I was and always is highly satisfied with this auto service center. The staff will let you know what the issue is and fix it RIGHT. I highly recommend this center to anyone. I even brag about my satisfaction with them to my friends.

Fernando, and his team are top notch. They explain everything in detail allowing you to make intelligent decisions when it comes to your mechanical needs. It s not about the money but about the quality when it comes to his team.

I am NOT happy with Fernando and this shop. I had been coming here with vehicles for years with no issues. I purchased a Chevy Sonic with the 1.4L turbo engine that eventually had an oil leak. I took it to this shop and after spending over $400 between replacing the oil feed line, valve cover gasket, and oil pan, the car was still smoking and leaking oil. I took it to a different mechanic who discovered the turbo was failing and needed to be completely replaced which was leaking oil directly into the catalytic converter. THIS WAS THE ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE. They took my money and misdiagnosed the issue with the car. DO NOT come here!!

They were easy to make an appointment and get in in short notice. Customer service was excellent and they even went the extra mile to go to a different location to get the correct tire for my car. Thank you all again

We've used Independent Tire for many years and they have been ABSOLUTELY amazing to us! They are reasonable, prompt, honest and extremely informative! They are a 1 stop shop for ALL of our vehicle needs. I've recommended them to ALL of my friends and family. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The BEST in Charlotte, Mint Hill, Matthews, Indian Trail, Stallings, Concord, Kannapolis, Matthews etc. Try them! You will NOT be disappointed!

I was on my way to Meineke when i drove by this place, checked the reviews quickly and made a u turn. and i am so glad I did.Fernando is patient and actually listens (which is huge when you re a female that is used to mechanics completely tuning you out)He fixed an issue (loud noise) that TWO other mechanics (one being Meineke) had refused to even look into (claiming it was an advanced transmission issue) it was a clip on my air filter that the last mechanic had failed to properlyclip on.Fernando listened to me, drove the car with me and found the culprit in 5 minutes after 6 months of this noise and trying to find a mechanic to look into it. And he fixed it for free(which included putting car on lift to get the clip from bottom of cover).

My Car ran hot and I took it to a mechanic who stated I needed a new radiator and also could of blew the head gasket in my Engine. He would not work on the car, stating I needed someone to test the Engine. I asked people I trusted in the community for a HONEST mechanic who was TRUSTWORTHY AND HAD INTEGRITY. Fernando at Independent Tire & Auto Service was brought to my attention by a trusted friend. I took my Car there, Fernando was honest with me. He fixed my radiator, tested my engine and thankfully that was all I needed. His price was reasonable and I had my car back in two days! He is Honest. He does Great work! Brought my truck in for oil leak was told it was rear main seal had work done my truck continued to leak took my truck back 5 times was told they couldn't find the leak took it to another place they found it don't waste your money

Jose has been working on my car as well as my wife car as well as other family members vehicles as well. Jose and the guys at his shop has provided us all great customer service. I believe some of the best service in town. I truly believe that Jose is one of the most honest individuals that I know. Most shops will do work on your car and know that it wasn't needed but Jose will let you know that the problem you thought you where having is not the issue. Hands down Independent auto provide excellent service!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

They was supposed to fix a oxygen sensor and car was still running to he same when I picked it up. They say they couldn't fix but took my money. Please don't let these people fix your car. They are not honest people. They kei my money asked them for some of my money back. Work done on the car was good I had the heat fixed on a 06 Honda pilot the only issue was things missing from the car I called and asked if they had cameras I wad told yes but when I mentioned missing items it changed to there are no cameras where the car was being kept mind you this is a fenced in locked up at night can not get in the fence without a key and climbing the fence with the type of item missing is not likely so I will not be using again but by all means you try it just don't leave anything in the car even a large tote full of donation clothes and shoes.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was driving from Pittsburgh to Hilton head and popped a tire on 77. These guys did a rush job for me and really saved my trip! Bonus the tire cost about half what I paid in Pittsburgh. I am so grateful to these men and definitely recommend them to anyone in charlotte!Service: TiresService: Tires

I have been going to Independent Tire since the doors opened 1992. It was under a different owner but the service & professionalism are still superb. The service is high quality & prices fair. I would recommend all women to patronize this business for fairness & honest diagnostics. Fernando explains your options in detail. Awesome shop, had a vibration due to tire cupping on the front tires of my 2005 Dodge Ram, the rotated my front tires to the rear and put the rear on the front for me within an hours time, got me right in and back on the road to continue my trip from North Carolina to Florida!! 5 stars from me, these guys are awesome and fast!!!Service: TiresService: Tires

This place took 11,000 dollars from me. They gave me a warranty that they will not honor. Fernando scammed me out of my money and put cheap parts on my truck . He is dishonest about the process of fixing cars. Stay away from here.
