Collision Specialists made it look like nothing ever happened to my car after my accident. I m very grateful and would highly recommend their shop. They did a wonderful job!

I was referred to Collison Specialists by my Volvo dealership after getting in a fender bender in November. They were booked out a few weeks, but I knew that I rather wait for a body shop that came highly recommended as a certified Volvo specialist. I dropped my car off on 12/6 and picked it up on 12/30, as there were delays with the manufacturer for the parts that needed to be replaced- no fault at all of Collision Specialists, as I was also trying to call around to find the same OEM parts, but everywhere was sold out. During the process, they were extremely communicative, professional, and answered every single question I had. When I picked my 2021 XC40 up, it looked brand new again and they did a phenomenal job. I am incredibly happy with the results and could not recommend them enough!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Nice shop. Friendly people. Once car is repaired I can report on that.

My experience mirrors the negative reviews earlier: major and sometimes unjustified changes to the estimate, above-market prices, unsubstantiated claims for work that may or may not have been done, additional damage caused to the car, and poor communication throughout.I thought I might be unreasonably mad with them since I'm personally invested in getting my car fixed promptly and affordably, but when it was all done, even the insurance adjuster (who had worked with them before and has obviously no personal stakes in the game) said that he would no longer recommend anyone to work with them. This place should not be in business.I came in with a run-of-the-mill fender bender, and got a reasonable initial estimate that the insurance was willing to pay for, too. The first surprise was that the final estimate exceed the initial by almost 40%. I anticipated some increase, but a shop with this much experience should be able to eyeball the costs of basic repair much better. But a big part of the increase wasn't the expected "we realized that some more work needs to be done under the surface".One large part of the increase was that they just quietly increased their *hourly rate* for labor, because the insurance wouldn't pay for unreasonable number of hours they billed. They also spent a month wrangling with the insurance company on everything, including their "mistakes" (I'm being generous) of including several items on the estimate more than once (and thus charging for them multiple times), unsubstantiated claims for work that that may or may not have been done, (again--how long have they been getting away with this?), and using a supplier with above-market prices for parts that were confirmed to be readily available from other local and recommended suppliers at insurance-approved market prices. The icing on the cake: they apparently didn't turn the car on even once during the month they had it, and killed the battery. They must have jumped it to deliver it back to the storefront and hand me the keys (and of course they didn't tell me about it.) But the next day I couldn't turn it on. That's going to be another several-hundred-dollars expense for damage they caused on top of paying for their fraudulent "we swear we fixed this although we can't show a thread of evidence for having done the work" bills.

Highly recommended! FIVE STARS for the great service and the additional Five Stars for Andrea who flawlessly coordinated with all, provided timely responses and went on additional miles to repair my car. When I got my car it was clean like new and they cleaned inside the engine area, looking like it came out of the showroom. I had a few minor scratches, fine lines which Andrea helped to fix them. Sweet customer service and professional workmanship. Thanks so much Andrea and the technical team for the great work!!!

I had a great experience!!! My vehicle is as good as new! They even detailed the interior of the vehicle. The staff is extremely professional! Loved the atmosphere! I was greeted warmly the moment I entered the lobby. Although I hope I will notneed to, I would MOST DEFINITELY use their services again. I HIGHLY recommend them. They gave me the lowest estimate compared to other locations.

Very professional and honest. The owner and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The owner is a true business owner who takes pride in his business and it shows in his work and work ethic. I don't want to go to auto body shops because that means my car is wrecked, but if I have to, this is now the only place I'll consider. Excellent work, service and honestly goes a long way and Collision Specialist, Inc. goes the extra mile to satisfy customers!

Why does a mechanic shop need a fancy office and I need a appointment to get my car fixed

Very happy with the work I had done. My car is almost 20 years old and some parts were difficult to find. The technicians in the back had to think outside the box and make what was available fit my car. They did a great job. Everyone in the office was just great.

Less than impressive estimate experience. My vehicle manufacturer is prominently displayed on the website but it turns out they don t work on the brand. The estimators were friendly and still gave an opinion on what they thought might need to be done. I did some research on my own and what they said was a way over the top in terms of the actual work that needed to be done for a high quality repair.

