Good honest, hard-working folks up here. Made the best out of my bad situation and fast. Got my truck back on the road at a fair price in a quick turnaround. If you take your vehicle here you re in good hands thanks guys.

Everyone that works at this shop is top notch. I ve brought my car here for random things over the years and they ve always been super friendly, they give you their honest opinion that they feel is best, do great work, and they do it at a fair price. I had my car towed in an hour before close and they gave it a look over before they closed up. The Cleveland community is very lucky to have this crew!

My truck suddenly stopped working and had all kinds of error icons and messages flashing on the dashboard. AAA towed it to Brian s Auto Repair, who quickly diagnosed the issue. They notified me of what was going on, that they had the part in stock, and quoted me how much it would be. By end of day, they had my truck ready to go! When I picked it up, the staff was kind, answered my questions, and back on the road I went. I was really pleased that the price was exactly what I was quoted (some places I ve been to previously have tried to add hidden fees/charges). Their honesty and integrity will keep me coming back as a repeat customer! Thank you to Brian & his amazing team for quality work!

Friendly, informative, and polite. They explain everything and give you the chance to make your own decision about needed work. I have never had any problems from any repair they have done for me. I have never taken my truck to anyone else

Brian's is an excellent shop. Great service with a friendly staff. We have been fortunate with our vehicles over the years not needing repairs, but will trust Brian's over the dealerships any day. No fix is too big or too small.

I spent 4k on my car to be fixed. Everyone seemed nice. I went ahead and trusted them and put my grandmothers car in to be fixed as well. 30 min down the road and my car cuts off in the middle of the road!! I called these fools and they told me I had to call a tow truck or MY triple A to get my car towed back to them. After I spent $4,000 for it to be fixed. Y all got me all the way messed up! Please, Please do NOT waste your hard earned money hereEdit** my ac wasn t working when I used it the first time! I had to go back again, they claimed to fix it, I was charged for a brake inspection they passed me yet my car was squealing and scrubbing when I braked! Again after spending 4 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!?!!!.. they claimed to repair the supposed brand new air compressor, that was leaking. I took my car to another shop to get my brakes repaired and I told them how my car was still not fixed.. they fixed my brakes and while my car was lifted showed me how my second new air compressor was leaking!!! They welded my exhaust pipe and it was also leaking! These people really took advantage of me!

Brian's Auto Repair tried to rip me off big-time because they thought I was ignorant.. Don't go there. I did the repair myself in four hours in my driveway . They wanted over a thousand dollars on the estimate for just labor and didn't mentioned the whole complete job. I brought them in the parts so no time would have been spent sourcing anything .The total bologna they handed me is why I made this review/warning to others. It's not an honest operation at all. They charge for hours they don't work and they'll cross sell you services that you don't need. This is the worst possible place to bring your vehicle. Part of the estimate was an easy spark plug job. I did it in an hour. They wanted $285 from me to install plugs that I provided. $35 was added because I have ac.I never had any issue screwing in any spark plug from the ac. Do yourself a favor and stay far from this place. They will take you to the cleaners. I can't afford to be ripped off by a shop who's full of themselves with their claims of experience. Beware.

Great local auto service. Most common comment people make is honest and that s the truth. Wish every local business was like this!

Extremely helpful, quick, friendly, and trustworthy! They understood my budget and helped me save a lot of money on a simple repair when I originally thought my radiator needed to be replaced!

Really, really wanted to like this place. Was recommended by a family friend, personally I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you know exactly what you need. Originally brought car in for code "random misfire on all cylinders", was told it is my mods (car ran fine on mods for months) or my spark plugs (just had new oem plugs put in so this tells me they didn't look at them), but "it must be something small and I shouldn't worry because the misfire count is low" (upon googling I learned that the random misfire on all cylinders does not mean you are actually misfiring at all). The car drove terrible and it has continued to get worse.Came back in for a vibration at highway speeds, told them I saw a tear in my drivers CV boot. Person on the phone told me a tear in CV boot wouldn't cause vibration. Brought it in, get a call saying I need both CV axles and their only option is OEM costing over $1k for the job. Decided to bring in my own (from a known brand called DTA) and saved about 800 in parts. Had them installed, was told they confirmed no more shake. Got on the highway and the shake was just as bad the next day. Went under the car to check if the new axles were okay, and immediately saw a ton of oil leaking from my filter housing. I can't blame the leak on them (I hadn't seen it in a bit), but it was the first thing I saw after getting under it. Found out I was down to 2 quarts of oil, so not only do they not do courtesy checks here, but they blatantly ignored all the oil seeping out from the filter housing.

We are new to the area and my battery died. Brian's Garage REALLY stepped up to bat at closing time and took care of our car! They definitely get all our business! Two years after our initial visit, Brian's continues to take excellent care of our vehicles. Customer service is excellent!

Friendly honest service. This shop has been here for many years, and for good reason. The owner and tech are very friendly and helpful. Pricing is reasonable, and it is locally owned.

