This was a great experience the office mgr Johnny was just a pleasure to talk to and he explained everything that they did and what would be needed in the future! I will definitely tell my friends about this shop! And the other workers were so into doing the job all u could say was hi! Great people at this branch!

I left my job and got a nail in my tire and pulled into Woodie's to see if it could be repaired or if they could put my spare tire on. Johnnie was working the desk and he was very helpful. Him and his team got to work quickly and put the spare on as the tire couldn't be patched. They were very friendly people and would def recommend them.

They replaced our popped tire while it was very early in the morning after a red eye flight, and did it fast and had a very nice lounge to relax in, and the man in the front was kind and understanding. This is one of the best service places I've been to! :)

POOR COMMUNICATION. I dropped my car off for a simple diagnosic, on a Wednesday. They took my phone number and email. Didn't hear anything back. A week later I received an email saying my car will be towed if I don't pick it up. I called back up there and they said I couldn't be reached by phone(they took the wrong number down). Fast forward. I arranged for the pick up and notified woodies the tow truck driver couldn't make it until after they closed. I asked for the key to be left in the car and was told it would be done. I get a call from the tow truck driver telling me the key wasn't in the car. I called woodies the next day and asked about the key. They said it was still there. I informed them, I was told the key would be left in the car for pick up. I was then told "nobody told me". POOR COMMUNICATION! Icing on the cake, I was threatened with having my car towed to the impound lot at my expense during this whole ordeal of "Woodies Miscommunication". In this case the customer did everything right and was still treated as if I were the one causing the mishaps. @Woodies if you're constantly failing on your end with communication, don't threaten your customers with towing their cars away at their expense. It's poor business practice.

Woodie's Auto Service & Repair is the best! I recently had my Transmission fluid, Steering Wheel fluid, Engine Fuel Cleaning and Engine Oil Change getting ready for Winter. I had a 2005 Honda Accord LX. My old car always needs tender professional care. And I am so glad Woodie's Auto Service & Repairs is located in my neighborhood. Excellent work!

I hit something and there was a horrible noise coming from underneath. I stopped in without an appt and they took care of me right away. 20 minutes later and I was on my way! Very nice people!

After I had taken my truck to Walmart for a special discount oil change and waiting for over and hour, a young man came out and told me that they declined to do my oil change. Reason being, they thought that the screwbolt for the oil pan was stripped. I Googled Woodie's Auto Service and there happened to be one right nearby my location. The parking area was absolutely jam packed with vehicles. I went inside and spoke to a lady named Amy and explained to her what I had been told. She said that it wouldn't be any problem at all. She told me to head up the hill and too ask for Pedro and that he would take care of me. That was and understatement, if there ever was one. Pedro and his crew went over my entire truck like it was for a Nascar driver. From start to finish; Amy was fantastic as was Pedro and the rest of his crew. Much appreciated. Oil and oil filter changed. They topped off all the fluids, and checked the air pressure in my tires. Printed off things that need to be taken care of at next visit.

Lifesavers!! We had a nail and showed up last minute and may I had a 3 hour drive back home. Without hesitation they took care of us no questions asked! The look I had this weekend I owe them a big thank you and I really appreciate the business! Please check them out if local or visiting!

Our car broke down at the Charlotte airport after a long day of travel. We live in Raleigh so were looking to get it fixed and on the road as soon as possible. Greg was able to help us get a tow and got the car running super quick and we were able to get on the road the same day! We appreciate the quick and efficient service after a series of unfortunate events!

The easiest way to provide great service is to manage expectations. An hour to fix a flat? Don't tell me about 20 minutes and 40 minutes later you tell me it'll be another 15 minutes or so. That tells me you hadn't even started. If you can't get to it quickly, just say so. Let me make an informed decision. An hour of my time is mine to do with as I choose.I got my keys back and went somewhere else.

The guys there are great. I took my car in on a Saturday. They took care of everything. I was very happy with my experience. Now they are servicing my 2014 custom lifted dodge ram. Great service. Parts was a little pricey. I did price checks at various auto part stores and O'Reilly does price match. Labor is whew. Maybe women need to start lobbying in Raleigh to get prices posted like required in hair salons. I know it's said the labor is what cost. So if my car was finished within say 3 hours? If mechanic hourly pay is lets assume $58 an hour. Just want business to stop the madness.

Ran over a nail right before I needed to leave town so I went to Woodie s with no appointment. Was quoted a price up front and a 1 hour estimate and was out the door within the hour for the quoted price. Great service and saved my day!

