Just shipped my car from California to Charlotte, NC in August. Finally needed some service. This was the first place I contacted based off of the current reviews. They are Spanish-speaking friendly, professional, and Casey the front desk was great. They were able to accommodate me last minute with fair pricing and fast service. They also informed me of the current status of my car overall and recommended some necessary services for next time. They were not pushy of services nor try to sell me any extra products. Happy I have found this establishment as my go-to-place for all car servicing needs. Highly recommend!

My experience has been good here. The service has often been quick, communicative & honest about the work needed done. The shop really does stand by their work. I would highly recommend to give them a try. Had new alternator put on and timing belts. Also is proof of the old parts taken off and replaced.

The only place around me that doesn't require a week heads up for a simple oil change. The staff was friendly and helpful. Price was what you actually expect it to cost instead of some of the inflated CLT market prices. Bonus, they had liquidmoly oil which is great stuff. Oil change was sub30 minutes.

Came in for an oil change! Very professional service. Even helped with lights on the dashboard that have been on for years. Recommend what to do with inexpensive cost. Rico was excellent. I told him my issue that I was having with my truck. He found more issues and literally fixed my truck. My truck is running better than before. This is my new shop if I need anything done to any of my vehicles. I'll definitely refer him to anyone. I have been in Charlotte for 3 yrs now & every time I have had my car fixed I have always brought it to Golden Piston from S.Tryon to Commonwealth Ave . They have always did an excellent job . Fast .reliable work .plus they be truthful with you instead just fixing a certain thing for you just to come back I recommend everyone come over here to get their car fixed.Services: Brakes, Air conditioning

Can't say enough about this shop...called at 2:30 pm on a Saturday about a thermostat problem with my truck and they got me in the same day and not only took care of the problem, they replaced (4) brake pads that were basically gone and they did it all for a reasonable price. Their website stated that they close at 4:30 on Saturdays but they stayed open until 6 to get the work done. Definitely my new go-to auto shop!

I am impressed with the speedy work when they fix the horn on my scooter and the foot pedal on my lady's car. Thank you guys for the amazing work in the affordable prices. I came here to get a new oil cooler in my car. They replaced the oil cooler, made sure I had full oil life, they even vacuumed my car out!! Definitely recommend coming to these guys, they are going to make sure they take care of you!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I called because my a/c was blowing out warm air and Victor was able to get me in the next morning. Once I arrived at the shop Victor told me he d call within an hour with the diagnosis(bad a/c compressor). He actually called me way earlier than an hour and told me he could have it ready that same day and he did! My husband and I will now have our vehicles serviced with this company. Thanks Victor!

Went in for a quick oil change. This is so much more convenient than driving out to the dealer and waiting hours.Rico, the manager is efficient and polite. Great neighborhood addition.

I went to Golden Piston a few weeks ago to get my Lexus repaired. Golden Piston was the only mechanic shop in the area that was able to see me immediately. Victor recommended other repairs on my car, but knew which ones were considered major/urgent. He is very experienced and honest, which is rare for many mechanics when working with female clients. He was able to fix my car within one day and it was also within a reasonable price. I will definitely be returning for future services.However, be forewarned that they don t have a waiting room, and they don t have loaner cars as advertised on their website, so you ll want to make sure that you have someone available for pickup/drop off, or get an Uber.

LADIES: skip other shops in town with condescending techs and just call Giselle. I have been turning a wrench since 12 and still can't get a lick of respect from any of the shops I've tried in Charlotte the past two years, but it was a totally different experience when I called Golden Piston! Giselle was respectful, happy to explain/set expectations with my less car-literate fiance, and communicative throughout the process.Never felt any pressure for the optional repairs - and they got our car back before my fiance's big meeting Tuesday! I am new to Charlotte and the guys at Golden Piston (Victor and Daniel in particular) were fantastic. I had gone to the dealer with transmission issues and was quoted $7k for a full replacement. Golden Piston fixed my car for under $400 and had it back to me in 2 days, and on a holiday weekend. They saved me so much money, time, and peace of mind. Im from LA, CA came to NC to visit and decide to take my car here to get it check and ready to head back home, Nice place to get your car check! Came here 4 days ago to do oil change, AC flush and recharger plus change my spark plugs and the job was done and less than 45 minutes and the price was just right.. highly recommend just give them a chance and I don t think you ll be disappointed..

Victor was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and professional. He easily diagnosed the issues we were having (leaky AC compressor, worn bearing, warped brake rotor) and fixed all the issues within a day. He was one of the few places available on a Sunday and took us on short notice. Highly recommend this place!

Nothing but positive feedback. Called on Saturday with an issue and got in the same day and was done very quickly. Needed to follow up and they were there again right away. No issue with these people and would highly suggest trying them out.
