I implore ANYONE who goes here for routine maintenance to double check their work, especially regarding oil changes. I have a Toyota Rav4. I have been a customer at this location ever since they opened and have never had a problem until June 2023. I went to have my regular oil change, and about a month and a half later my engine light came on and my car started making weird sounds. I decided to take it for diagnostics to the Toyota dealer, where they found that my oil pan had been punctured by a tool that was used to open something that should have been opened by hand. They provided pictures and also stated that whoever last changed my oil were the ones who punctured it. I went back to Pep Boys to notify the manager, Mark, of what happened, and he seemed understanding and said he would look into it, but I never got a response from him. I then decided to contact the district manager who told me I would be issued a check for a refund and I could pick up the check at the Pep Boys store location where the damage happened. When I went to talk to Mark, he said he was unaware of any check and that I needed to provide the Toyota receipt as proof of the amount. I then provided him the receipt and still have not had any response from anyone at Pep Boys. The district manager told me my case was closed since he told me that the location would provide my refund. It has been over 6 months with no resolution. This is a very dangerous situation for anyone, but I also drive around my grandchildren multiple times a week. I was told by Toyota that my engine could have died, and I was lucky that I took the check engine light seriously and made an appointment ASAP, because I could have had to buy a completely new car if I waited just a little bit longer. It is disheartening that they won't take responsibility for the lackluster/laziness of the employees or even if it was a mistake, for the safety of one of their clients. All I am asking for is a refund for what I paid Pep Boys for my oil change and what I had to pay Toyota for the diagnostic and the oil change Toyota had to do.

Made an appointment to get my headlight replaced. When I arrived I was told that it may be end of day before it was ready, but it was ready within 1.5 hours. All of the staff were friendly and quick. Also gave a complimentary vehicle inspection. Would definitely recommend!

Kareem did a excellent job replacing my driver's side low beam light bulb replacement and state inspection. He also recommended me getting a door handle replacement from Amazon, really cheap and he has offered pep boys can help replace it. Very great customer service and definitely recommend for any car services.

I had a headlight out and needed it fixed right away. I didn't have an appointment but took a chance that Pepboys could help. Mark took care of it as quickly as he could while waiting on other customers and answering phone calls. Thank you!

Made an appointment but didn't think it would be honored due to my previous experiences at other Pep Boys locations. They took it in and I was expecting a 2 hr wait but the vehicle was done in an hour. After the work they did a complimentary check and I was impressed that they got the tire pressure exactly to manufacture specs on all 4 tires. That never happens. I'll be going back for sure.

Mark the service manager has been great. My son's lock key wasn't put back in the car and unfortunately they couldn't find it.( which happens) Mark had the lug nuts removed and replaced the lug nuts that way if anything happens on the road my son will be able to get the tires off. Mark has been very kind and fair.

The advisor had the opportunity to be kind and give me good advice. Instead he was quick to take my money ($120) for a diagnostic fee, which ultimately told me what I already knew going in. I explained everything I knew before handing my keys over. He knew I already knew it but had separate questions that needed diagnoses for other problems. I would give 1 star for value, but the advisor was generally respectful and the appointment was available the same day - thats why I am giving two stars. But I regret going as I received no new information beyond what my check engine light reader told me at home, in exchange for the money. Life lesson, take care of the small stuff you know about first, before taking it into PepBoys. If you don't, they'll just take your money to point out the obvious and blame everything on that.

Came in for two tires on a Sunday. He was quoted 353 over the phone and when they cashed me out the total was almost $90 more. When I questioned it, I was told that the pricing may not have been accurate that I was told in the first place, which is a line of crap. After they finished with my tires, I hung around for about 30 to 40 minutes talking to the manager about random other things. I went to wash my car today and noticed that they lost one of my valve stem caps which work custom and didn t bother saying anything. They just decided to stick some other random valve, stem cap on there and not tell me. When I called him and asked him about it, he knew exactly what I was talking about and said it was on top of their tire machine. So if you knew that you lost it why would you not tell me when I was there? Talk about not having integrity at all! When I went to pick it up, the guy acted like it wasn t a big deal and I shouldn t be upset about it. I can tell you this, I will never be returning to Pep Boys again. This is not the first time that they have screwed up , the work they ve done for me. I have four vehicles that I maintain in my family and I have four vehicles that I maintain at my job. They will never be going to Pep Boys again this year lack of respect and the dishonesty with this whole situation is sickening . Not only that but the disrespectful attitude and The didn t really give a care way that the guy came across when I went to pick it up is definitely not good service. You guys need to do better training your people on how to handle situations and how to be honest with customers. Had they came out to me and said hey, we lost one of your valve stem caps. I would ve been so appreciative that they came and told me and would ve given them a five star review instead of the two stars that they re getting. The only reason I m giving them to is because they actually did a good job putting my tires on and they were quick about it. But having good quality customer service from honest employees goes a long way. The lack of this location having those things has turned me away from Pep Boys altogether.Edit: went to get two new tires from Discount Tire today, about 9 months after going to Pep Boys. They examined the tires I got from Pep Boys and showed me the date of the tires they installed were from February of 2016, so over 7 years old! NEVER EVER GOING TO ANY PEP BOYS OR RECOMMENDING THEM TO ANYONE EVER! HOW UNSAFE!!!

The service is extremely slow. It should not take ALL Day to get an oil change and 2 filters installed. I was there from 9:45 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. I was given a time and it still took an additional 2 hours longer. Management and technicians may need additional training on less talking and more working. Consider the customer's time. After all, that is the reason you all have jobs.

Great overall service when getting my tires replaced! Kal was open, honest, and thorough with the charges ahead of time. Most importantly, he did not try to add on unnecessary features or hide them in the overall cost as Firestone did when I called them for a quote. They were quite busy but still managed to service my vehicle within a timely manner and gave an accurate update when I called to check.

I had a great experience at the Pep Boys on Arbor Creek Drive, Mark assured me that my vehicle was in good hands and it would be ready for pick up same day before close. Mark, the manager/service writer was awesome! He was professional and patient, and took the time to verify they had what I needed. On top of that, when he discovered my order was discontinued, he located a better product, price matched without hesitation, and again personally made sure everything was right before I went in person. This was outstanding customer service and I left convinced I will return. I am a real person living and working in the Charlotte NC area, and I m not blowing smoke, very positive experience. Thanks Mark!!

Everyone was friendly and professional, fast service, and honest. I brought my car in for new break pads, they told me the pads were fine and just added break fluid which is much cheaper. Great experience.

I arrived there at 8am on Saturday and dropped my car off for tire rotation and wheel alignment. It was fast even with short staff that weekend but I came at a good time not busy at all. I m happy and satisfied

Great service and Kal did a great job! I have confidence in their work. Only complaint is the reservation system used by Pep Boys as it's not accurate and does not actually represent wait times. This product (not a reflection of the crew or location) could be overhauled.

DONT DO IT. this place is absolutely HORRIBLE. My husband and I were driving through visiting family in the area and our car's brake caliber went bad. We took it here and they screwed us around for 6..SIX DAYS. AND THEN..they claimed they were sent the wrong part when in reality they ordered the wrong part. NEVER called to keep us updated, we had to contact them and ask what was going on. After waiting 6 days with absolutely no progress or effort, we called WOODYS and they fixed our car in ONE DAY! they were outstanding!Long story short, DO NOT GO HERE! Rude, unprofessional, absolutely horrible service.
