I had to do a car inspection and I was super pressed for time. There were a few people ahead of me. I went by around 10am after getting out the DMV. I was in and out in about 30 mins. The fee was super affordable and they do cash/debit. They also got these 2 amazing birds. Reminded me of being home , overseas . TRUST WORTHY people here 1000%. Really solid service. 1000/10

Found this shop to be refreshingly honest. They didn't try to push me into buying more expensive tires than I needed. It was all about finding the right fit for my budget. Really appreciated the straightforward approach. They take care of all my maintenance.

Took my Tacoma there to get some tires, Zed and the guys delivered the best service as always. I was in & out under 25 minutes got 2 nice tires for a great price. Great family business and absolutely will be back for tires or mechanic. 10/10

As a woman, this is the only machine I am comfortable at. All of the men are very respectful, efficient, and are just simply hard workers. I have payed for basic services like tires to more expensive ones like brakes. I have never walked away feeling like I was ripped off. I m happy I ve finally found out the name of it so I can leave this review. My family has been going to this shop for over 10+ years and it is passed down to each generation as the mechanic to go to when something is wrong with any car.

I have come here in the past for tires.Today I am here for state inspection. Very fast service. The air-conditioned waiting room was nice.E-Z check out. I paid with credit and they didn't try to add any fees for doing so.I highly recommend this place for your tire and inspection needs.Well you wait you can also check out their exotic birds!

i can't be more grateful to these guys. I've been coming here for years and they always look out and make sure i get what i needed right, quick and at the best price possible. i don't know much about tires but was at the dealership for something else and they told me i needed all 4 tires replaced and quoted me $800. went to University City Tires and the guys checked the tires one by one and none of my tires needed to be replaced. they just saved me almost a $1000 they could've made easy money, not here though, they're honest and trustworthy. thank you so much Nick and Sam I'll definitely be back and bring all my people to you.

University City Tires did an amazing repair job on my 2010 Toyota! I want to give a shoutout to Zed for his excellent customer service and professionalism. These guys are humble hardworking people. These guys are the best. They get you in and out with no fuss. They don't overcharge like some other auto mechanics elsewhere.I highly recommend this auto shop. They'll treat you right.

My son goes to UNC Charlotte. We had to replace a tire semi. The owner and team took us in immediately and finished the job in 20 minutes. Prices are great, too! I highly recommend them!

This place is legit! Got some solid tires here for a fraction of what I was expecting to pay. The guys working there were cool too, didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't need. Definitely coming back next time I need tires!

Awesome place! Went there for an inspection and they were very fast.I even accidentally left my airpods there by accident. In the parking lot! I was 100% convinced I'd never see them again but not only did they find them, they kept them safe for me and were able to return them. I really appreciate it!!!

Actually insane how fast and easy this was. College student who needs to get in and out before classes? I showed up midday on a Tuesday and was back out 15 mins later. The best!

Walked in with a nail tire, I got an almost brand new tire with a great price !!!They are very friendly, professional; fast service and also the beat prices in the area.Definitely recommend and I will come here for my next tire.10/10 !

Came here for the first time.( was recommended by someone else) both of the gentlemen were very kind. There were a good amount of people here so the service would ve been faster but I forgot to hand them my keys after I moved my car to the right spot . But nonetheless a good experience.

Not trust worthy.I took my car to replace a broken ignition.They messed up the electrical/security thing and made me visit more than 10 times.Now the car is in even bad situation and is being driven by hard wiring. They asked me to get it fixed by an electrician or by programming key which they are not sure.

I don't recommend this place, they supposedly was to change my windshield wiper, but they broke it and put a piece from one of their old cars, and they didn't even have the decency to tell me, l noticed it as l left and went down the highway!! I went back and showed and asked why they didn't say something, the old man that was there bout cussed me out, told me to call the police, guess what I did, and as I waited for the police they had the nerve to close shop, don't even get your oil changed cause they don't if you have good oil all they did was add to it!! WTH!!! No court case coming!!!

It is sad but I WAS a repeat customer. Last Friday I went in and had them fix a slow leak in my tire 25.00 and out the door. Still leaked over the weekend. Took it in today, they found a different source and charged me again to fix the same tire they didn t fix 3 days earlier. Don t get me wrong, quick service, friendly people, but not trust worthy. How hard is it to do the right thing? $50.00 to do the wrong.

I've come to this place quite a bit the last 4 yrs or so. I've noticed lately the quality of tires have gone down. I just went by to get another used tire and the first one the older guy brought me had nails in it and a previous patch. As soon as I pointed that out, he went and grabbed another tire without me having to ask. I gave the 2nd tire a quick lookover and the younger guy asks me how I like that one, to which I replied, "this one's okay." Thay should have been the end of it, but the younger guy made some smart, condescending comment of "It's a used tire, it's not going to be perfect." I couldn't believe how unprofessional this guy was. I kept my mouth shut until after I paid and I simply stated, "You know, about that comment about me expecting perfection for a used tire...I dont expect a used tire to be perfect, but I also don't expect them to have nails and patches either." He continues to get an attitude and says, "all used tires have nails and patches in them." Folks, it's your money, do what you wish, but I've bought tons of used tires my entire adult life and have always been able to get a decent conditioned tire without nails and plugs. I will NEVER give these guys another penny of my money.

Had the best experience here!!! I was in and out in 30 minutes for a state inspection this morning. There were super friendly and the good looking guy (didn't catch his name unfortunately) who helped me was so sweet and friendly! As a young woman, I did not feel intimidated nor did they try to upsell anything. Straightforward, honest and very nice people. I will definitely be back!!!! Also their waiting room has great AC and comfy chairs. Definitely a bonus!

University Tire is not a reputable business, do not patronize this location, Very Rude and Disrespectful, broke a component on my vehicle, then tried to fix the error with out me knowing, however, I noticed it right off ! When I confronted the owner about their Deception this is when the (Rudeness and Blantant Disrespect) occurred !!!!! Furthermore they refused to correct their indiscretion. I will Never use University Tire Ever Again for any reason !!!!. Also they were supposed to do an oil change on my vehicle, needless to say no new oil was added to my vehicle, the next day, I checked my oil dipstick and it was (TAR BLACK) suffice to say, the oil was never changed !!!! So I was technically robbed at this location !!!

Don't go to this place they will rip you off! If you don't know anything about cars they will charge you max dollar! Also the guy went into my car and stole my impact gun.

I appreciate the owner and everybody that works at University City tires. Every time I come here I feel good about the work that they do for me ,Being a women I don t feel rip off like some other places ,these are some good respectable, honest people that work here ,I am so grateful to have a place that I can take my car for service.

Called to see if they had tired in store for my car, the person who answered the phone was immediately rude, I tried to tell him the rim size and was getting to telling him the car size but he cut me off and said he didn t know what kind of tire that was and to call back when I knew the full tire size and then hung up on me.

This place to me is great I dropped a star because I normally come here and only 1 dude seems like he don t want to be there but on the other hand I get great tires but I come in for a tire and a plug and little did I know I was charged nearly a tire for a plug and the plug still leaks I will be coming back for a tire because the tires are good but I would ask the price of a plug before getting one

I have never left a review before, but I cannot recommend this place enough! As a young woman it can be hard to find a place that you trust and feel comfortable going to in terms of car service. I have been going here for a couple years now as a UNCC student living nearby. The mechanics are so kind and helpful, and the service is so QUICK! I was just in and out in 5 minutes for an oil change and air in my tires. Maybe it s a tad pricier than some places, but it is more than worth it in my opinion. Thanks for your help during my time in university area! I will always recommend this shop.
