AMP Automotive is outstanding. John really knows cars. They are honest, efficient and do excellent quality work. I would recommend AMP before going to car dealers service. And most of all the one who is the backbone is Ashley. She is the secretary who is fabulous with scheduling and a fantastic person who also knows about cars. Thanks AMP and Ashley.

John is a wonderful guy and a great mechanic. I completely trust him with my cars and I'm glad I found him after moving to the area. He prices his products and services very reasonably and loves doing what he does! His diagnosis has always been on point and he will tell you if he found something during his check-up that may not need to be urgently addressed. His innate goodness shines through in his trade of choice. Keep on going strong, buddy!

The amazing reviews are 100% spot on. They re honest people in the car repair business which is as easy to find as as a G D Unicorn. I do most of my own car repairs but there are some things I can t do by myself. I can confirm that he does great work for a very reasonable price without the BS.

When I moved to the area 3 years ago, I was recommended to go to AMP...the best mechanics I've ever had. Just like the other reviews say, so honest, never jacking up the price, excellent work... and I'm from up North too. Love them!!!

Awesome experience. John and his father are the most honest car mechanics I met.John is a good and intelligent man. If he knows the work, he will quote you with the best price. If not, he will simply recommend to go to another place and admits that he doesn't know.I took my car 3-4 times here with different problems and after checking they told me it's not actually what I thought but something else which can be less expensive.They were hesitant to charge me for normal check ups and opinions.Man these people are nice. If you don't know any mechanics and want one, I highly recommend John!!!Keep it up man.

John and his dad are the most honest, thorough and competent mechanics I have ever dealt with. This is a small shop so you need to plan ahead since they are always busy.

John and his dad "Pops" are some of the most honest, good guys you'll meet in the business. We take all our company vehicles there and he always can do the work for half of the dealerships. He's pretty good about getting you in and out IF you have an appointment. Has never steered us wrong. Al;ways satisfied with the work. If I didn't have a husband who was handy and fixed all our stuff, my own cars would be coming here! Thanks John :)

John is the real deal - I've never left a google review before. He's honest (I've taken my car to him more than once and been told "don't worry about it for now" when he could have taken my money), and capable. Highly recommend.

My engine light came on a few days ago and I stopped at an auto supply store to get the code(s). There were 8 and I kinda freaked. I called Amp Automotive on the high recommendation of my best friend, who takes her vehicles there. Called and spoke with the owner John this morning and was able to bring my 2008 Honda Odyssey in this afternoon. He saw my codes and said "Wow, that's a lot of codes... Ok let me put my machine on and let's find out what's going on". 1 spark plug and the coil later my vehicle checks out and is running like a dream. The thing that sold me on John was when he said "let's fix the obvious problem first, then recheck to see if any of these other codes come back"...None did (so far and hopefully not any time soon). He could've very easily went off what my paper said from the auto supply store. But he didn't and I paid a fraction of what I would have at just about any other place. If you want honesty, integrity and really good work done on your vehicle, John is the man to go to. I'm so grateful I found Amp Automotive through my friends. Thank you John!! Update 2023...I had an oil leak but it wasn't showing up like a normal leak. Took it to Amp Automotive and John said "I think you're leaking from a few places." The most obvious was the variable timing valve and he said he was going to replace that one and take another look. Long story short I picked my van up the next morning. No other leak showing but he told me to come by in a couple of weeks and look everything again. I went yesterday and everything was perfect. He's honest and knows his craft so well. I trust him completely.

The most honest and friendly automotive care. We have lived here for 13 years and they are our first choice for all our automotive needs. They never try to upscale or offer more work than what is asked of them. The price is always so fair and the quality is the best. Needed starter installed and checked numerous places for pricing. I remembered a friend had recommended them so I called and got the job done for a very good and reasonable price. Also met Mike and his son John and daughter Angela. They are great people and I cannot thank them and recommend them enough.

John is absolutely great and trustworthy. If you ever need an oil change, inspection, & mechanical work you need to see him! He is great to his customers & takes care of them 100%! Super satisfied with all work that I have had done there!!!

When you own an older car, you need an honest mechanic, and John is one you can trust in my experience. He may come across as a little gruff at first, but he stands behind his work, gives very reasonable estimates and doesn't try to upsell with unnecessary repairs.

Down to earth good people. Knowledgeable and don't gouge the consumer. Went in for nosie complaint coming from brakes, it ended up being the chrome cap cover. They said don't worry about paying, just come back next time when something needs fixed! I will definitely be coming back. Thanks to John and his awesome family!

Amp Auto is a great place to take your car/truck for work. Its so hard to find an honest mechanic. With John and the guys at Amp you wont have to worry about that at all. I took my truck there for a tuneup and some other work to be done. When i went to pick it up the guys showed me my old parts and explained everything they had done. I was really impressed with the work they did and how honest the service was. I have been ripped off before by mechanics wanting to change parts that dont need to be and have also paid for new parts and then found out the part was never even changed out. At Amp i completely trust their word and their work.I have taken my truck there and cars of other family members and each experience has been awesome. I highly recommend AMP Automotive. I am impressed!! My car had a gas leak and smelled of gas. When driving it was twitching occasionally. I took it to AMP Automotive. The owner took it for a ride with me and then looked at it thoroughly . Although , he found nothing wrong with it but I am impressed with the honesty of this guy. He did not take a penny from me; Just asked me to drive it and keep a watch on things. He suspected engine misfire but would wait for the Check engine light to come before doing anything with the car.I found a good place to take my vehicles for everything. These guys have earned another Happy customer!! Thank you so Much!!

Always my fav go to person when ever I had an issue with my car. Although I don t know much about cars John helps with the necessary service at reasonable prices. Highly recommend them.
