I really don t know what has happened with this company? The lack of care for their customers is beyond frustrating! From trying to call and make an appointment/ or see if they can even get the wheel you are looking for or going in to the store in person it s like they all have different things going on besides anything to do with you or this business!!!! Maybe it s a front idk. What I do know is if you are looking for wheels or tires I would recommend a different place this is not the same Punchy s it was a few years ago I honestly would be scared to leave my car in their hands at this point

Im at a loss for words at how consistently bad this place is. I have a long bed super duty Ford so there's not a ton of places around that have a big alignment rack to use, but punchy's does, however they don't know how to do alignments in the first place. I've been here twice for an alignment, the first time was a free alignment because they did a whack job balancing my new rims and tires. The second time was after I had installed a whole new steering assembly, center link, tie rods, and upper and lower ball joints. So you'd think the alignment would be setting me pretty straight on the road, nope. Can't even go over 70 with a solid vibration, also the truck pulls pretty decently to the right. Avoid these bums at all cost.

My old man just got replacement tires on his 3500 Turbo Diesel Ram work truck. The first set was bought here and this is the second set. Pricey but a man knows what he wants and Punchy s usually has it!

Telephone call put on hold by female attendant and never came back. C/S has gotten really bad. Others i know have had the same problem.

I want to Thank Mike, I was sent over to Punches by Dodge in Concord. Dodge in Concord ordered tire and rims for me. However they couldn't get the tires installed on the rim. Randy informed me to take my tire to Punches they will put them on for me. So I take my tires over to Punches to get them on. Mike informed me he couldn't put them on because I bought some other place. I get it and don't blame him one bit. I just was sent there by Randy. Randy said he called them. So went back to dodge they also messed up the rims I ordered. I talked with Mike, he ordered tires & rims for me on Tuesday. I had tires and rims installed on Wed. Mike went above and beyond for me. Plus free tire rotation & balance for life of tires. Not at Dodge they wanted to charge me $99.00. Plus Punches was spot on with there price actually they beat Concord Dodge. Don't think twice call Mike tell him Ernie sent you. Thank You Mike & TeamUpdate, I was told free tire rotation and balance. Well called today they said $25.00 per tire to balance. So there you have it. From 5 Star to 3.another update, tried calling yesterday was on hold for 13 minutes. Got passed around. My son doesn't like Punchies I understand why. I think the only one there who gets customer service is Mike. Even the ladies are rude at the office. Speak say hi good morning how can I help you with a smile goes a long way. So can't say I will go back. If I do will be with Mike only.

This was my 3rd time getting an alignment with them. Their price is good, but their customer service is not. I had to approach the window about my vehicle being ready after an hour and she told me 10 minutes. 45 minutes later I approached again, and no one was to be found. When someone told her I was waiting, she asked if she could help me... I asked her about the status of my vehicle. She looked around and saw my keys and paperwork. Who knows how long it had been ready! They are not rude by any means, but really not centered on their customers. I won't be returning.

As a single mom every penny I make and spend counts. This place may be busy but they are 1000% worth the wait. The mechanics are honest and never try to make "repairs" to things that don't need repairing just because im a woman and wont know any better. I never have a problem with my car after they've worked on it and they are reasonably priced. After a slew of bad mechanics trying to sell unnecessary repairs, I will ONLY come to punchys for my maintenance and repairs.

Apparently not interested in doing buisness. I called because of a messed up rim, I wanted new ones, salesman just kept referring me to someone to fix my current rim without letting me get a word in to say I want new rims for my car, if I had wanted repair I would have called a rim repair shop. I guess another shop gets my buisness and my money.

If I could rate them a zero I would. Went into store to buy wheels and tires and walked around for 30 minutes asked for help and they said be right with you and then waited another 15 minutes and left. I guess they don t need my business

The accompanying picture shows a tire purchased at punchy's 18 months ago. The vehicle had less than 8000 Miles on the tire. Punchy perform the last alignment on this vehicle. According to them the severe where can be attributed to not rotating the tires. I may have been born at night but it wasn't last night this group of people are liars. Any warranty or guarantee that they offer is totally worthless do not take them at their word.

Bought tires for 2 vechilrs back in January everytime I call to rotate they say you don t need an appointment then when you call or go in they are too busy. I tried to support a longtime local business and it is a very expensive mistake lesson learned.

