I had them replace my front sway bar links on my Acura ILX. They were courteous and professional and charged me a fair and honest price based on the other quotes I d gotten. I would use them for future repairs.

I called to schedule an oil change. I told them I had a coupon for the oil change and the year, make and model of my car. The day off the appointment after they had my car for about 15 mins, someone came to tell me that the coupon they give out is not valid for my car and it will be full price. Really annoyed that they didn't tell me that when I made the appointment.

Very nice staff. Always kind and honest. Was given their name as a referral from my trusted mechanic of 20 years! If Graham recommends something I Always listen! Definetly a great place to take your car!

Went to A and B Automotive because my father has been going there for six years. They quoted me $614 on an oil change and tune up (spark plug change). I got a quote for hundreds less from the dealership and they wouldn t match the price. The manager was very rude and said the dealership was lying about their pricing. Never going to A and B Automotive ever again.Services: Auto maintenance, Oil change

Mike was amazing! He fit us into his schedule the next day and was very upfront and honest with what he recommended. We went and got my car checked out at one of those franchise car repair shops before his to be told we needed all this extra stuff done for a crazy price, so we decided to take it here and Mike and his employees were completely honest and did not try and sell us all these unnecessary repairs. His repair was very reasonable and did not break the bank. We even asked him what he thought our car may need to get done in the near future because previous auto repair shops always said how my car could use this and that done to it, but Mike said our car was in good condition and just to come back to get fluids/oil etc. changed. Amazing amazing amazing!! We will forever use A&b auto repair!! Thank you Mike to you and your staff!

I needed a few services done all at once and decided to shop around. The bigger dealership where I normally got my car serviced had tried to convince me to get a brake fluid flush 5,000 miles ago, so I asked A & B to check on it this time around. Not only was I nowhere near needing that service done, but A & B was able to do the regular service and inspection much more cheaply than the dealership. All told, I saved over $200 by avoiding an unnecessary procedure and based on the lower rates for the regular service I had done.Relatively quick, good rates, and most importantly for me, trustworthiness and honesty about what I did or didn t need done. I plan to take my vehicle back next time.

My Grandmother used A&B automotive for years and referred me to them. For the first year I used them starting in 2019 I was really impressed and happy with the service even though they are more on the expensive side. Recently in the last year or so they have a new younger guy who runs the front along with Jeremy and ever since they put him up there I have lost trust for this place. He is very un professional and rude and has them closing earlier then usual. They finished my car up from having it the whole day to do an oil change, change two tires and an alignment at 3:15 p.m and told me they are closing at 4:00 p.m. every website says they are open 8:00-5:00 and I have had a days work done before where I had to pick up before 5:00. Considering I have to have somebody drive me to pick up my car this is & was extremity inconvenient and stressful. I also paid $600 in a previous service to fix my power steering. Their fix worked for one week then stopped working again and they tell me it will be another $550 to fix something else they didn t know was wrong with it when they diagnosed it the first time. Extremely unhappy with my service here and how down hill it has gone. I will not be returning to A&B automotive. God bless.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Me and my family have been taking our vehicles to Mike for years never had a problem always polite and never takes advantage of anyone , My job takes vehicles here also, never been ripped off or over charged for work I have a 2014 Bmw they do my oil changes and everything on never paid over $120 for an oil change in it. I also have 2 charger that have had work done always a fair price and they let you know UPFRONT how much everything will be so your Not surprised!

I hate even giving this place a one star I ve taken my BMW, 05, to have oil changed and AC looked at. The AC price was extreme!! Then they told me how much my oil change was, 242$!! For an oil change!! I phoned the BMW place in Denver, they charge 127$ for the exact same thing, same oil and all!! At the dealership!! I call this place back and was very upset for them ripping us off. A Mike Gordon the phone a cussed me!! Then he called me back and added 120$ more, then called back and said bring me cash or you can t have your car!!!Please be aware, not good people that runs this!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Moved from MA to NC! A&B was recommended to me through the internet! A&B has done superb work on my vehicle! The 2003 corolla runs magnificently! Repairs are accomplished only when needed! Delighted with A&B for their honesty, excellent work, and always being kind to all! Great service and going the extra 9 yards for the customer!

