They setup a 10:30am appointment and said it will take an hour for a state inspection. We dropped the car at 10:30am exactly. Came back at 12:30pm. Didn t even bother looking at the car. The manager the guy with dark glasses and cap told me they are going to look at it now. So if I don t go back they would have never looked at it. I said what happened you said it will be done in an hour, and if you can t do it in 5 minutes I can t stay around and miss my 1pm appointment. He said no inspection takes 5 minutes and i told him then I am leaving. He smiled and said thanks for coming by, no apologies for wasting our time and not delivering on promised time. Last time we are coming here and I hope people see this review and stop put business like this out of their misery.

I read all reviews before to use their service. Reviews were 50-50 so I decided to give it a try. Reviews didn't lie - people working there kind of rude and unrespectful, not trustworthy. Wheel alighment is done fast - this is plus. But it was devalued by 2 minuses. First - they were out of ink and couldn't print the alighment report. As I needed this report, discussed possibilities of getting it - they put my car back, checked by machine and I could take photoes of the screen. But office supplies are included into bill. Second - I asked for free car inspection for 29 points as it is listed in Services description. They said nothing bad was discovered during inspection I know my car problems so I'm sure they haven't done it at all. Why to lie to me about that? So unrespectful trying to make fool of me. Make your own conclusion if it is worth of using this service.

I drive for lyft and this was a location they offer when using a Vehicle through them. They have a rental program btw check it out!!!( Unfortunately I scraped my oil pan going over a hard speed bump) Super friendly, and understanding. Just no MAJOR MECHANICS ON SUNDAYS (keep in mind)Very prompt and professional unfortunately I forgot the gentlemans name who took in my car but he was great none the less. So thank you. And from now on I will only use this location. The only thing concerning to give it a 4 not 5 was oil drips on the trunk and hood of the car? Which can ruin the paint it might not be my car but I will treat it as such... as im using it to make a living and I AM liable for any damage over 6 inches. OIL DRIPS ON HOOD WERE A GOOD 12 INCHES THE TRUNK WAS 2 SOILD SPOTS LIKE someone held it over the car is two spots. Please be more diligent in the care of ANYONES transport.

Top notch service (on a Sunday, no less!) with a flat tire on my daughter's car that needed attention. The tire ended up being irreparable. Thankfully, they had a replacement in the right size in stock. Not the same exact brand, but really, does that matter?Quick, efficient, friendly. While the car was being done, we wandered around the area and found some stuff to do.

Do not go here. 3 separate occasions I ve been forced here because of availability and every time it s been miserable. Twice they ve diagnosed the issue, said they can t fix it, and charge me $90 to tell me I have to take it somewhere else. The one time they did fix something it was a brake caliper and I had to take it somewhere else 3 weeks later because they installed it incorrectly. They will overcharge and underdeliver.

Previously had good service and bought tires here bringing the car in periodically for oil change and rotation. Had even posted a 5 star review. This trip I had a 9am appointment (in theory 9-10a per their website). I dropped the car off just before 9:00 and 2 hours and 20 minutes later I'm still waiting.Also had them speak to some wear on the 85000 Assurance MaxLife tires they installed two years ago when they did this rotation. Guy on staff wrote it off to having 50,000 miles on them so far. Problem was when I got home and checked the paper work they only have 39,000 miles. Someone has trouble with math... Next to last time for this place, next trip will be collecting on the tire warranty falling woefully short.Editing this on the weekend following the above. I opened my trunk to find the items inside all disheveled and dumped out of the cargo net within. Apparently the staff there couldn't find my wheel lock, which was in the center console in the front, and rather than call me and ask they dug around through my trunk attempting to get to the spare I presume to look for the wheel lock there. In doing so they left it completely in disarray.

This is by far the ABSOLUTE worst Goodyear. Everyone here is incompetent and rude. I had issues a few months ago trying to get new tires on my car. Then today I figured let s give them another shot since I have a wheel alignment warranty. I made an appointment on their website that listed 5 and 5:30 as available appointment times and made a 5pm appointment. Showed up about 10 mins prior and what does the guy tell me when I say I m here for my appointment well we close at 5 . No I m sorry for the inconvenience or let s schedule you for a time we re open. Had no sympathy whatsoever. And then had the nerve to tell me it says they close at 5 on the door. I scheduled the appointment ONLINE. How in the hell could I have looked at the door prior to going. Pretty sure this is the same person that gave me such a hard time about my tire warranty a few months ago. And if you really do close at 5 then your website shouldn t allow people to make appointments. That s a pretty simple concept.

Wonderful customer service and commitment to doing a thorough and complete job!We ended up coming to this location after an experience at a different location. Jamie was incredibly helpful and they were able to solve the problem and honor our warranty. They went above and beyond in every aspect of customer service and kept us up to date as they worked on our vehicle. I can t say enough about their problem solving and willingness to redo all of the work that had previously been done elsewhere. We were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of our interaction and their work was wonderful! I will trust them again and again!

