They failed my inspection and charged me for it saying it would be 350 dollars to fix the issue I took it elsewhere to have it fixed way way cheaper. and when I brought it back (in North Carolina reinspection is no charge at the same place) they refused to inspect it unless they did the repairs. That is not only a terrible business practice it is also illegal.Update: I emailed the address below but I doubt that will stop this location from doing this as many people would not of known it was a completely unneeded repair my guess is this is a standard practice.

We have brought our cars here recently (mainly because we have a Firestone cc and we like having the warranty for our tires) and we had good experiences so far.Sometimes is hard to get through the phone with them but the front desk employees have always been polite.

They do not respect my time. If I make an appointment to have a simple tire rotation and alignment done... that should easily be completed in an hour, if not 30 minutes.Instead, 2 hrs. Work on my car wasn't started in a timely manner. Then the mechanic stopped working on my car, which was on the lift, and pulled a different car in behind mine. He started working on the other car as a higher priority apparently. When I raised this to the attention of the guy running the desk, he just stared blankly at me like he had no control. When he spoke to the mechanic, he just came back and said, it will be another 30 min... not true, it took longer. They should have resumed work on my car, had another mechanic either work on the other car or simply move it out of the way until mine was finished.On top of that... stop wasting time trying to find other ways to upsell customers. Just do the work that was requested, do it well and in a timely fashion... your customers will appreciate that more and return.Extremely frustrating.

Had rotors put on my car a little over a year ago and now they are bad. Was told rotors needed to be replaced, again. How do rotors go bad after only driving 13000 miles. Other mechanics told me they were defective to begin with and should be warrantied by manufacturer. Firestone wouldn t do anything.I would not recommend Firestone for anything. Another customer in the waiting area told me he had the same issues.

The people I dealt with were professional, informed and timely. The location was very clean and the overall service was great. No pressure to be upsold, No issues with the services provided and the cost seemed reasonable.

This location is outstanding. I ve taken all of my vehicles here for maintenance/ Service. As a woman, I m usually uncomfortable coming to any shop to have my cars worked on because I m always afraid they re going to try and upsell me. I ve never had that issue here. The manager, Pete, always respects my time and takes care of me every time I come in.

While traveling from Virginia last year, my 2018 Nissan Murano decided to lose it's transmission. The manager ordered my parts, put his best transmission tech on it and took care of the problem. In addition, he changed my oil, rotated my tires and had it washed.I was so thankful for people that knew how to do their job!Rea Road, I give you 5 big stars for all your help!

Not sure why they take so many appts...they never get done in a timely manner. Tire repair shouldn't take over 2 hours...and TBH I don't think they have looked my car yet after 2 hours. I'll be looking for another place for auto repair.

Got a flat at 521 and Ballentyne commons. Rolled around the corner initial to reach the gas station to review the situation, plug and air etc...low and behold, Firestone next door. Pulled in at 3:30, told the truck would be ready by 7:30, no problem..no appointment placed by me. Received a call at 6:45 letting me know the truck was ready. Great! On my way now. Oh...we close at 7pm...hung up. Mind you I live in Indianland and anyone reading should appreciate the traffic lights at traffic. Arrived at 6:59 to their surprise after some enthusiastic driving with my dad on-board. They were still there, doors locked and vehicle in their bay with the lights shut off. They fixed the issue, we got the car out...but the lack of notice and the times provided were HILARIOUS. Service was provided as promised, but that is not customer service.

Been here several times and perhaps twice it's been a pleasant experience. The other times they've been rude and arrogant. Sadly I keep using them because of the convenience, but wouldn't recommend.EDIT:Just used this place again this morning (August 2017). Changing from a two to four stars. Different employees working and a completely different experience. Very courteous and polite, and extremely quick. Quite impressed.

Dropped off car for a routine oil change and never got a call to let us know it was finished. 3 hours later when I called to check on it, they told me they closed early! No one bothered to call me to let me know.

I've been to this location frequently and haven't had a problem with them yet. They were quick, honest, and explained everything. Waiting area is nice.