Very easy transition. The appointment was made online and I pulled in and was immediately taken. Everything took about an hour. Of course the cost of inflation has even reached here, but still affordable for anyone needing services. I would not recommend coming to this shop bad communication and delayed service from my experience. At first I had a decent experience with this company. I explained I could possibly have some Transmission Control Module issues and the manager Jeff Etchison said to bring it in and it could be done at the end of the day since there were two other vehicles. He said he could give me an estimate. This turned into a full 48 hours where I was not communicated with, I was the one calling them at least twice a day to ask when would my vehicle be at least be given an estimate. I finally get an estimate but they mention my transmission needs to be replaced and the estimate is $6,000. I explain that I will come in that day to pick up my vehicle. The receptionist on the phone fails to tell me they are going to be closed until Tuesday when I spoke to them on Saturday. I do understand it s Labor Day weekend, but I did not want services with them. They closed multiple hours early and I was not able to pick up my car. My car was at a shop for a total of 5 days where I did not even receive an actual quote for them to run the diagnostic codes, and I ended up paying around $139. They failed to give me the information of the price I would actually need to pay. Which would not have been an issue if I was communicated to at all. I felt like I had to remind them that I needed a quote. The managers defense was why would I call you if there were no changes . I completely disagree because this is someone s vehicles where they make their livelihood. If anyone was in the same situation, they would have also wanted more transparency, communication too.

I would not recommend this business to anyone.. They kept my truck for over a month. Engine problems. I had to pay them $1500.00 to get my truck back. And it was not running. The customer service was nice and kind. The technician was fantastic . Was kind enough to reduce the initial cost of the parts needed to fix my car. I highly reco.mend this place to any and i guarantee you wont be disapointed

My wife and I moved to Charlotte recently, and have been searching for a place we could trust. The process is anxiety ridden as the horror stories of being ripped off are constantly circulating.When we found the Ashley location, we were skeptical at first. However, I am grateful to say this company, and more importantly their staff, will do whatever they can to put your worries at ease. They are fantastic communicators who will patiently walk you through the entire process. From my experience, they are not trying to swindle you, but are here to succeed while taking care of their community.We will be customers of this location from here on out, and I would recommend anyone to them.

I don't EVER write reviews but I cant ignore what happened to me at this shop. My cars transmission was going out and I needed a shop to look at it and give me a full report on the car before any work was completed. After my car being there for 2 weeks, I called to check the status and was informed that their mechanic was out of for the last 2 weeks and said they were not sure when he would get back in. They offered to charge me $75 to tow it to another Woodies for that shop to look at the car. I declined and advised I will wait for the mechanic to come back or they hire more staff (they should have paid for the tow to the other shop or had that mechanic come to their shop since its the same company). After another 3 weeks, I called again for the status and was advised it would be $3200 to repair the transmission. The car is only worth $2500 so I declined the service and had my car picked up. When my tow truck got there, they advised me there was a charge that needed to be paid before they could release the car (which is the first time anyone has mentioned any charges to me). Then he advises me he was doing me a favor by not charging storage fees!!!! They had the car for 6 weeks due to a lack of staffing and tried to profit off of it. So in the end, I paid $72 for you to hold my car for 6 weeks and try to get more money out of me. After all that, I get the car to my house and see the battery is missing!!...I called them to ask where it was and they advise me someone stole it and I should call the cops?!?!?...You had my car for 5 weeks before looking at it, tried to charge me a $75 tow fee to send it to another woodies, advise me I have charges when the tow truck came but nothing before then and worst of all you gave the car back without a battery in it and told me to file a police report. The worst experience I have ever had at an auto repair shop!!!

I called hardly knowing anything about my car and Amy was the sweetest person helping me out. She didn t treat me like I was ridiculous for not knowing like so many of the other places had as I was calling around to check prices. When I came in she was so informative and kind! And the waiting room was THE NICEST mechanic waiting room I have ever been in. I would 100% recommended them to everyone I know!

I was in Charlotte on business overnighting at a hotel when I discovered my brake line had failed. I made my way to Woodies which was nearby late in the afternoon. Originally it was not looking good but they were going to get back to me in the AM. I had to be in Winston Salem and Richmond for other meetings later in the week so I was planning on renting a car and returning to Charlotte in a week to pick up my vehicle. When they called me the next morning I was expecting to hear that it was going to cost $1000+ and it would be ready in a few days but instead they told me my truck was ready. They were able to fabricate a brake line and said the other suspect parts they weren't sure of ended up being OK (except for my brake pads that they recommended I replace when I get home). I was stranded out of town, vulnerable to be taken advantage of, and these guys took great care of me. The price was no where near what I thought I might have to pay. They didn't try to run up the bill, instead they worked to get me back on the road. I would recommend Woodies to anybody. They even delivered me to and from my hotel. Their waiting lounge is pretty unbelievable also. Thank you.

The customer service staff and mechanics at Woodie's addressed the issue I brought my vehicle in for and didn't try to upsell me services I didn't need immediately. They did a great job on the repair work I had done, it was a little costly but the work is guaranteed. I felt satisfied that the job was done correctly the first time. One of the very few auto service companies I can trust with my vehicle. I am a repeat customer as they have earned my business. Woodie's has been in business in the Charlotte area for many years for a reason and their great service reflects that. They even have shuttle service which is very convenient. Woodie's doesn't quarantine your vehicle from you for days like some mechanic shops. They are very efficient within your work schedule.