This place is a joke!!! Why do they allow schedule appointments since they are not able to honor that? It is a simple state inspection, I went to theirs website, I specified the service that I needed and the appointment was scheduled to 9:30am. Got there a few minutes late (my fault on that), and I was surprised by a 3 hours wait for a State inspection, and for an appointment that was scheduled!!!!!!! How can they be 3 hours late at 9:30am? And when I asked why schedule, I was told that an STATE INSPECTION takes up to 1 hour!!! I am in NC since 2016, this is at least the 16th inspection and they never took more than 30 minutes!!!! Do not waste your customers time, if you are not able to honor your schedules DO NOT DO IT!!! 1st and last time, I will never comeback and you can be sure that this place I will never suggest! Thank you for nothing!Update:After this terrible experience with the Goodyear Rea Road in Ballantyne, I called the "Only Inspections, at North Polk Street in Pineville" and it was a pleasant surprise! Great service and as fast as it can be! On the phone they mentioned up to 30 minutes wait, NO SCHEDULE, just an in/out service, so, I came prepared to spend at least 45 minutes, there. From the time I parked my car to leave, it was less than 30 minutes! Of course, the wait time can change, but you can see that efforts to have the service done as fast as they can! I recommend. Thank you!If you need State Inspection, don't waste your time with this Goodyear location, go to Only Inspections, at North Polk Street in Pineville!!!!

I had to stop when they first opened in the morning on a Sunday due to a piece of metal in my tire. They got me right in as soon as they could, there were appts that came first, but it wasn't a long wait and the gentleman that checked me in and out was very nice. They didn't try to tell me I needed a new tire or sell any other services. I'm a medical travelers and had to drive 4 hrs home after working 12hrs and after reading previous reviews I was dreading it but they did a great job. I will return if I have a tire issue in Charlotte again. Thank you.

My son came here to get an NC inspection. That's all. He went in at 11:15 AM and was there until 2:00 PM. Yep, just an inspection. The bulb was out on his license plate so he needed a new one. They are on Amazon for less than $4.00, but he was charged $98.00. Do not go here unless you have plenty of time and even more money, to waste. Complete rip off. Unfortunately, they listened to my complaint about as well as my son did when I told him not to go there.

Called in to see if I could make an appointment for an alignment. Was told I don't need one and to come down. I get to shop 10 minutes after this phone call. Get an estimate and gave them my keys. Sat in the lobby for 20 minutes while my truck sat where I parked it. One other car in the entire shop, not being worked on, hood closed. Mechanics all chatting/ on their phones. I could understand if there were other cars/customers in front of me, but there was not, and nothing was being worked on. Will not return

We had been taking our minivan to this location consistently for 3 years after a good initial experience. Unfortunately they have steadily declined and now diagnose incremental services needed every time we've brought the minivan in to the point I now believe they are dishonest. Most recently, we brought in our vehicle for routine service - oil change, alignment, etc. Shortly after that was completed, we received the annual state inspection notice and scheduled an appointment for that to be completed at this Goodyear location about 3 weeks after our routine service visit (we were out-of-town most of those 3 weeks and barely drove the vehicle during that time). Unfortunately, as part of the state inspection they called and said our vehicle passed the inspection but needed alignment and many other services that were just completed at their location 3 weeks prior along with new tires and replacing a rear brake light. I told them not to re-do any of the services and we did not want new tires but inquired what their charge would be to replace the brake light. They told me it would be $90. I laughed at him and said "you're joking, right? it's a $3 bulb!" to which he agreed the bulb was low cost but clarified that it was a lot of labor required to change the bulb. Again, I laughed at him but told him not to touch my car any further or perform any services that would incur charges and I'd just pick up our vehicle. I stopped at the auto store and picked up a 2-pk of bulbs for $5 and in about two minutes I replaced the bulb myself (which required removing two screws, changing the bulb, and then re-inserting those two screws), thus saving myself about $85. I guess this Goodyear location gets away with that sort of predatory behavior with the disposable income in the area but I'm now in search of a new service shop that is more honest.

I stopped in on a Sunday because it was the only place open and close. Had a nail in my tire, on the top of the tread.I was told that it could not be repaired so I would need to get a new tire.I have an AWD vehicle so they said I actually had to buy 4 new tires at a cost of $1400.Two other people in the store had nails and were also told no repairs were possible. I left immediately. The next day I took my car to Discount Tire for a second opinion. They repaired it for free. Unbelievable how dishonest Goodyear is.

This is my first ever one star review and it is well deserved. Tried using their official link on Google Maps to set up a car care appointment. It offered me a same day appointment which I confirmed. To be sure I called the store to confirm before showing up. After answering the call I was put on hold for a good 7 minutes. When I did mange to speak to the associate he told me that they do not honor the online appointment scheduler and were full for the day. I then asked when I could make an appointment to bring my car in. The response was they they do not take appointments and it is a first come first served situation. Please - if you are a franchise location, and the franchise offers online scheduling, then honor appointments made through the official channel. Be upfront in your official published information. Sincerely disappointed.

