I had a flat yesterday, changed it, and arrived at discount tire for a repair around 11am. Pete was kind, caring, and helpful! This is one of the only car repair businesses in the area that I did not feel treated unfairly because I was a woman. The place was busy, but by 3pm I had 4 new tires for a fair price, my spare was replaced in my trunk, and I was on my way. Would recommend to anyone and will return if I ever need to again.

This was the single best experience I have had with auto workers. I was treated with respect, given all information I needed, and wasn't pressured into spending more. The service was incredibly affordable, quick, and solved my tire issues. I am definitely coming back when I need a new set of tires in a few years.

Their website was useful in choosing the best tires for my budget and driving experience. In less than an hour, I selected my tires online which were in stock and had them installed. Great customer service.

I have been a happy customer of this Discount Tire for more than 5 years. The people who work here are incredibly friendly, honest, and professional. You will have the quickest experience by making an appointment, but they still have excellent turn around times for walk-ins. You can expect straightforward service with minimal upsells. It is one of the few car maintenance businesses I fully trust and recommend.Special thanks to Pete for helping me with my flat tire this weekend. He gave next level customer service, and I was back on the road in less than 30 minutes!

Had a slow leak caused by a nail in my tire, and they were able to remove the nail and patch the tire for free, all in under an hour! Have had patch jobs done before but always had to pay, so this was a nice surprise. Will definitely look here first the next time I need tires replaced or serviced.

I installed new tires to my truck on another shop (cheap) I had steering wheel vibration @ 55mph and above. Came in to Discount Tire on Durham Chapel Hill Blvd. They performed a Road Forced Balance and fixed my problem. You want to know the crazy thing? They charged me 0 dollars $ due to they thinking I installed those tires with them. I made them aware I didn t purchase the tires from them and they still sent me on my way without any charge 0$ wow they also calibrated all 4 tires with the right amount of air pressure and put on cabs to all 4 air valves. I came in at 8am. I was out at 8:45am on my way to my job. 3 different tech guys approached me during my visit and made me aware of what they were doing to my truck during my visit. They made me feel a valuable client. No more cheap tires shops for me, coming back to this Discount Tire whenever I need their service. 5 stars for them!

Boy... Cheaters!!. I had scheduled an appointment with this store for tire rotation. I made sure to label my tires with a markers before going. They had me wait 90 mins to rotate tires and at the end of session, I realize that they just jacked up my car, filled air and have NOT Rotated my tires. I wouldn't know it if I had not marked my tires in advance. Absolutely done on purpose to get your tires worn out faster so that you go back to them to buy new ones!!

Just had an amazing, positive experience at the Discount Tire on Durham NC. We needed the tires on our RV serviced and received great customer service from everyone on the team. We were traveling thru NC on our way to Florida and they helped us out when we were in a bind. We can t recommend discount tire and more highly to anyone for tire service.

Discount Tire was amazing as always..I needed lug nuts replaced in order to get my new tires put on at Sam's.. but for some unknown reason And sells tires but don't replace lug nuts(make it make sense) but anyway..I should have bought this from Discount Tire instead.. but they were gracious fast and super courteous... Let me know about things that could be better and I will be back to let them take care of it abs I going some awesome rims I plan to purchase in the future.. THANK YOU DISCOUNT TIRE!

I ve gone to Discount Tire my whole driving life and I ve always been treated very well. I ve never written a review but needed to today because Pete and the guys at the Durham location really go above and beyond. They treated me very well and I watched as they interacted with every customer in the shop today and they couldn t have been more accommodating and helpful. I will be a life long customer.

Decent customer service but I ordered some tires online from Tire Rack to be delivered and installed at this location. Tires were not balanced after installation and my car was shaking so I had to come back with another appointment for a rebalance.After the rebalance I now have 2 lug nuts that don t match the rest of the originals on my car and wasn t made aware by anyone there that something had happened with my original ones.I don t have wheel locks but maybe they broke or maybe they were busy and got misplaced in the shop. Either way won t be going to this location after having to go back multiple times for the thing they re supposed to specialize in.

This was my fourth excellent experience with Discount Tire. Fixed a tire for free with courteous efficient service. I would never go anywhere else if I had another tire problem.

Needed one tire replaced as I was on the road and it popped. They were busy, however, they were able to get me in and out in 20 minutes. Good teamwork!

Came to visit family from out of town. Got a flat tire on a Friday night. Called next morning asking if they could plug tire by noon. Told me to come in and they would see what they could do. Extremely busy on a Saturday morning and said 12 walk ins in front of me plus appointments and hoped they could help by noon. Got a call at 10:45am that plug was put in. Went to pick up and they told me all plugs are free of charge. I would have paid whatever price just to get done. Grade A service and helping someone in need! Thanks Michael and Mitchell for the great service!

