I took my car for a diagnostic test due to noise and a general look at my suspension. Walter (the owner) was knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and advised that my car was in perfect condition, the noise was due to loose bolts that occur over time. I was relieved and more than grateful for his advice and service. If you would like honest affordable service this is an excellent choice for auto repair. Thanks again Walter, he has made a loyal customer.

I ve recently moved to the Charlotte area and have been desperately looking for a reliable and trust worthy mechanic. As I was driving by I randomly decided to give this location a call. They told me to come in that day. They checked out my car, explained what the issue was, gave me an estimate of the repairs, and told me they could have the issue fixed that week. I went home did my research on the repairs to make sure the price matched up to what I was told. Everything added up. I took my car in and it was finished the next day. It runs so smoothly now. Walter and his mechanics were true professionals and explained everything that was wrong with my Nissan Xterra. They guarantee their work for a year so if anything happens on work they do they will take care of it at no extra charge. I definitely felt like family here and I would trust no other mechanic anymore and come to this shop. Excellent service. Thorough diagnostics and fixed my car up nicely. They did a radiator replacement for me and were very descriptive of all the things they needed to replace and why. Definitely would use them again and recommend their service to my friends.

Visited Walter and W&J team in december; Walter took my truck for a ride with me, assessed some issues; showed me the problem with the truck on the lift and made repairs quickly [shocks and sway bar]. This shop is wonderful. He helped me out tremendously and very nice people. Not sure what I would've done. You guys need to try this shop out, they work magic on your vehicle and really help for great prices

Walter is nice, but they made up stuff that needed to be fixed on my car. I came in for 90 dollar job which turned into 500. I usually fix what I can on my cars but this situation I had put it in the shop. From the beginning, Walter has been a great help. He communicated with me about everything wrong with my car and never had me in the dark. I really appreciate his help. After not having my car on the road for months, him and his team got my car back on the road within a weeks time. I recommend going to him for all repairs! I will definitely, for sure give Walter and his crew 5 stars, they are hands down the best. He found out the issue with my brakes and got right to it. Great service! Walter really cares about his customers and gets your car fixed in a timely manner. He honestly cares about the safety of the drivers and makes sure everything is done correctly and will work with you through any complications you may have with your car. I recommend coming here!

Walter is the best... he helped me get my car fixed using my car warranty. Lord knows I didn't know how the warranty process worked. He took all the pics needed to get everything i needed fixed, including 4 brand new tires for my car. Once all my parts arrived and everything was worked out with my warranty company and the supplies were delivered, we then scheduled to have the car fixed. Walter was extremely flexible since my work hours prevented me from bringing the car in right away. I was able to drop the car off in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon on the same day. For all the work my car needed, I'm surprised they had it done so quickly. Now my car drives like brand new... Thanks so much Walter. My rebuilt engine needed to be (somewhat) finshed rebuild and installed back into the engine bay. They provide me with A personal tow-man and they begin working on it immediately. when it was part's that was needed, I provided them and they installed them immediately. I am extreamly satisfied with the urgency & result's of the labor they're accomplishing so far.

W and J Auto is AMAZING! They do high quality work for a very fair price. They are incredibly friendly and professional. I have taken several cars there in the past. My most recent was a 1968 Mercury Cougar. I needed a little suspension and brake work done. Walt and his crew were great. 10/10 would recommend Walter and his crew. I went in with an issue Friday afternoon and by Saturday morning he addressed the issues and had me running back on the road again. As a woman, it can be a bit intimidating going to a car shop because there s always that fear of getting screwed over and overcharged because I wouldn t know any more or less. However, that was not the case here. Mil gracias por su ayuda!

I was visiting family in North Carolina from Florida, unfortunately before arriving to my destination, 2 of my wheel studs on my front driver side tire had broken off. I called several different shops in the area for the repair and out of the 4 that was closest, W & J was the most reasonably priced for my repair. I had called the day before and Walter gave me a time to come in the next day. Upon my arrival, he was very courteous & informed me with progress on my car. I had to get a complete hub instead of replacing the studs (another had broken off at the shop) which was alright by me because the price was very reasonable. After the cash transaction, Walter offered my daughter & myself hand sanitizer and when I got into my car, it had been sprayed & wiped down with disinfectant. I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the great service provide and I recommend them if you're looking for great customer service at a reasonable price.Service: General repairs & maintenance

W&J Auto Repair has an amazing crew of mechanics. They work hard, are very honest, and they give you the right diagnosis of your car. Walter's a great man, he's a very kind and trustworthy guy and makes sure that the job gets done. Very affordable, great service. I'll choose to take my car there over anyone else.

Walter was AMAZING, as well as his staff! I needed a new engine and was so scared that the warranty department was not going to cover, he made it all happen for me! Kept me updated told me not to worry about nothing. Great costumer service!!! GREAT SHOP!! I would definitely recommend ! 5Stars

It doesn t deserve a 1 star but I had to select something . This auto shop is a joke, the owner Walter has lied to me over and over again. My car has been to his shop 3 different times and the problem still isn t fixed. I can write a book here and it still wouldn t express my frustration right now. Please do not take your car to this shop , he doesn t know what he s doing and he has kept my car 3 and 4 days each time leaving me without a car but still doesn t fix what the issue is . I am very disappointed with his service here and refuse to ever bring my car back here again. My warranty company keep advising me to take back to this shop because it s warranty work he did from the first time in December but yet the issue isn t fix. Please spare yourself the problem DO NOT EVER use this auto shop ever!

I have had my truck for almost 2 years now and have been working with Walter and his crew every since. He always welcomes me and gets directly to the point/root of my issue. His turnaround times are on point or he finishes a day earlier. I am grateful to have a trustworthy mechanic!!

Excellent Customer Service. Walter is very knowledgeable and really cares about his customers and understands that things happen and they try their best to get you in and out as quick as possible. I would highly recommend anyone who needs a mechanic or has any car issues. Will definitely be coming back.

Walter is the best! I've been to a lot of auto repair shops over the years and this was the best experience! He took care of our problems in a timely fashion and was very courteous doing so. It was my first time visiting the shop but I can definitely say that if I have a problem in future I will definitely use his services again!

The owner, Walter is an awesome man. He is honest, loyal, trustworthy and knows what he is doing. He will explain exactly what is wrong with your vehicle and what it needs to be fixed. He won't "add in" things that don't really NEED repaired just to make money like so many other mechanics. He's not just in it for the money, he wants to make sure you and your family are safe in your vehicle. Our first encounter with him was just for him to take a look and give his opinion about some shotty work that had previously been done by another shop. Not only did he tell us everything, he showed us so that we could see it ourselves, our van was so unsafe at that time that it could have caught fire at any little bump in the road and unknowingly we had been driving it that way for a few weeks. Walter was so concerned about our safety that he fixed the wire that was hitting metal and did an oil change because the other shop removed our dipstick so he wanted to make sure it had oil and the only way to be sure was to change it. He did all that at no cost to us, just out of kindness and the safety of his customers. We have been back and Walter and W & J will be the ONLY mechanics that ever work on any of our vehicles ever again!
