I had my check engine light pop on the day before I needed to make a 8 hour road trip. I called Meineke first thing in the morning and Denny the store manager advised they would diagnose the issue and could make the repair in the same day. I received an update within 2 hours of dropping off my car, and I approved the repair. The process was smooth, the repair was cost effective, and Denny was fantastic!

I had to get my tires rotate & fluids check for a trip. Mathew did a very good job letting me no how much it will cost. Plus they check my jeep all over, told me about other things that will needs my attention at a later date. Thanks so much will be returning.

My experience at Meineke Car Care Center in Clayton, NC was excellent. I had some extensive repairs done on my car and I am truly satisfied. My one comment that I wouldn't even call negative would be they told me my car would be ready before 12noon (I leave for work at 12:30) and it wasn't......but they did give me a loaner vehicle which I was really impressed with. Denny and Jay were excellent and very personal. My wife was satisfied with how she was treated when she picked the vehicle up, so you know that makes me satisfied even more. I will definitely return there. Actually I hope this becomes my place for all my automobile repairs. I give them a strong recommendation!Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

I was satisfied and pleased with courtesy and diagnosis of vehicle. The only thing was I paid for repairs before the vehicle was ready; therefore, giving more attention to details of vehicle would be helpful. Thank you. I will return.

Had a great experience! Had an appointment for state inspection and was taken care of immediately. I appreciate not being coerced to add on anything extra, I did need a new air filter. I got a detailed text report showing the whole diagnostic results. The waiting room lounge was well stocked & comfortable and the front desk attendant was friendly and personable!

They were great. I was there for an inspection so I didn t need a ton of help. Specifically I witnessed an interaction between technician Jason and another elderly customer. She was sharing some personal info and he was so kind and understanding. He helped her do the math to figure out how much her social security checks added up to to see if she could afford the repairs she needed. He was so patient and thorough explaining things. He told her to ask to talk to him if she needed anything or had questions. He was just so so kind and it was clear he truly cared about her. Nice waiting room complementary drinks and toys for kids, as for the price I would absolutely not recommend. I was from our if town and I feel they targeted me. Charged me $500 for brakes and on my bill the brakes were $55 for front and $55 for back. Wish I'd have went somewhere else

Excellent service! Work completed in a timely manner and done right at fair price on my daughters pick up truck! Front desk attendant very professional, friendly and helpful! Given diagnostic of maintenance / repair needed as I suspected, nothing more! Was impressed and took wifes car in for routine maintenace! Had very good experience with that as well. An added surprise was the waiting room. Clean, well stocked with snacks,drinks, TV and even a Foosball table! Definitely will be back!

The folks at Meinke jumped through hoops to help get 4 new tires for my pickup. Their focus on customer service was excellent. I recommend them highly.

Great at working to show what is being experienced with my vehicle. Excellent mechanic to customer help.Went in because of starting issues with my truck. They took me on a ride to experience the vehicle and things that I mentioned. Came back to the shop and did a quick diagnostic. Gave me a bit of info on the parts that may need to be done. Next day was a message on parts, easily called and they provided ample information and why. There was no oh and type stuff. Third day I had my truck back. Excellent work! Highly would recommend. And I drove from Goldsboro in.

I recently relocated to Clayton, NC and asked my mechanic in Maryland if he had any recommendations. He told me to try my local meineke and I did. Was pleased with the professionalism and exceptional customer service. I cannot remember the guy s name but he gave me a few recommendations for preventative care. I made an appointment for the service and I didn t feel pressured like most places do. If you are not bringing your vehicle to meineke, then you re not getting the service you deserve.

I can t say enough good things about this particular location. I went in for my brakes and after a thorough inspection and talking things over with Jason Frey, we decided to get everything done in one day. Jason is not only an amazing person but he really explained the repairs and why they are needed. He was absolutely friendly, and while dealing with us he was handling several other issues but I never felt ignored or neglected during our interaction.Jason made sure my car was ready that day and that I left happy. Big shoutout to Jason and his team for making this a great experience!!!!! I will definitely be using them going forward!!

Jason the service manager is the only reason this isn't a one-star review because he has been very responsive and helpful. This location fixed my brakes but when I left there was a new intermittent noise on passenger front side that wasn't there before. I was heavily reassured that it was a rear driver caliper (why didn't they see that before?) and was charged to replace it. Drove off, the sound was still there. I had to go out of town that day so Jason sent me to a different location for a diagnosis. That mechanic actually rode around in the car with me to locate the sound. He said it was definitely passenger front (like I told the Clayton location) either a strut or the edge of my hood scraping as it was misaligned.Luckily I received a full refund for the caliper but the time and headache of dealing with this in the first place still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. 2 stars is "I disliked it" which is accurate.

Wanted me to replace all my injectors even though they were brand new. They did not test any injectors before making this recommendation. Their parts prices are 5x more than what you can find yourself. Do yourself a favor and find a trustworthy mechanic somewhere else.

Called a week ahead of time to set appointment. The 3500 Sprinter in question is a work truck and Meineke was listed as one of the choices for a repair shop. Asked them if they do diagnostic work for a check engine light on a diesel when I made the appointment. They said yes.After diagnosing the issue, Meineke management declined to replace the faulty egr valve and suggested that I take the vehicle to the dealership for the repair. Not happy.

People were knowledgeable and professional. Got in the next afternoon. Price $60 more expensive than other places but didn t have to wait. Price too steep for convenience. Absolutely outraged at the nearly $8 service fee for using my credit card!!!

I went to Meineke for an oil change, tire rotation and a second opinion on some other work.Oil change & rotation are easy. The additional assessment was much appreciated. It was determined I definitely did not need control arm replacement ($1200) but did need an axel seal (much less expensive). The works seems to have been satisfactorily done.The only complaint I had was that they left drivers floor mat ladden with grease/oil. I called it to the manager's attention. He looked at the mat and said "totally unacceptable " and is cleaning it.I'm satisfied.

Very friendly and knowledgeable people. I have never had a problem with them. They are pricey but I will keep using them because they are quick, friendly, knowledgeable.

You have to make reservations to get an oil change. I had to call them from the inside of the establishment for someone to know I was there. But the gentleman was very nice and apologetic he couldn t help. Heads up just call ahead there for busy.

I m not going here anymore - the last couple of times I ve been told work was completed that was never actually done. I don t appreciate being charged for work that s not done. Not to mention that the last time I went the guy totally ignored me to flirt with a customer for several minutes until she finally said do you want to help her? , and it didn t get any better from there. So unprofessional.

The staff at Meineke are professional, polite, and courteous. The store is clean and tidy; in addition, there are cold refreshments. After your service is completed, you will receive a printout with any recommended services that are needed for your vehicle. Furthermore, there are several payment options available, as well as occasional discounts and rewards. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here!