You are wondering why 1 Star. I'll keep it simple. When walking into a retail business, especially one where you can drop several thousand dollars real quick, you expect and deserve to be recognized. Not even a good morning, how may I help you, anything I can help you find, etc etc. I walked around their showroom looking at the rims they had to display to get some ideas for my street legal dune buggy. Was in the store approximately 10 mins realizing that anyone there had absolutely no desire to assist me in anyway shape or form. I did check out the reviews prior to visiting Punchys and I have to say now I understand those many recent negative reviews. Extremely poor business practices.Will go elsewhere

My friend and I went to buy new tires and I decided to do the alignment, which ended up being a very bad idea. They told me that my suspension was badly damaged.When i came and pick my truck i got to my job and my friend told me that my tires looked all crooked, I took photos and sent them to Mike and he told me to bring it back and the mechanic said that why check it if he had left it 100% when he finaly checked it, he said that they had not looked at other parts damaged and well for all this they never communicated with me until I called to ask after i pick my truck it was still the same and I came back like 3 more times and their mechanic only said that it was fine in the end I decided to go to another mechanic who ended up doing everything that they supposedly had fixed already it was very bad service and not to mention that my friend had his airbags exploded there and they said that they were not resposable for it if i could put no 's i wouldn't but well i ended up paying doble because o this shop

Punchy Whitaker and his staff are always ready to help their customers. They have experienced mechanics who complete repairs in a timely manner. Punchy cares about our community and provides service in a fair and equitable manner.

Excellent service. I found a razor blade in my tire last night and needed to get a new tire this morning due appointments that I have to be at this afternoon. Every shop I called couldn't get me in until later today or tomorrow. I called Punchy whitakers and talked to Mike explained everything to him and he got me right in and out. The price was less than what I was expecting to pay. Every one I spoke to while I was there was very nice.

TRUST the reviews!!! The reviews about them being super slow is CORRECT. I even asked if it would be more than an hour and still ended up waiting 2 hours to get one tire put on. I'm only giving a 3 because I appreciate Robbie finding me a decent tire & installing it. He was GREAT!!! They had 4 dudes at the front desk, maybe they should use 2 of them to do some work. People will pay for convenience!!! Saving people much needed time is CONVENIENT!!!

Would be an excellent tire store if anyone would actually quote anything. Everytime i call i get a rude answer from some young lady and when i ask for anything its " let me get a salesman" and thus begins the eternal hold music. Currently on hold with them now, going on 15 minutes.

These guys are the greatest! Such super service and down to earth guys. Ray Johnson was such a great guy and took the time to explain to me about wheel sizes and pros and cons etc. I can't believe how I was in and out of there in an hour with 4 new wheels and tires! Great price too. We have used them before and always a great experience.

I purchased new tires and wheels and free rotation came with them. Was told it was first come first serve when they open so I stood outside as they open and told them I needed my tires rotated. I was told that it was going to be three or four hours before they could get to me even though I was second in line. Just seems like since I wasn t actually paying for them they did not have time for me. And to me that is unacceptable

My wife and I recently purchased wheels and tires for her Jeep. We received excellent customer service from Stuart and the team. We are very happy with the wheels and tires. This would be a 5 Star review but they would not take a credit card over the phone to pay for the deposit. We ended up making 3 trips instead of 2. Thank you.

These guys are on a bad streak with me now... The previous time I tried using this business for tire service I ordered a tire they didn't have in stock & never heard back from them when it came in for installation... Whatever... But this time, I drove over an hour and a half to their location when they notified me a tire I needed was delivered to them... I then waited over 2 hours while seemingly no work was being performed by anyone in the shop to be told they ordered the wrong size tire... Unreal, 2+ hours to be told they don't have the right tire... Put a used tire on my car & sent me on my way... I doubt I'll ever use this company again... This day in age when you have multiple businesses to choose from to do the same work, good customer service is a MUST... I'll never let someone burn me a 3rd time

awesome experience, awesome place!called, set up an appointment... brought my truck in.. they replaced the tires(mount and balance, full brake job, alignment and all.in and out in less than 3 hours!!the other reviews talking about long waits.. are all from walk ins... first come first serve.. if you don't want to wait.. you need to make an appointment.five stars! awesome business, awesome employees, awesome experience.would refer to anyone I know.thanks guys

Came in last Friday evening late needing emergency brake service on my old Dodge truck. The other places that I stopped at wouldn't help me. The young Whitaker fellow at the counter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and was willing to help me out on a Friday evening when everyone else wouldn't. Within minutes he verified that parts were available and in less than 10 min my truck was in the shop being worked on. They identified the problem, resolved the issues and we were on our way in less than 45 min tops. The price was more than fair and I'll certainly be coming back to do business with an honest and fair business like this. Great job!