We took our car in because of mismatched color of the back fender by another company. From the beginning of our visit to the end, and from the staff to the paint job itself we could not have been more pleased. Everyone was very accommodating and in the end we could not tell that the car was not all original paint. It was a superior job!! We would recommend this company to any one.

They were fantastic. I called to see if they had any last-second time slots to give me an estimate (after another nearby collision center gave me an extremely high estimate without even looking at the issue). Within 45 minutes, they d fit me in, looked at my problem, given me an estimate, performed extra inspections for safety, and fixed a safety-related issue so my wife could drive it in the meantime without worrying. When I tried to pay them for the on-the-spot safety repair they made, they wouldn t let me. (Wanting to repay them somehow is part of why I m leaving this review.) Anyways, these guys know what they re doing, are honest, and will bend over backwards to help you.

I couldn't be more happy with the results I got at Collision Specialists.I had a dent in my rear quarter-panel on my BMW E39 from a parking lot mishap. They did such a fantastic repair that the car looked much better after the repair than it did before the dent was made. They even did several other minor repairs for free. The turn-around time was very short. The body-man/owner, Curley, is a perfectionist with decades of experience. He is wholly honest and cares more about doing the job right than making a buck. He is more of an old-world craftsman than a modern-day businessman. He wanted to redo a part of the repairfor no charge because he was unhappy with the way it turned out. I thought it was perfect the way it was and could not see what he was talking about. I refused because to me it would have been a waste of time, but to him, it was important. He also communicates very well and is easy to work with.

I just visited this facility to get a check/estimate on small scratches from ice scrapers. I was very paranoid because it was a brand-new car. I stopped by without an appointment but the staffs still welcomed me and helped me out on my needs. The technician took an immediate look at the problem and told me that luckily, the scratches are quite minor/light and easy fixes with buffing off. The technician said that he could just do it for me and then fixed it right away, at no cost. The car looked like it never had a scratch. This really told me that people here are doing the fair game, that they don't try to trick you or overprice their service. Next time if I ever have to go through body repair (although I really should avoid getting into a collision :D), I will definitely choose them. Thanks a lot, you really made my day.

Unfortunately, this was the worst repair experience I have had to date. There were so many issues that just shouldn t happen, from the details to best practices. After the fact, the shop did not go out of their way to show this is not how they normally do business.First off, the positives: The paintwork that was done was well matched and the bodywork was as good as new. I didn t get at all what I had agreed to when I brought the car in, but what was done was in fact done well. The shop is new construction, clean and inviting, and the staff are friendly. The issues: To start, the car was rained in on the driver s side, sour and soaked through in the floor mat (window left down) and moist in the seat. I had to let the car sit and air out for three days. The paint was dulled all over when I picked it up. It had swirl marks (fine scratches) all over, in both the old paint and the freshly painted surfaces, caused by sloppy car washes from the shop. It just plain doesn t shine as well as it did before. Undoing this is going to take several hours of polishing (or a few hundred dollars worth of detailing), and a shop that does paintwork simply has to do better.More fundamentally, however, the shop majorly changed the work order without getting my agreement. The bumper needed to be replaced, to avoid painting over some other minor areas of damage and making them worse. That would involve extra expense on my part, which I was prepared to do as to avoid the needless expense of re-doing the whole thing later. However, the shop decided on their own to just repair it despite the written work order stating otherwise, and painted over the fractures in the bumper making them even more visible.Much of this comes down to the front staff - between the lead estimator and the service representative - repeatedly dropping the ball and lacking organization. They hadn t prepared for my appointment, as they never even ordered the replacement bumper, and never reached out to request a parts deposit. Therefore, my car is dropped-off and in the shop, expecting a bumper that isn t there at all. This was compounded by the shop losing my phone number at some point after drop-off, despite them having successfully reached me before-hand and having left two numbers. I figured out in 2 minutes afterwards that they had simply transcribed it wrong to a new version of the work order. It was clear the front staff did not make much effort to reach out to me before deciding themselves to change my work order. Quite simply, this is 101. While the front staff are warm and friendly, their organization is sloppy and their best practices are lacking.Afterwards: While mistakes happen and everything is not always perfect, as a top-rated (supposedly) shop, I did expect them to at least take the car back and show me this is not how they normally do business. I spoke with the owner in person, but only after front staff didn t call me back (and bizarrely still didn t have the right number). The shop owner later ignored my emails for nearly 2 weeks. Quite frankly, the whole experience left a really poor taste and has been a total headache. In summary: I was surprised when I dropped off the car how many others were being worked on at the same time. The shop seems like an assembly line, clearly on a tight schedule, but at the expense of cutting corners. The paintwork that was done was very well matched and the bodywork was excellent, though I didn t get what I had agreed to when dropping off the car, and the shop has repeatedly deflected their responsibility. Add in the water in the car and the dulled paint all over, and the car looked better when I dropped it off than when I picked it up. I would not recommend CSI.Edit: If I refused to replace the bumper, then the shop would have written a new estimate, but there is none. I had a witness present at pick-up and drop-off to confirm. Someone at CSI is covering their butt(s). Car soaked. Scratches in their new paint. Come on.