This is my first and last time in this place. I came in the morning to change the oil, rotate the tires, and do the state inspection. After spending more than two hours and returning home, I discovered that the tires did not rotate, and when I returned to them, the tires were rotated without making any tires balance. also they found less than 1/16 inches of puncture and they said you have to replace it to get pass I showed the mechanic the NC State regulations for safe tiers and are not applying to me he said go to another place and do it

After sitting here for almost 3 hours, I was told that the vehicle needs a new hose and that they won t be able to get to me until tomorrow meanwhile I had an appointment for 1 PM I feel every time I come here they always wanna upsell you for something else and never respect my time

I had a terrible experience with Firestone after having a flat tire. I called them for an appointment, they replied they were not scheduling appointments but assured me that if I brought my car in, they would take care of it the same day within 1.5-2 hours.When I arrived there at noon, was informed that the tire repair would take longer, around 3 hours. I asked if I could get an oil change too and still have my car back the same day. They assured me it would still be done that day. However, I received no updates from them until I decided to call at 3:30. I was left waiting for 8 minutes on hold, only to be told that my car might not be attended to that day. This was incredibly frustrating, as I had already been assured twice that they would fix it on the same day. I told the person on the call at 3:30 PM that I expected my car to be attended to as there were still hours left before their stated closing time and it was already too late to seek help elsewhere. I had relied on their assurances throughout the day otherwise I would ve chosen a different place to fix it.Since I didn t hear from them after that call, I decided to visit their location at 5 PM. The same person I had spoken to earlier returned my keys and shockingly suggested that I schedule an appointment for the following day! I reminded him that I had called and there were still two hours before their stated closing time at 7 PM. I also mentioned that I did not feel safe driving my car in that condition, plus their lack of efficiency had cost me time, a significant amount of money on Ubers, plus I had to take time off work. But he just repeated that I can bring my car in tomorrow and claimed that he tried to inform me about the situation when he called me at 3:30. I had to confront that the call was by me not them and my Caller ID has a record of that!When I requested to speak to a manager, I was told they had already left for the day because it is end of the day, despite it being only 5 PM and their closing time being 7 PM.I am really disappointed with Firestone's service and communication. Had I known about all similar experiences that I later saw in their reviews I would have never chosen them in the first place.

My Y s tire had a leak cause of a nail. We took the car in on a long weekend Saturday at 3 PM. The team warned us that they were very backed up and may not be able to get to the car that day; but we needed the car on Sunday (the location was closed for Easter on Sunday), so they went above and beyond to repair the tire that day.The front staff is very welcoming. We come to this location many times - and each time the experience is better than the last. A fantastic team here!Service: Tires

Three trips to get a slow tire leak plugged with no success. Each time was told was fixed and different reason why they missed it the previous visit. Really?Then I noticed car up on rack and told battery, all 4 tires, and transmission fluid needed replacement for nearly $5k. No wonder they are so slow. I only wanted them to plug the tire.Took my car to my regular shop, tire plugged in just a few minutes and told other than oil change all was good. Don't waste your time and money on getting up sold and not getting the issue fixed.

Friendly service and comfortable atmosphere. I was able to watch movies while I waited. It's also by nearby restaurants and shops to go to if you have to wait. Quick service and great recommendations for my vehicle.

Came in on an appointment for a tire repair that was scheduled to be no more than an hour. It took almost three times as long. Positive is that the repair was made and I was not charged due to the long wait. Staff are very polite and friendly.

Horrible experience. Took our car in for new tires. We needed it done that day. Was shown the inventory list on their screen. We picked the tires that were in stock. They were slightly mor expensive but we needed this done as we had one tire that had a puncture. Called at 5 pm and was told it was ready. I dropped my wife off. She called 10 minutes later to tell me know they hadn t started. Would be another hour. They called at 7 pm, Actually they were not in stock, had to wait until the next day. I had to travel that morning so my wife had to use Uber to get to her job. Avoid this place at all costs.Service: Tires
