Good place to get your car parts and make sure sign up for their coupon program save some money cuz everything so expensive now this place are easy in and out very helpful good customers service also them able to help change wipers specially for the lady s or elderly unable to do it the staffs can help out no charge are required highly recommended

Not nice at all. Sitting outside for 5 mins waiting on my husband to come out from buying some tools. Guy comes out and tells me no loitering. Been walking so we can get parts to fix our van. This happened at dallas location not Belmont.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I came here after my battery died and needed a jump from my insurance. Get here, and the guy charged me a $240, and me being a woman that clearly didn t know anything about cars and panicked because I didn t want to be stranded in the dark because they were closing soon, got ripped off. I found later there s many cheaper options elsewhere. He never offered to charge it or anything. When I said something about the price he said, oh yeah, batteries went up . I could ve got it for $100+ cheaper somewhere else. It s 2023, I can t believe you still need a man to come with you to auto shops/stores not to get ripped off. Well Advanced auto parts at least. Be careful ladies.

Very cleaned,organized, friendly atmosphere. Guys and ladies are nice but could step up their game a little on smiling and greetings sometimes feeling can be off depends what days you go in here lol overall great place & smart people with dash of spice! prefer this store over other parts stores!

I never have a good experience at this location. The first bad experience is when they tested my battery and said it wasn't the battery and that I needed a new alternator and he was trying hard to convince me to buy one of there's! Lol! My women's intuition knew he was full of it so I took it to my mechanic. Well my mechanic said it's the battery. Mind you, it was an advance auto battery and still had a warranty. My mechanic gave me a new battery and I had no more issues. Even he said they was trying to get one over on me because I'm a woman! I knew that! Any other time I go in there looking for a part, they are always out of stock and try to sell me the most expensive parts they have. It sure is funny that the website says you have the part in stock, but no longer have it or can't find it? Yea right! Ladies beware!

Dakota was great , friendly and helpful and got my battery in my suburban in 5 min and I give this store 100% rating they are excellent and he made sure everything was working right before I left. Thanks Advance Auto Parts for hiring people that know what s going on with my car and A big Thanks Again to Dakota. It was 20 degrees outside I m pleased

The employee I dealt with at the Dallas location Advance Auto Parts was very knowledgeable and helpful. He helped me resolve the issue I visited for & went beyond what I expected while providing helpful advice that a couple other Auto part stores didn't want to help with. Great store & very knowledgeable and helpful customer service/care.Thank you;Justin M.

I had to get a battery for my car, this young guy took out my old battery and put in the new one. He was awesome he worked hard to get my battery out, corrosion on the battery made it very difficult.

Sunday morning September 4th this is absolutely unbelievable waited at the cash register for over 15 minutes just for somebody to check me out one man and it looks like I was bothering him just being there what a terrible way to run a business no wonder everything's failing today help is hard to find but you just don't have to hire anybody

Keep also take pictures of your receipt because their system for your records is terrible with hopes of getting you to pay for a part that you already have a warranty on.

Do NOT rush to get here before they close, it's a waste of time. I raced there and pulled in about five till nine and the doors were locked.An employee wouldn't even make an exception knowing I had to have the part for a work truck the next morning. I had to go about 15, 20 mins further out of the way to one that closed an hour later.

First time in this Advance Auto Parts store. To me they all are pretty much the same regardless of where you go. Like any chain store it's the people inside (employees) that make the difference. It's them that wait on you, they order the merchandise in products, then keep the shelves stocked. It's them that answer your questions and either understand what a doohickey and thingamajig is or they look at you like you just landed from outer space. They too are the ones that install that new battery or wiper blades. They also have that magical box they plug into your vehicle to explain why that "check engine" light won't turn off.For my quick trip in here they had what I needed and were able to help me without making me feel like my favorite Martian.

Our car needed some oil so we stopped here. Had issues getting the oil cap off. Travis came and helped us as the cap broke and was being difficult coming off. He even got tools out of his truck to help us out. Give Travis a raise and thanks so much for all the help.