My family bought three sets of tires here in the past couple months. My father swore by this place back in the day and 30 years ago it was quite a different experience buying tires or getting your free rotations done in a timely manner. Punchy Whitaker ran it and you always got good prices and when you needed to come back for a rotation it wasn't excuses at the front desk as to why they couldn't in a timely manner. Not only do they now charge the highest prices in Concord for a set of tires but you can count on them not giving you good service afterwards in a reasonable, timely manner. My family has bought every set of tires we needed here for over 40 yearsAfter our last experiences here we will be taking our business elsewhere in the future.

Very courteous and helpful. I tried two other tire stores before I went to Punchy Whitaker's and got out of the ballpark quotes. Punchy was fair and quick. I was in and out within an hour. I will definitely drive the extra distance again for all my car service needs.

Usually takes a minute or two to have a salesperson come your way (mainly because they're so busy,) but when they do get a free minute, these guys know exactly what they're doing. They're always willing to help you out and get you the stuff you need and how much it'll cost. Their prices are reasonable as well.

The Loco burger is awesome. Very friendly staff especially Sherry. Breakfast served all day. They close at 2:00 Monday through Saturday.

Quote on tires was marked up considerably higher than other tire stores and then would not install the tires i brought because I did not purchase them from Punchys.I needed to update this review with a second. My experience hasn t gotten any better. I had a roadside emergency today and asked if this BUSINESS would help my family and I by installing a tire that I already own on my rim that had a blowout. They again told me it was their policy that I had to buy a tire from them in order to have it installed because it was a LIABILITY! Are you kidding me!!?? There is no way a person can hold a tire store liable for a flat or a collision for installing a tire at the customers request. And if there were a possible liability, it could simply be solved by having a liability waiver. This is simply another form of businesses screwing the consumer by trying to force them in an emergency situation to spend more unnecessary money so that they can further profit. I am absolutely stunned that this local business that thrives because of its surrounding community would refuse a return customer service in a time of need just because I don t need to purchase their overpriced inventory. I would gladly pay for the service and labor if it were extended toward me, but because I didn t NEED to buy any of their inventory they refused me service. Shady as hell! That s all I have to say. Terrible, shady policy and Whitaker s wheel and tire should be ashamed! Greedy people

My boyfriend and I visited there about a week ago. I had been having a tire leak air slowly for the past couple of months and was tired of dealing with it. It was my passenger front tire. We went there, and I just wanted to have all my tires looked at while we were there in case I needed new ones while I was there. They showed us the used tire I wanted to put on the front passenger side in hopes to fix the leaking problem. They said they rest of the tires were fine. We left that day and by that night the same passenger side front tire was going flat again and did go flat the next day. My boyfriend took my car back up there today to get it rechecked, and they claimed they put the used tire on the drivers' side front. That was not what I asked for.On top of that, they said my other tires were fine when we visited the first time, but now the same tire that has been leaking air for the past couple of months suddenly has a nail in it. Personally, the tire probably had the nail in it all along, and they didn't take the time to listen to what I wanted the first time I was there. I would have replaced every tire they said was bad, but I don't even think they took the time to check them. Not to mention, some of the workers there smelled like weed just overall lousy experience. I will be taking my business somewhere else next time.

These reviews made me laugh. Ive been here several times and so have alot of locals I know. This a great family business that does not jack prices way up compared to sone others. I have always had fair labor, friendliness and honesty here. Yes, they are a busy shop, but if they are so bad, why would they be so busy ? This shop has been super nice to me and my children when I have been there and would definately recommend anyone going there. They changed tires on my very expensive wheels and I couldnt even tell they touched them. As a mechanic, I also appreciate them setting the pressure back to exactly where I had it when I brought it in. The labor and parts prices are better than competitive. If you think they have wronged you, I'm pretty sure you are to blame and thats the gods honest truth right there. Thanks for the job well done Punchys !!!
