Mr Francis (the man that owns the business) is a true GEM! He is up front and honest about everything from start to finish! It s hard to find great auto mechanics or shops anymore which leads me too my review, thanks a bunch Mr Francis!

I had the pleasure of finding Francis Auto Care a few years back and boy have they not disappointed! Francis and his family are extremely kind and knowledgeable. I've never felt "swindled" by the shop like you see at a lot of larger auto shops. They have always been honest and helpful in any way they can. Highly recommended.

Best place in Durham to take your vehicle. Prices are fair, time frame from start to finish is excellent. Francis was an amazing help in a very difficult time for my car. His service and team were very understanding and reliable. The experience was fast, my car was finished in a day and a half plus very fair and affordably priced.

I love going here! Francis is very honest and upfront about any work that needs to be done on your car. He also has fair prices for the cost of work that needs to be done. He doesn't rip you off like some of these big name mechanics like Meineke, Firestone, etc. He is great at what he does! You will not regret it!

I needed a mechanic to do a pre-purchase inspection of a used truck I was considering to purchase. I called Francis Auto Care because it was near the meeting place of the purchase and was told there would be no charge. Mr. Francis (not sure if first or last name) took the time to thoroughly inspect the truck and even took it for a test drive. Even though I told him upfront any needed repairs would be done by my local mechanic, he took the time to tell me things that might need to be fixed and the cost of each so I would know how to negotiate the price. He treated me with kindness, as if I was his most important customer. I will not hesitate to take my truck to Francis Auto Care if anything falls through with my local mechanic.

Took my car to him for a 2nd quote on a repair. He was priced better than the competition, got the work done quickly, and was friendly and professional. I will take my car here for future service, no question. Note: the shop doesn't really have a waiting area, etc, so come prepared with a ride from a friend.

Today they were supposed to close at 5pm, we called for an inspection and they told us to come, we arrive at 4:40 and they say they are done doing inspections and shut everything down. 4:40 is not 5pm, they had an entire 20 minutes to get the inspection done. We drove 1.4 hours to come to this location and I do not appreciate their service nor how they talked to us.

If you want to make sure that your car in a good hands, don't go somewhere else..Francis he's the best mechanic in Durham area..I been a customer for more than 2 years so far,and never been satisfied with any autoshop before..

Always very courteous and reliable. I always go there for my inspection. I get in and out and sometimes it's difficult to get in and out, but someone always will assist you.