They take care of your car quickly and professionally. You definitely get what you pay for. The service is top notch and repairs are done right the first time, plus you don't have to wait a long time to get your vehicle back. Very efficient! I had to take a star away as my truck was recently there and they did not put the flooring back as it was when it arrived. A little disappointed. They are a little pricey as well.Service: Engine repair

Another GREAT recommendation from Nextdoor!!The service I received was professional, they were through and everything was explained. Initially, my issue could not be found, but like most shops, they didn t just send me away. David allowed me to drive him up and down the street until the issue presented itself.I really appreciated their teamwork. Before running diagnostics via a machine, the technicians discussed my issue and concluded they were unable to assist. The issue was beyond what they perform and their equipment. They referred me elsewhere instead of giving me the run-around or fixing things they know aren t broken.I highly recommend this business.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I was filled with worry when my husband called me to pick him up due to his car breaking down on I-40. We had it taken to an unmentioned Auto shop that quoted us $1600 for the work needed, and that came with a $200 diagnostics charge. I felt burdened to say the least! So I checked Nextdoor to see who had the best recommendations. Brian s Auto Repair did not disappoint, they took us the next day and saved us soooo much money and stress!! They were prompt and professional. These days, it s stressful to get anything for a fair price. We are new to the area and it feels good to have this kind of service near by.

These guys are great. I m new to the area and needed a trustworthy mechanic and these guys are awesome while other shops weren t telling me one thing I brought my vehicle here and they fix it right up. It turns out the piece was fine. I found a home here

I was really surprised! Brian's is a hidden gem. I thought my tires were bad and they confirmed they're fine, but it drove better after they had it. They adjusted pressure and weights, no charge. They've done work several times on my and my Mom's cars. Each time they were less expensive than anticipated, faster than they said, and had chances to upsell me without me really knowing and they didn't. Honest, fast, not expensive. Like a dream come true.My only criticism is the smoking in the office. It's very smoky and at least one person smokes (smoked? Maybe they'll quit?) in the office, next to the no smoking sign. Bleah.Services: Auto engine tuning, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

2016 Chevy Trax was throwing a lean code had an appointment for Thursday but wasn t able to drop off then so I dropped it off on the Monday before. When I tell you this crew knocked it out of the park. I was updated that Tuesday of the diagnosis and the part needed and had a good to go vehicle Wednesday before lunch. Quick effective mechanics and great customer service from the service writers. Will use/recommend this shop every time. ThanksService: Engine repair

So far, I have had a brake job and an alternator replacement on my Ridgeline. Brian's staff is efficient, friendly and courteous and it has been a pleasure doing business with them, regardless of the nuisance of dealing with car care issues. I am completely happy with the work that has been done so far and will be coming back as a new repeat customer. Brian's saved me over 75% on a brake job diagnosis/estimate from another shady car care company here in Clayton. I would definitely get a second diagnosis with Brian's before accepting anyone else's diagnosis/estimate.

I have been using Brian's for about 3 years. These guys have taken care of me wonderfully. At one point I had taken my Toyota Sienna to another shop and was quoted around 3500$ for a dozen different services. I took the quotes to Brian's and they separated the pile into Need, Will Need, Would be nice, and Rip Off. Then quoted me at almost half the cost. Since then he has taken care of more than 5 of my vehicles. As I type, my Suburban is with them (spur of the moment break down) and I trust them completely enough to not question what they tell me--not that it would matter if I did, when it comes to cars, "I put keys in and they go" is about the extent of my knowledge. David has been my go to and is amazing. I can't say enough about the workers at Brian's.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Battery

Brian's Auto EXCEEDED expectations! They did excellent work, fast, with no appointment same day I came in. Jim was super helpful accommodating my schedule needs. Last but certainly NOT least, their labor costs are reasonable and even a little less by comparison to other equally certified shops in the area that I called. They really did a fantastic job on all three of my services yesterday! Awesome team all around, at Brian's Auto Repair in Clayton! Special thanks to Jim and Brooke.

They are a good bunch and will try and help you out. Just becareful with the bill and specify if you do or don't want something done to your car. They spent 30 minutes fixing a handle I didn't want fixed because I was going to sell it anyways after a check up. They didn't force me to pay for it and left it fixed since they didn't have to spend anything for the parts. Keep up the good work

Since moving to the Cleveland area 2 years ago from NYC I had to find places for services that I could trust. One of those services is for my vehicle. I tried two other places and was less than impressed, not only by the service, but also by the way I was treated, before going to Brian's and haven't gone anywhere since. The service I received here has been stellar and reasonable.I highly recommend Brian's for your automotive service needs.

Brian's Auto has great service! You get friendly service whether you call or walk in, they are up front and honest about everything, and have reasonable prices. They never try to oversell, in fact they will let you know if something does not need to be done yet, such as brakes still have wear left.

These folks are great to work with. We have older cars so we used this shop a few times. Timely and friendly. Rates seem on-par with other shops in the area.