I have been taking my vehicles to A&B since they opened their doors nearly 25 years ago. Trust in a service garage is hard to come by. Obviously, I trust Mike and his team to the utmost. I certainly recommend A&B...you might find better prices, but you won't find a more honest and diligent owner anywhere in the area.

This is the place to go for good service! The staff is friendly and they do great work. I've been going here for over 5 years and have never had a bad experience. And they've kept my 2000 Chevy with over 260,000 miles running like a top! I would recommend A & B Automotive to everyone!

This place is great. On a super busy day, a two hour wait I believe, they helped me immediately with what I needed and was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and quick. They squeezed me in with a speedy fixed problem and they did not have to. A mechanic even took time away from another job to help me and I couldn't be happier with their service. I will definitely be coming back to A & B Automotive & Tire Center, Cornelius, NC!!!!

I found Mike on Google while looking for an independent, local small business to take care of my Mazda. I told him that I needed an oil change and whatever "the works" was given I had just rolled past 40,000 on the odometer. He gave me his honest opinion that the wear on my tires wasn't wasn't enough to warrant a rotation and my next recommended preventative maintenance was spark plugs at 60,000 miles. They changed my oil quickly and I can guarantee that his honesty will guarantee him a customer life.

Mike, the manager told me to come get my d*** car when he told me I was being charged $240 for a 05 BMW oil change and I told him he was ripping me off. I had asked him to look at my AC, which he added on $120, just for looking ( didn't even put the caps back on it), when I called him back to tell him THE BMW DEALERSHIP CHARGES 120$, A&B CHARGES 240!! THEN MIKE, THE OWNER, QUOTED ME 2000$ TO FIX THE A/C, GOT IT FIXED BY A MOBILE PROFESSIONAL FOR 300$. Guys PM me if you'd like his name!!Me and my sick husband just moved here to be closer to his specialist at CMC. This was the first time I've done business with someone, Mike knew my circumstances, BUT RIPPED ME OFF ANYWAY, CUSSED ME, THEN LIED ABOUT ME CUSSING HIM AND SAYING AWFUL THINGS TO HIM AS A NURSE. THEN GOD BLESS??HOW CAN A HUMAN BE SO EVIL??PEOPLE JUST MAKE A COUPLE CALLS TO SEE WHOS PRICES ARE BEST BEFORE YOU GO TO THIS MAN OR PLACE! HE DOESNT REPRESENT CORNELIUS OR A HUMAN BEING VERY WELL!!Also, you can't leave a review on his website without it going through Mike for approval first! That's the only reason he has stars! AND WHY DOES HE ALWAYS WANT CASH??? HUMM?? I ASKED MR. EARL, WAITING ON HIS RESPONSE .

The service a this location is fantastic. The owner is hands on and speaks with his customers to get to know them and appreciates their business. Give A&B a try and I am sure you will be satisfied with the service.I have been using them for almost 20 years.

After seeking and obtaining recommendations from several friends, we tried a few different places, but settled on, and recently became customers of A & B Automotive & Tire Center. They are fair and honest and attentive to my concerns, and they treat my mother and I with respect, which is of the utmost importance to me.Thank you to the Hoovers and Danielle Ratliff for the recommendation!

Six stars! I have been going here for a couple of years and I have not found its equal in the Charlotte area. Service is paramount and the crew is highly experienced. We just moved away from the area (an hour drive south) but we will continue to have our vehicles serviced at A&B Automotive!

I give them no stars ( but had to give at least 1 to post)... Took our daughters car in because the engine light was on and they said that they needed to change the oil (which she had that done 2 months ago) but they said there was no oil in it, (hard to believe now looking back at how it all played out) said she needed 2 new tires, an alignment. We went ahead and trusted in him and had it all done. Picked up the car and 2 minutes down the road the engine light came on! That was the whole reason we took the car in! The car is shaking now when it wasn't before the new tires and the alignment. Took it back next day after paying a nice 1200 bill and told them about the light and they said there was nothing they could do we would have to take it to the dealership for that problem. So what I get out of this is that they knew what the problem was in the beginning but so that they could make some money decided to tell us it needed an oil change. I am highly upset with this place and hope that anyone who reads this that they keep in mind when and if you go to this A & B Automotive & Tire Center what I have written.

Towed my Audi in unannounced with a bad CV joint. They got me right in and in about 5 hours I was on the road again. Price to fix was very reasonable. Would recommend A&B to anyone with a distressed vehicle.