I took my car here due to what ended up being a broken heat hose. I m a female so I m aware how some places will take advantage of that fact (that I know nothing about cars) my uncle is a mechanic but lives hours away so long story short he and I both believe I got ripped off. The diagnostic labor charge was 72.50 the labor charge to replace hose was 145 and the labor charge to fill my Freon was 73 which I never asked them to do. I wanted the problem fixed and they added on this without even explaining to me it was additional. So my bill came to 428 and 290 of that was labor. Absolutely ridiculous. I was told 1 hour and I ended up being there 3 hours. There should have been one labor charge but they ramped up my bill with 3 labor charges I wouldn t recommend or atleast make sure you get an explanation of charges and what they are planning on doing BEFORE you agree to anything

So this places closes at 6 pm and I came like at 4 pm. One of my tires were really bad and I was on the road that day and found out on the trip it had a problem. I got to the place and they denied me service. I asked them to change one tire and the guy at the desk said they were closing in 10 minutes. So long story short I drove home with a bad tire that could have caused an accident just because the guy at front desk was Lazy and didn t want to get them to change one tire

Have been going here for two years, however the last time was an awful experience. The front desk boy was not professional at all. I went here to get my car serviced for an oil change and to check the thread level. So I dropped off my car at 3:48pm and I get a call later around 4:45pm that my car was ready for pickup.When I got to auto shop about an hour later, I noticed my car was RUNNING AND ON the whole entire time so that means the engine was running for about an HOUR!!! Gas is not cheap nowadays so I told the front desk boy about how my car engine was running and on and he kept brushing it off saying okay we can take a look at that for you TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT, THE CAR IS ON AND WHY DIDNT YOU TURN IT OFF. I had to tell the boy that my car was on and running about 3 times and he kept saying the same thing trying to avoid confrontation because he knew that he messed up. All I ask for is for people to be professional at whatever job they work at but I guess this was too hard at Good year auto. After that, I asked him what tread level I had left. Again he kept saying let me check that out for you and still DID NOT TELL ME and was being distracted by something else. I proceed to ask two more times and after getting frustrated, I had to find out MYSELF . The level of professionalism has decreased by 5 FOLDS just because a young boy did not take his job seriously.

Very good customer service. As a woman, sometimes you face sexism when it has to do with cars and auto body shops. Not here. They could not be nicer. Also, very Communicative. In a customer service industry, I hold that at high regard. Call me when you say you re going to call me. I was very pleased with the service. Got a new battery, oil change, system check and tires roared for free with my specific service. I will be returning for my tires within a few months. Rates are reasonable.

I'd rate as 0 stars if that'd be possible. Was given a price over the phone and when I brought my car to the service they gave me a higher price saying they NEVER gave me the price over the phone. Do not ever go to this service. Highly NOT recommended sharp practice.

Overall good service.Just make sure about everything (order items and/ or services) if you are purchasing anything online and then getting it installed at the center. Their online system and store system is not synced.

*****Please Read*****Had a flat tire and went in for a patch. The person behind the counter said my only option was to replace all 4 tires. I thought he was joking... He said if I didn't and only changed one tire, It could lead to several thousand $ in damages down the road. Please don't tell me there are people falling for this gimic. If your visit to this establishment is causing you to question your situation, leave and go elsewhere. You will thank God later...

OMG, these guys are the worst of the worst. They have a web site where you "schedule" your service. But that absolutely doesn't mean anything. In fact, if it's not some big job where they completely rip you off, they will leave you hanging, maybe even for days. You call and call.. when is my car ready.. and they give you these excuses like... we had phone issue.. hahaha. they should ban by law places like these... HORRIBLE!!!

Very grateful for the excellent service today. Late this afternoon I found out one of my tires had very low pressure and we found something sharp in that tire. We arrived at Goodyear at 4:30 pm on a Sunday, just 30 minutes before they close and the manager was able to figure out how to squeeze us in for a tire fix. His team completed it before 5pm and there was no charge at all. They just got it done because they wanted to help a customer get back on the road safely. We will need new tires soon and will certainly return.

Went there for a tire change (i had a nail), rotation and oil change. I firmly believe these people did nothing. They gave me back my car said there was nothing wrong with my tire and they reset my sensors. However my tire had a NAIL in it and it WAS leaking the light came back on 2 days later.My car tells me when I need an oil change and for some reason it has not. So I took the car to the dealership and was made aware that the sensor in the car that tells me when it's time to get an oil change was turned off. (this is not something that i could have done ) because of this I missed the correct milage to get my oil changed.( they also didnt give me a sticker to tell me when the next change was due which i wasnt upset about because my car is SUPPOSE to tell me)These are the last people who touched my car ,i dont know why and I obviously can not prove this but I firmly belive they didnt even attempt to fix my car, they just turned off my sensors and gave me my car back. Idk if it is because i am a woman and they thought i wouldnt notice or if they didnt want to do their jobs that day but i will not be going back

If you want to get ripped off go to Goodyear.I came in and told them my starter is out the price estimate was $120. After doing nothing; everything they did I had already done and I knew the problem. Absolutely robbed me of $140 for absolutely nothing. They re crooks. any estimates they ever give you is going to be astronomical compared to any other car service place. If you go to Goodyear especially this one, you will pay too much. I will tell everyone I know to never ever take any vehicle there for even the slightest issue.