Excellent procedures to measure your tires and discuss options. They offer a military discount, a rare offering by most retailers. Professional staff with management close and accessible. Walk-ins take 2nd priority to people with an appointment....I do not appreciate this process. Makes your wait for service surprisingly long because you don't know exactly how long the waiting line/time actually is. Very competitive prices, my goto tire place for over 15 years.

Best company in America! Customer service is second to none. While getting tires this time, I heard the employees help a young woman who bought her tires at a Discount Tire in Colorado. She didn't need a man with her to be treated with respect: that is just a given for all customers. Love this place.

I like to give a special Thank you to these individuals,James ,Hunter,Tristen . These 3 showed nothing but excellent customer service the whole time I was there. The DM should be very proud of this location. I wish that every company offer this kind of experience.

Had a tire emergency. They took me in and put new tires on without an appt. Had to wait � while but really appreciated it. Have been coming to them for years. Nobody can beat their this prices and service. Very friendly too.

I would leave a 0. These people don t know what they re talking about especially the ones at the front desks. Avoid this place at all costs. I got my car fixed for 50$ after getting told i would have to spend about 1,000$.

I ve had nothing but good experiences here. I bought tires from their America s Tire store in California and the warranty carried over to North Carolina.I come here to get air in my tires and also regularly come for tire rotations and balancing. They are always super nice and friendly. I m usually out the door in 45 mins to an hour.There s also some shops nearby if you don t want to wait in the waiting room.I would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend this Discount Tire location! Lucas and the rest of the team were incredibly helpful and patient. I had an incredibly tight schedule, but needed the tire changed soon and, understandably, they also had a very tight schedule. James was able to order my tire overnight so it arrived in less than 24 hours. Then, Lucas was able to call as soon as the tire came in to the shop and arrange for my tire change to be squeezed in. James and Lucas were very patient, as they received several calls from me, and they made it seem that they actually wanted to help. When I came in, Alex was very friendly and helped me check in smoothly. The team in the shop worked incredibly efficiently and did very high quality work. I am very grateful for the outstanding team at 4051 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd in Durham, and will both be returning for all of my tire needs and recommending them to my friends when they have issues!

I've had tires installed for two different cars at this location. Both times they were very professional and did everything they could to be helpful even having one of the installers talk to me about some concerns I had. The only issue I've had both times is the accuracy of their tire pressure settings. Both times the tires were 2 - 4 lbs different than where they said they had set them. I wish they would use a tire gauge to verify the settings.

I had a great experience buying new tires for my 2018 Mazda 3 GT here in January. I'd been shopping prices online with Costco, Tire Rack, the dealership, Midas, etc. Prices were pretty comparable, but this Discount Tire is in a great location, and they offer a 5% military discount for veterans. Thank you so much. Jim B. and the crew here set me up with the Cooper Zeons. Only took a couple of days to get them in and they were on my car in just a few hours. I got a notification in my email and a call from them when my car was ready. I can see why they are so popular. They are really good at what they do. Thanks, again!

Fantastic! Staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requirements. Paid pennies for insurance on my tires, 3 were previously fitted by different company, not discount tire, and low and behold blowout, and they replaced immediately. Awesome!

The services from Discount Tire, I had a schedule appointment at 10:15 am on Saturday morning March 12, 2022.The technician Aurelio T. Perez explained that he would check all Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors (TPMS) and let me know which one is a bad sensor. Aurelio T. Perez was very professional towards me.Aurelio T. Perez treated me with respect. Aurelio T. Perez replaced the bad sensor and replaced my bad windshield wipers, I asked, Aurelio if he would put the old bad sensor in a zip lock bag so I could see what it looked like.I was checking out at 11:35am. I had a very good experience at Discount Tire with the technicians and the pricing of services. Discount Tire also has a area where you can pull up to have your tires air pressure checked by a technician. Thank you!

Fantastic, timely, reasonably priced service in the middle of Christmas rush.I went to this Discount Tire at the recommendation of my AAA car care providers, and had to wait for my mid-month paycheck to replace all four tires. I had not made an appointment, but arrived just before they opened on the Saturday before Christmas. There were already 5 or 6 people waiting outside as well.The team working that morning made quick work through the line of customers and everyone was being attended to. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were not only able to get me in that morning, despite a booked schedule, they had all 4 of my tires in stock, in my budget, so much so that I was also able to replace my wiper blades.If all of that weren t enough, the crew got me in and out of the shop in less than an hour. Thanks so much for a great experience! I will recommend this store to my friends.
