I can t thank the staff at Import Paint and Body enough for all the help they provided to me after being in an accident last week. Abby and Becca were able to move things around on the schedule so that I could come in last minute, and were so kind and helpful through every step of the process. Tyler was also super helpful when I had to come collect my belongings from my car. I can t thank everyone at Import Paint and Body enough for the AMAZING help and support they provided me during this experience.

We had to get body work done to car that s very special to my spouse due to collision. Just got it back looking brand new. The team even took the time to make it pristinely clean, which was an unexpected and much appreciated surprise. We couldn t have asked for a better experience from intake to leaving. The front desk team is wonderful and clearly love their jobs. It s easy to see why when Import Paint & Body cares so much about customer satisfaction and doing great work!

This is the only body shop I will recommend. The team at Import Paint and Body helped find and repair a hole in our trunk that another shop (Service "King", now Crash Champions) failed to diagnose. I'm so grateful for their attention to detail and amazing work!

After what Import Paint and Body considered minor front-end damage, the repair took nearly three weeks due to necessary parts and disassembly. However, the repair quality was outstanding. During our pickup, we noticed slight misalignment of the seams, which the team promptly adjusted to perfection while we waited. This experience truly reflects their exceptional customer service.

This place is 100% worth the money. Their work is 100% quality. They painted my Alfa Romeo perfectly. I couldn't even notice where they blended it. The flakes matched up spot on. They polished it after the paint job and it looks better than new. It has a very nice mirror finish. Trust me, you get what you pay for with this shop. Staff is very polite and friendly. Super welcoming.

Very poor. We took our vehicle there to get the rear end repaired. My wife was rear ended while driving. The police said it was the other drivers fault. So we shouldn t have paid anything for the rental. It was taking an awful long time for them to finish up our car and we found out they were waiting on one part. So we continue to be patient. How long could it take for one part to come in? It was taking so long for them to get the last cosmetic part we asked if we could take the car and bring it back when they received it. They agreed to that and released our car to us. Next we tried to get reimbursed by there insurance company for car rental. The insurance company said the auto body shop never extended the rental and then closed the account when you picked up your car, so there was nothing they could do to reimburse us the money. We called the auto body shop for weeks upon weeks checking on the part they kept saying it hasn t come in yet. it was taking so long, we finally contacted our insurance company to see if we could finish the claim through them to get the part on our vehicle. They were happy to help us out. They started a new claim and we took the vehicle to a different autobody shop. When we got there, they looked over our vehicle check for the part and said the part is available locally. They could have it there in one day. So two days later, the part was on our vehicle and we were on our way. Nothing but frustrations and headache up to that point. Plus us having to pay out-of-pocket over $700 for a car rental.Also the day the new auto body shop said the part was available locally my wife called Imports to see if they had the part yet and they said they still had no idea when it was coming in. So we let them know our insurance company was taken care of it from here on out.My reply to your comment.If you can t find it, it s probably because you didn t look far enough back. It was Feb through March 2022 . I was going through my old paperwork and came across my enterprise bill and was thinking about it. I thought I should give a review. USAA was the was the insurance company of the guy had who hit my wife.

Carlos did an outstanding job in correcting and bringing the paint on my '76 Porsche 912E back to life! He also applied a Graphene coating that really makes the appearance great. I highly recommend his skillful talent! Thank you, Carlos!

I miss these guys so much. Not only is this place the best in Charlotte, it's one of the best paint and body shops in the country (this my opinion, but also others in the car community i've talked to). if you have a high end car, they will take their time and do it right. if you ask for your car to done quickly, they will stay on top of the insurance non-sense.A lot of people don't really understand how insurance companies wedge these body shops, and a lot of repair shops work within these constraints. Loren (the owner) will do everything he can to work with the adjusters to get the best parts for your car. In some cases, with only saving .20-.30 cents on the dollar for a salvage part, it's worth the insurance company's money to get an OEM part. Loren knows how to talk with these folks, which ends up with a better build for the car owner.I swear by these guys. Every adjuster in town knows Loren. They like him. Loren's customers like him. And since moving to Denver, CO...I really miss having this shop. I've had at least 3 cars repaired by this shop, and they have always taken care of me. One of the repairs was for a super rare BMW 1M Coupe', and when I did the diminished value report, the guy said that it was some of the best work he's ever seen for a diminished claim. And for that...thanks IP&B.

Import Paint and Body has helped me with my car twice and my sister s car and they have done wonderful work every time! They keep you updated on the progress and have great customer service. My car came back shiny, detailed on the inside, and better than ever! They coordinated with the insurance company of the person who damaged my car so I didn t have to worry about a thing. Happy to have found a reliable body shop to trust.

Excellent shop to deal with. I was impressed be their service, the regular updates, responsiveness between updates, and above all my 2002 Corvette was repaired so well you can only tell because of the freshness of the new painted bumper cover. The color match is exceptional!

Received Excellent work. Professional and Friendly staff. Kept well informed during the repair process. Staff discovered an electrical problem and immediately reported to me. They took took time to correct. Owner even took the time to drive me to pick up rental car. Love this place! I needed to get my car door fixed and I called so many other body shops, everybody was booked up so I called the dealership and nissan was going to charge me hundreds just to look at my car. I luckily found import. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. They have great communication on the status of your work order and the service was quick! This is definitely my new go-to body shop!

there is no better place to take your car than a Import Paint and Body. My family has been going to import for over 15 years the owner and now the owner son has taken care of us extremely well like we are family I couldn t recommend going anywhere else.

