I purchased a trailer from them and receive grade a quality service. They gave me what I thought was a good price and good service. I'm from New York so honestly I was expecting to be hustled but Mama Holbert treated us like family even took our trailer to their property and held it for us for over 30 days with no problem. I definitely recommend them they definitely have my business going forward.**** Update**** they sold me a shoddy trailer that when it rains all the lights go bad within 2 weeks I'll call them and ask Mama Hobart to take a look at it she gave me the hourly price and told me she didn't remember me. Laughable company do not stand behind their product Don't waste your time!

My truck needed some body work. Not only did they get the job done ahead of schedule, they came in right on budget. Mama Holbert took care of me like I was family. In fact, everyone who worked there treated me with the same courtesy. I highly recommend Holbert.

Worst shop ive been in maybe ever. Rude Donna or Mama and Raleigh have zero customer service, management or scheduling skills whatsoever. I was told last Thursday that my box truck could be sealed and repaired "tomorrow " if i could drop the truck off in the morning, so I did. I also added another service, a simple repair that Raleigh explained would be extra and take a little more time. I said ok, so next week? Yes, was his answer. I call monday morning, to get a update and a estimated completion time. I was met with, "you have to understand we are busy" and " thats not how this works..." again, no daye of completion given, but a phone call promised tomorrow (now Tuesday). No phone call comes because Raleigh was out of office, again im met with more of Donna telling me i have to understand this and that, still all i want is a estimated time of completion for a service i was told takes a day. It is now Wednesday and i make an in person visit because clearly no one is taking this seriously and im told there is no way I could be told when it will be done and they need to keep the truck until its finished, so I ask, basically impossible to schedule a service at this place correct? And because of my attitude they refuse to work on my truck. 3 business days and 2 weekend days later im finnaly free if this clown show. CLOWNS!

Don't bring your truck here . They have an attitude and don't care for customer . They had my truck for 5 days and didn't even touch it . Every time I asked when they would say tomorrow. Had to tow it down the street and they started working on it after 3 hours

Called this morning to get a quote for a hinge job on my trailer. Got me in and out in a hour or so. Such nice ppl. I d recommend if you need trailer repair come here! Best in Charlotte great pricing. Fast repairs.

If I could it would be -5 in rating I called around charlotte to see who was qualified to work on a sprinter with a top mount reefer unit. I spoke with Holbert, I was assured that they are a qualified Thermo-king and carrier repair shop .We dropped it off in late April 2022, I was told it would be 2-3 weeks out before I get it back-Long story short.1. After a week and a half went by, no calls from them. so I called to get an idea-I was told it ll be around $1700-$2000 for a new compressor for the reefer I said go ahead.2. I went to pick it up, they said I needed a new line bc it busted. No problem thinking it was another $300-500 more. No calls from them for any update. Finally after almost a month I was fed up and needed the unit on the road. I went to pick it up I was hit with a $3990.00 and some change. $2000.00 More for a line (WTH)Who would pay that for a compressor and no communication on their end? The old lady Deborah said it is what it is. (SMDH) no, I m sorry we didn t call you to let you know or anything.less than 24 hours later the whole unit isn t working..I took it back when we got back in town.. I was told another $1800-1900 no warranty, the freon leaked out.I picked my sprinter up took it straight to Thermo-King Central Carolina.$597 more and everything works fantastically, they said Holbert didn t do what they said on paper- I will never recommend Holbert trailer and service They re the worst and shady AF . Stay away find an honest shop such as- Thermo-king Central Carolina

Exceptional and beyond! With a heads up call, I took my trailer to Holbert. Tires where drastically chewing up on my trailer. They were able to take me in immediately. Aligned the trailer, which was out of alignment significantly and had me underway within 2.5 hours. Charlie explained thoroughly what the issue was and what was done to correct the issue. Afterwards I decided to bring my tractor and trailer back 5 days later to Align tractor along with a fed Inspection, also to fully service trailer and fed inspect. I left to visit son for 2 days. Not only did they do what was asked but continued to call and inform me of the progress each day. Mike, the technician doing the alignment on my tractor, explained in detail what was wrong and what corrective action was taken. A shop like this, is like a rare commodity. After 38 years in this business, the folks at Holbert are at the top 1 percent of my list of repair facilities. Charlie, Mike, Cora and everyone else that worked on my equipment, Thank You and don't ever change. Professionals to the core. Since It is a first come first serve facility, I do suggest a heads up call to see how busy they are. Bottom line, I highly recommend this facility.

Had my fifth wheel repaired here. Poor and improper welds from manufacturer. They fixed properly. Rides better. No more bounce or sway.

Even though they were booked, when we got there, they got us right in and fixed so we could pick up our load. Awesome Service! Sammy did a great job! Everyone was really friendly and the final cost was way better than we thought it would be.

I will never refer or have this place work on my equipment. I drop my trailer off on a friday and was told it would be ready Tuesday. 3 weeks later I was told my trailer was ready. When I arrived I was told it was not ready again. Every time I called for an update I was told a different reason why my trailer was not done. My bill was right at $2,000 on $480 in parts. The work that was asked to be done is unfinished. Looks like a

Wow is all I can say to this location and service. I came in as a walk in in the early morning to get my trailer tandems fix and they were so backed up BUT STILL found a way to fit me into there schedule to do the repairs for my trailer. DEFINITELY recommend them and would go back again

These people are amazing !!! I had so many problems with getting my trailer in anywhere here in north carolina statesville had to drive down 35 mins but they got me in figured out it was a bad wire melted the brakes on the trailer scrambled around found the parts and got me back on the road same day these people were a life saver !!!! Took it to trailer shop in olin nc they charged me 150 dollars and fixed nothing ...

Forklift damage: I called to see if they could do the repair. of course they said they could. I asked them if they were backed up they said no. I could arrive 10 minutes later. I was there they did the estimate the price was fair they were quite Pleasant. and a few hours later I was rolling quite happy

Charged me 200.00 to diagnose my trailer problem .Didn't figure it out.Said they would call me with answer to my problem and DIDN'T.THINK IT WAS BECAUSE OF SKIN COLOR AND BECAUSE I HAVE NICE TRUCK.Don't go here unless you have family that works there or you are Affiliated.

Great customer service right away.Need probable clutch. Shop said will get on it asap.Strange times everyone is busy and back logged. Reminds me of an Old school.Alabama shop I used to go to. Everybody slanging wrenches.

I was told the hourly rate was 70.00 per hr.when I received the bill the cost was 65.00 per hr per person (2 mechanics worked on the vehicle ).I feel I was misled .i would have still had them do the work, however its the principal, that he was not up front about the true cost. they charged me 135.00 per hour.

Waited over 3 weeks to bring my truck he jr says I can take care of you . Finds out the owner of the business is BLACK then what you know he doesn t even have time to talk now . I took my issue to east coast trailers where your skin tone doesn t matter

They do great work had a breaks put on tractor and a electric issue with trailer,they one of the best in the business and the prices are very reasonable they will get more of my business.

Chris and jorge got me in and out in a quickly manner found the problem in less than 30 minutes got in when everyone was on lunch soon as they came back everything was fixed will refer them to any truck driver heading thru Charlotte NC
