I unfortunately was involved in an MVA back in August, which was what brought me to this location. I'm glad I did, though. Amanda from the front desk was ALWAYS super responsive and friendly and answered any and all questions I had. When it came time to drop the vehicle off for its repairs, they kept me updated along the way with time frames and what they might be waiting on. Even if I did have a question or just wanted another update, a quick email would he respond in a timely manner or even just a quick phone call as well. We did have a couple of bumps along the way with the insurance company, but Greg had no problem trying to communicate with them over and over again to help it get resolved for me. They do the best they can with any situation and help you as much as they can. They do offer a lifetime guarantee on anything they fixed, so that is always a plus. I had to come back to get something else checked, which they graciously stated they had no problem checking it out for me. I definitely recommend this location if you happen to need them for anything vehicle wise. They definitely give it to you straight and give you recommendations on what you should do. They do have a huge parking lot with plenty of parking spaces to choose from as well. They are located right off Independence.

Horrible service! I scheduled an appointment over two weeks ago and was informed my window for my Mercedes was ordered and would come in today. My appointment was scheduled for tomorrow. I waited all this time to be informed today, that it was never ordered. He didn t even know about the type of tint I had on it. Now I m being told even if they can do it, I have to get someone else to do the tint on it when originally I was informed the window would come matching my other windows.Service: Auto glass repair

Gerber did repairs for 2 separate insurance claims for me (at the same time). They replaced and repaired fairly extensive damage (rear and passenger side). Greg and Amanda were fantastic to work with. Amazing communication (weekly text updates), very transparent about the process, and the finished product is top notch. You'd never know there was ever any damage to my Murano! The Independence location is right down the street from Enterprise wand the businesses clearly work very oswly. Gerber called Enterprise to come pick me up on the day I dropped off for repairs. And when I came to pick up my car at completion, I was able to leave the rental at Gerber and Enterprise picked up later that day.I highly recommend Gerber for any collision repair work!Service: Body & Trim

The personalized, friendly and professional Care at Gerber Collision & Glass on East Independence Blvd. was exceptional. Amanda was absolutely fantastic with scheduling my repair in a fast and satisfactory manner. The repair estimate was done quickly and accurately. The repair itself with done quickly and timely. Amanda kept me appraised of the progress of repair and when the car would be ready using multiple text messages. The finished product was like new. Additionally my car was cleaned and spotless when I picked it up. I could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend Gerber Collision & Glass on Independence Boulevard without reservation. Kudos and five stars!

My car was backed into so it needed a new bumper and paint job. The staff was very friendly and kept me updated on my car's progress. The best part though was when I got into my car and found that they had vacuumed and cleaned it. Might not seem like a big deal to most, but I'm just shy of 9months pregnant. Cleaning my car was high on my to do list, but if you've ever been pregnant or around a very pregnant lady you can understand how cleaning a car is a difficult task to get done. I have four dogs and my car was kind of a hot mess (to put it nicely). Words can't describe how that extra mile they went really helped me out. Now I can put my car seat in the car and get that all set up! Highly recommend using them!Service: Painting

The team was phenomenal in handling my issue. Although Geico has failed on certain aspects with their adjustor not communicating with me, the team at Gerber Collision and Glass, Amanda, Kevin, and Michelle, really went above and beyond to make my repair as easy as possible and remain committed to fixing all issues with the vehicle from the wreck. There are only a few outstanding issues but will deal with Geico on this matter due to the adjustor failing to relay communications and effectively communicate with me.Amanda was absolutely phenomenal though! She really made this entire 3 1/2 month process easy for me where I was able to not stress or lose my patience with the number of things going on and the last worry I wanted to deal with is wondering when I would get my vehicle back. Amanda is an absolutely phenomenal and outstanding asset to the Gerber team in Charlotte! She made the entire customer journey experience from beginning to end superb and I hope her skills, mindset, and talent is documented and taught to other locations to give all customers this amazing A+ service!Also, a massive shout out to Kevin! He really made my worries dissipate and took extra care to make sure I would walk away worry-free and if any issues arise, he would happily be open to assist in identifying the issue and ensuring my car is back to normal condition prior to the accident. The time and patience he has are astounding, and I do hope it is recognized by all how peaceful he makes any situation. I recently got into an accident and was in the process of looking for a Collision company to do business with. I walked into this organization and was immediately met with well, do you have an appointment, which I m unaccustomed to needing for quotes, when I told her no she then proceeded to ask me about my insurance and said well, they d wanna do their own quote anyway. If you don t want my business, just say so. She did her very best to assure that I went elsewhere and that is exactly what I did. They had a Now Hiring sign in the window. Hopefully they re looking for her replacement one who has some actual customer service. Such an unfortunate experience.

I had never been in a collision before, and I anticipated all sorts of complexity and drama. Not at all. None. If having a collision and getting repairs can ever be pleasant, then this is the place to do it. They handle everything, and they deliver parts and service exactly as described. I hope I never have to do this again, but if I do, this is where I will go.Service: Body & Trim