It s the small things that are big. The entire team at Import Paint & Body are the top of the industry from the ladies at the front desk to the service techs in the back to the owner who wants to do what s right! I had a small repair that needed looked at. They found the issue quickly and ordered a part. They called the next day after the part arrived and scheduled an install time. While they were installing the piece they found an issue in my front headlight. It was more than a bulb repair but they ran diagnostics and found the issue and quickly got a part from an parts store and had it fixed in minutes. They saved me from being pulled over and getting a ticket. Again it s the small things that are big. I m a retail business owner and know the value of having a team that buys in to quality, integrity and good attitude and Import Paint & Body is a company that is that next level team! Very very disappointed in the results on what the shop did on my repairs! trunk has small 3 scratch marks in the paint! looks like it was scratch as they were prepping the trunk before it was repainted! my carbon fiber panel piece was not installed correctly! hope it was not bented! I ask them to clean my trunk jam and somehow they strip paint off! also the lower side of rear bumper they etch some paint off and i ask them to fix it! but they would just use touch up paint to cover small area of the damage and said no i want that fully fix and basically they didn't even care or offer to repair the damage! bumper was remove since trunk was repainted and i think the damage occur when they removed my fender flare piece! now i got to spend more $$ in getting this all fix! always check and expect your car before you leave!

I chose Import Paint & Body based on a referral from my neighbor. He takes great care of his cars and was pleased with the results when he used them for cosmetic work on a high-end sports car.Going through them, the entire process was easy, which was a relief since costs were not being paid by my insurance. I had consistent communication from Becca, who was delightful to work with from start to finish. Never did I feel misinformed or if I needed to be on high alert for overcharges. Becca went over the estimate with me in great detail, and when a competitor's estimate came in $1k higher, she verified that this cost was not even required by my car manufacturer.IP&B completed repairs on time, and I picked it up, looking loved and shiny again!Sadly....one month later, my beautiful car is back in their garage, getting repairs on the same side that just got a brand new door! Obviously, I highly recommend this business for repairs of all sizes because within 60-days, they have taken care of them for me!

PLEASE CHOSE WISELY!! I opted to take my vehicle to Import Paint and Body based on the reputation of the previous owner and the work he'd done for me in the past years. I took my vehicle to Import unaware the new owners were in place. What I experienced was just short of a nightmare!My vehicle was in the shop for 6 months! Initially the team promised to keep me informed. That didn't happen! Days turned through weeks and weeks to months. I had to initiate most calls and would be given excuse after excuse. Staff began to play the "blame game" and point fingers at each other as to why certain things had not been done or why I'd not been updated.After six months I was told my car was finally ready! I got there and the rear gate was obviously unalligned. My car was dirty, meaning mechanics hand worked at some point, unloved. Leaving grease or oil on the interior of my car!The rear trailer hitch fame was left off. I had the dealership replaced it and Import did reimburse me with little hassle.My sunroof is no longer operational. This was mentioned to the manager at Import. He had no reasonable explanation outside of "this was a big job."I am going through the dealership to get this issue resolved since my vehicle is under warranty and I have lost ALL FAITH in Import Paint and Body.If you are seeking a Body Shop for your repairs, RECONSIDER!!Their customer service left a lot to be desired.They expressed little to no concern about the issues,as I am still picking up the pieces.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I dropped my 2017 Porsche 911 at the dealership for a front-end respray (rock chips) and application of xpel paint protection film. They arranged for Hendrick "Luxury" Collision Center to perform the respray, and the results were shockingly bad.Also shocked with Hendrick's result, Porsche of Charlotte arranged for Loren and his team at Import Paint and Body to repaint the car. A significantly larger portion of the car needed to be repainted due to the first body's shop's workmanship (they damaged body panels, broke plastic housing, and reattached my Porsche ornament crooked and covered in overspray using only a single nut). He really had his work cut out for him.Beginning about an hour after Porsche Charlotte delivered the car to Loren, communication was open and he was clear and candid about what needed to be done, how long it would take, and what my expectations should be. Loren's team exceeded all of my expectations when they delivered the repainted, PPF covered car back to me within the timeline they promised. I have nothing but good things to say about Loren and would recommend anyone needing any body work done pay him a visit. His team is top notch and the workmanship is first quality. He brought my 911 back to life and I cannot thank him enough!!

This is one of the best higher end body shops in the Charlotte area. The staff takes great pride in their work and it shows. I recently had my 2022 BMW in for repair and they did an amazing job bringing it back to perfect condition. The team communicated with me throughout the 5 month process (parts orders delayed by BMW) and made sure I was well informed along the way.Thank you !Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim

Absolutely horrible and unhelpful customer service. Extremely rude in addition to being unhelpful. They offer a lifetime warranty but they recently started using a new billing system that can't even find your transaction if it happened before that, which defeats the whole purpose of a warranty. You're better off taking your business somewhere else, they don't deserve your money.Service: Body & Trim

I had a super great experience here! These guys are the best, bar none! They cared about helping me AND fixing my car. Service was fast & the front office people were so kind & accommodating. They worked with me on the price and scheduling and securing a rental car. They did an excellent repair job on my car! This is the best place to take your car for service if you want excellent service, expertise, and friendly people who really care about their customers. I have chosen Import Paint and Body on 2 occasions and my experiences have been amazing. The customer service is amazing and the paint job I received on my vehicle was superb. They also allowed me to pay cash instead of using insurance which I found a number of other businesses would not allow me to do.
