This is an amazing beach rental company! Piper and Eric were funny and very helpful. They had bikes, golf carts, and scooters. They even had helmets that were included with our scooter rental. We wanted to take our young boys on the scooters with us and they gave us helmets for them too. They really cared about the safety of us and my boys, making sure we don't take them on unless we were very comfortable riding and safe. I would definitely recommend this company and if you want a golf cart, book way in advance because every rental company sells out. The little scooter I rented went up to 35-40 and it was not often I wanted to even go faster than that. My husband got the bigger scooter and it went about same speed.

Excellent service! The bikes were delivered and picked up as scheduled. We rented two bikes, for my wife and me. It would be nice if large frames were available. I am six feet tall and could of used a 21" frame, instead of the 19" frame that was delivered. Also, both bikes had mounts on the bikes; however, no water bottle cages were attached. It would have been nice to be able to have water bottles on our rides.

We had a wonderful experience! Eric helped get us set up with bikes even after the shop had just closed. He was quick to help us fix 2 flat tires and was very kind. We will be renting our bikes from here next time!

Our golf cart was waiting for us, was fully charged - everything we have grown to expect while vacationing in the OBX. What was not expected was having my daughter leave her wallet on the dash of the cart the night before we left. We had left very early and made it all the way to Delaware when we got a call from David saying he found her wallet and not to worry they would mail it back to us. She s a new driver so her brand new license was there, her debit card, some cash - she would ve been frantic when we got home and she didn t know where it was. They went over and above with their customer service, honesty and kindness and for that they will always have my business!

Golf cart was there at house when we arrived, fully charged, as promised. Realized the first evening the headlights weren t working. I sent a text to the number provided the next morning, they came that day and had the issue fixed quickly and we were good to go the rest of the week! Highly recommend, and cheaper than other golf cart rentals in the area! Thanks for helping to make our vacation in OBX awesome!!

Cart was ready when we arrived, we used it a lot and never ran out of gas. Cars stayed parked most of the week (except for longer trips) and, it's more fun to go in the golf cart! Highly recommended.

Great experience! The service was exceptional, bikes delivered timely and picked up as scheduled. The bikes were great too and we used them quite a bit this trip!!

Good 4 person gas powered golf cart. No operational issues and it got us where we needed to go the entire week. The only suggestion we have is for there to be some sort of paperwork indicating your company and what to do should we run out of gas. Ours was not a street safe cart, so we just assumed the company would bring us gas if we ran out? The other issue without paperwork or any logos on the cart was we weren t sure we claimed the right one at the house. Two carts were rented by two different families from two different rental companies. We had no idea which was which since theirs came without logos or paperwork. Other than that, all good!

For tourists visiting the Outer Banks, I highly recommend this company. Here's why. The company kept us informed on delivery of our beach rental equipment. And they were extremely helpful when we had an issue with our golf cart.

First we rented two standard six seat golf carts. These should be listed as below standard as they were some of the oldest and rickety carts I ve ever rented. Gas cart stopped working with a day and a half left and was never fixed leaving a family of 12 shuffling with a car to the beach which made last day miserable. Lady of the phone we spoke to cared more about having a conversation with someone else in the office that getting our correct information.

Kenny and Eric came to the rescue for our family today - and we are so thankful for the great service we received! We had a one of a kind bike emergency (my wife s dress got stuck in the gears!) - and the team was able to help us out and get us all fixed up. Much appreciated!

Booked online, bikes were delivered early AM and we enjoyed them all week. Left bikes when we checked out, and they came to pick them up. Can't get easier than that!

Bikes were already at the beach house when we arrived! Had fun riding the bikes to Corolla Adventure Park, the Beer Garden, and Currituck Lighthouse.

First time using OBX Beach Toys in Corolla. Couldn't be happier with the service. Rented a 4 seater golf cart, it was dropped off Saturday and waiting (charged up too). Cart was in great shape and my crew all said it was the highlight of the trip having such a great cart to get around in. I will definitely be using them next year when I get back down to Corolla.

The group we rented with rented 2 six seater golf carts Saturday to Saturday. When we arrived to our rental, only one cart was there with keys in it.Worried that our other cart was taken, we immediately called. The gentleman we spoke to said he was not sure why only one was dropped off and that we would get a hold of driver and call us back. He did not call us back. We called again with no answer so we left a messageSometime on Sunday from 8-10 am the other cart was delivered. It was very dirty and was not charged. On Monday we called and spoke to Andrea She was very rude. She told us that our contract said that they could deliver any time which is not the case, they had 8 am to 8pm on Saturday. She also said that it not her fault that no one called us back and that it was dirty and not charged because people did not take care of things. Mind you they charge 75 dollars if the cart is not fully charged. Also we were told they were street legal which it does not have turn signals horn etc. she would only refund 12 hours,although we missed an entire day

The only reason a five was not given is the bikes would be great if a basket was added. Overall, the experience was nice. They drop off and pick up which is very convenient.

WOW!! What service!! Was cordially greeted by one of their bike techs, Piper. Can't say enough good about our experience! Piper was AWESOME! Bikes were on display for us to see. Piper was right on mark asking how she could help us. And got us going for our 4bike rental. No pressure either! Just cool, calm, cordially customer service! With a splash of sense of humor, which we appreciated! Not to mention Piper worked her "magic" with the point of sale and had us on our way in no time! Piper & OBX Beach Toys Rocks!!Part 2: Superb customer service from a tech named Eric too! Our chain popped off and we had to bring our bike back right at closing the next day. Although they were closing, Eric was apologetic and assured us "no problem" & took great care of us! We were back on the road, hassle free in minutes!! Thank you Eric! OBX Beach Toy's Piper & Eric have won us over for our future OBX bike rentals!!

Called, Said they were open. Get there, open sign on, doors locked. Called, no answer. Cars in parking lot. It was before 4:30, supposed to close at 5. Hugely disappointed my 10 year old after her bike tire popped.Edit to add: we were renting a new bike because her tire was popped.

Ordered 2 bikes at 11am to be delivered to our rental for same day delivery. I called to ask when they would be delivered and the girl did not give me an answer because they do deliveries throughout the day, but the bikes never showed. Called again the next morning 10 minutes after they opened to ask and the guy chuckled and said we didn't ordered them in time or the delivery stopped because of the rain even though it was sprinkling then said they would be here today and hung up. Unprofessional staff is a key here, if they do not show up today then hopefully i can get my $140 back that they took out of my account as soon as I booked them. Theres no source of communication that states deliveries stop if it rains, light or heavy. If you want to rent here, do not do delivery just go get them yourself.

We had a lot of fun renting one of the scoot coups! Drove it up to the Currituck lighthouse, got some smoothies, and took it through some communities to look at the houses! We felt so silly in the little scooter with our helmets on. And my favorite part was all the people smiling, laughing, and waving at us as we passed them! The staff was also very friendly and gave us a good tutorial before setting off.

The golf cart we rented was already outside the house when we arrived and we just left it on the driveway before we left. It was very easy and convenient.