Came into the shop with a needed repair did the estimate on a Thursday brought my car back that following Monday had my car back on Wendesday. Freindly helpful and professional. The work is great car looks better then before I took it in. Would highly recommend them for any major or minor collision repairs. After getting my car back I noticed that my bumper wasn't fully attached at the top took it back serveral times and had the car most of the day one side seems find but, when looking at the pother side noticed that the inner trim was not inside the frame like it was suppose to be and upper bumper is still not attached. I will fix it myself. I suggest to always examine work done on your car. Because of this I can't give them 5 stars.

Very helpful people. They were able to knock my misaligned bumper back in place and remove a few scratches. Quick and easy work but didn't charge me a penny! Will be back if I ever need work done on my car.

I was involved in a fender bender that left my tail-light smashed and my bumper severely dented. Brought to them and they did a stellar job. Good service and quick response time to e-mails, and they fixed up my car so that you can't even tell anything had happened to it.

If your car has some collision damage, PLS GO HERE WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT.These guys are literally the best!! I went to them after some suspension damage and they took care of everything!! Really honest, down to earth folks, who GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP YOU OUT!The owner Curley is very easy to work with, super understanding and took all the trouble to help me out with my car problems. My insurance would not cover the damages, and Curley helped bring down the cost by getting some second hand parts (instead of brand new ones which would have brought up the cost), and made my car road-ready, which is all I needed. So very very grateful!

Collision Specialists did a great job on my daughter's car after she detached part of the bumper backing into a stone wall. It is good as new. The front office folks are great, and Curley is a true expert back in the shop.

After getting a self inflicted dent and scratch on my truck, I was referred to CSI by two different friends. Although I deferred a full repair of the damage with the associated cost of filing an insurance claim, CSI was extremely gracious and still touched up my vehicle for free in order that it would not rust or face any issues in the intermediate. That was extremely generous, because I know that most places would require payment even for this work. It is great to know that there are people out there are still willing to help! I will return here once I am ready to fully fix my vehicle, and will refer anyone else who needs work done as well.

Kind, lovely people who did some simple repair work for me and didn't charge me. Granted it was probably really easy to do, but "car tape" was no longer working, and plenty of other places would have charged me for it. I will absolutely come back here for any body work I need done in the future.

CSI is the best and does top quality work at a great and fair price. They repaired my older car after another shop did nothing for weeks. CSI was prompt, kept me informed, and even detailed and cleaned my car. It looks like new and drives great. You will be glad you took your car to CSI. Thank you, Curly and everyone at CSI.

A car bumped my Honda Civic in a grocery store parking lot, denting the corner of my bumper. I went to the shop and talked with Jason. They were able to push the bumper back in place (it just snapped in) and push out 95% of the dent -- and didn't charge me anything. There was no damage underneath the bumper. That is service that can't be beat!