They have parts for vehicles for the diy mechanics, but the staff isn't always the friendliest or knowledgeable. Prices are usually competitive, the shelves are usually stocked, but if you don't know the scientific factory name for your part, do research before you go because they only know what the computer tells them, and it only knows what you know...

Went in a couple months ago for a battery check and possibly a replace on my diesel, which has two batteries. So I go in and ask tell the guy at the counter that I want a battery check, and he jokes with his female manager about her making him always check batteries. She asked if it was diesel, and I made a little joke about her having do his job twice because of the dual batteries. No chuckle, or even a response, but this was not a big deal to me. She rolls her little cart with the tester, as well as her tools, to the front of my truck without a word, and I even held the door her her. I popped my hood, and shortly after doing so, she sharply asked what the cable attached directly to my battery was for, which I had running a CB radio at the time. I replied, and she still did not respond, nod, or even look at me. At this point, I'm not really aggravated, but certainly aware of her sharpness. She then began trying to get the battery terminals off, exemplifying her incompetence of using tools. I tried to make conversation by saying stuff like "looks a little bigger", and "almost the right size." Still nothing. She worked with it for about 2 or 3 more minutes, finally giving up and moving to the other side to try her luck with it. I was standing in front of MY truck, and she threw her tools in her bag and moved the cart in a rough manner around me, clearly showing her rudeness. When she starts working on the battery again, I suggest a different wrench size to her and she blatantly says "That's what I have sir". At this point, I'm exceedingly pissed, and I tell her that she's done, and she hadn't even loosened either terminal. She fired back by saying that "I was in her way." I kindly replied by telling her who the vehicle's owner was, and informing that I wasn't going to take sass from an auto parts store employee. Perhaps she didn't like a man giving her advice with something she didn't know about? I then headed down the street, about 500 feet, to autozone, where the gentleman took one minute to remove the cables, and another to test the battery, without sass and even with some character. Honestly, I purchase a lot of auto parts, and use either napa or autozone anymore, and I can assure you that there is no reason to buy from advance since autozone is right down the street. Autozane employees appear to be more knowledgeable, professional, and polite than their neighbors at advance. So, if you enjoy good customer service, I would recommend avoiding this store.

Incompetent. Associates unknowledgeable. They sent me away with my brakes grinding. No offer of a solution. Refused my offer. Fortunately Auto Zone was next door. Disappointed in myself for expecting those fools at Advanced to have it together. Duh..lesson learned

I bought some mid-grade headlights, but they charged me for the most expensive set they carry.I can't say with certainty they did this on purpose, but it sure does seem convenient for them that the error was in their favor.

Not happy when u call them some don't have the care attitude and there's one guy when u call he's rude and everything not mentioning names but t ha I do not like and they don't do the Rewards Card like AutoZone does and their prices are way higher and that guy he will hang up if like u don't order anything and u wanna check Price or something after u say oh okay that's all needed to know he hangs right up with asking is there anything else u need or help with nothing and that's why i just quite going I rather go AutoZone I get points for everything over $20.00 dollars when u collect up to 5 points u get $20.00 dollars on a card and can spend it on anything u want in any AutoZone no-one else I've seen does that but them so ill be sticking with them .

Not very helpful service. Employees couldn't answer any common knowledge questions. I knew the answers, just wanted to test them. I recommend hiring people who have that basic automotive knowledge.

I was getting my battery checked(there is two batteries) and the lady(manager) started yelling over me standing there.She had the wrong size wrench.They arent nice and dont deliver friendly service

Their fan belt measuring tool was broke, so they guessed at it and was wrong size.... Went back, same thing..... Went to one in another town and guess what? Same thing, wrong size....went to autozone once got right size.... Forget Advance for fan belts, 3 wasted trips....

Refused to give a refund for unused item said only have 45 days even thought it was NOT written on My receipt said it should of been but was not!!!!! Extremely RUDE!!!! After reading other reviews I see they are very RUDE! Will go Auto Zone from now on!
