to Mark Jacobson I had only one request. CHECK EVERYTHING. Of course a parent wants a fully functional vehicle for his son.So once I was informed of all of the things that needed to be fixed, I asked that they do everything except a few that I planned to do on my own. I arranged a ride and took time out to get driven to the service center.Picking up the vehicle was quick and painless, but I noticed that the car was poorly cleaned. Again, I am used to my vehicles being washed well, at least on the outside. Certainly this one was a bit dirtier than my cars normally are, but nothing a good bit of soap and water couldn't take care of. Still there were patches of pollen and left over debris in areas. There were lots of smears and streaks on the exterior windows. But that wasn't my main issue.The main issue I was highly agitated about was that the AC didn't work. No one had bothered to check the AC after I specifically asked that they check everything. Then when I called during my hot drive home, they put me on hold and stated that AC is not something they normally check. I asked how I was supposed to know that when I asked for EVERYTHING to be checked that their definition of the word differed from the dictionary's definition?So now they asked that I bring it back. I'm strongly considering going elsewhere.
