Went to this place on 11/28 to do an alignment on my 2012 Mazda 5.Next day I checked the tie rods and saw that those guys didn t put tie rod boots correctly,why even bother right????When those boots will brake water and dirt will ruin my tie rods. Nice job guys!For all that great service I paid $128.And these people called them self a business.The saddest part that I greased boots for them. I guess it doesn t help if you deal with incompetent people.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

This afternoon, 2 and a half hours after I was told my car would be ready, on my second arrival to get my car. Anthony at the front desk advised me that they still had not completed the work and it would be an additional half hour or I could bring it back another time. I told him that I amalready headed out of town tomorrow morning without having my car inspected, as requested on drop off and unfortunately, was forced to wait on my car. I then told him that this experience had been very difficult. I was told again that they had someone leave who was "supposedly sick" (his words). I told him that a modicum of communication at any point in the day would have been very helpful. His response was that his phone has been ringing off the hook all day. Then he looked at me, shook his head and said "it is what it is", pivoted and walked into the service area. When I tell you that in the dozen years I have been taking my cars to Firestone, I have never had anyone be so rude and so dismissive. Everyone has bad days. Life is complicated. But it is not unreasonable to express my dissatisfaction in a calm and reasonable way. To essentially be told to blow it out my ear is unconscionable. My feedback for this location? Communicate, and grow up, most feedback is not personal, and choosing to be rude and nasty with customers is not going to change the tone of your day.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service we were shown at this firestone. I got a flat tire and called this location around 1:30pm to let them know and ask if they could fit me in for a tire patch. I let them know it would likely be around 3:00pm because of the towing service and not only repeated this twice but also asked if that would be okay given that they close at 5:00pm because I really needed this done today. They said it would definitely be doable. I had the care towed all the way there and arrived at 2:45pm. Not only did they say they no longer could do it, the person at the front desk was also extremely rude when questioned about the previous phone call and asked if there was any way to fit it in before the end of the day. Will not be going back here.

A few months ago this location repaired my right arm control and left a bolt loose creating an extreme safety hazard. When I returned to have the bolt tightened they hassled me and try to intimidate me by questioning if I knew the difference between right and left. The person at the front desk pulled me into the busy shop and pointed at my car asking me which side was the right side, while the men circling around were laughing. As a woman it s already intimidating to take my vehicle into be worked on but to be spoken to in such a condescending and misogynistic way is so appalling. If you re a woman I recommend you do not go to this shop or any Firestone. All of this hassle for a 3 min repair and nothing to offer me. I will never be returning to this company.

Seems to have a high turnover rate. Never get the same person. They didn't have the equipment to reset the suspension sensors and recommended that I take my vehicle to the dealer to complete the installation. Forgot to rotate the tires too.On another trip they severely scratched the paint on a small access panel.Everyone here seems frantic and overwhelmed.

Went to get a tire patched because of a nail stuck in it. Firestone took an hour and a half to tell me they wanted me to replace the entire tire instead of patching it.Went to a different tire shop to get it checked out. Apparently, it was just a nail head stuck in the ridges on the tire, and the tire wasn t even actually punctured.Firestone would have charged me about $300 for a new tire and kept my car for four days, for something that wasn t even an issue.

It's interesting to know that, for the second time now, there seems to be a slight hiccup in registering my appointment. Despite my diligent efforts in contacting customer service and ensuring everything is set, I'm met with the unexpected revelation that "there's no record of your appointment in our system." It's truly remarkable how my time and adjustments to my work schedule have been, shall we say, "overlooked" on multiple occasions. One might begin to wonder about the efficacy of the system in place.UPDATE: Well, isn't this a surprise? After reaching out, customer service was all smiles and assurances, promising that the store manager would give me a call within two days to sort out my issue. And then? Absolute silence :) So, with boundless optimism, I went into the store for the THIRD time, repeating my story yet again. This time, I was treated to an even more delightful display of rudeness and defensiveness. It's become crystal clear that Firestone, as a whole, is off my list for good. I would never trust them with my vehicle and I'd advise anyone to think twice before entrusting theirs.

I ve been meaning to share my experience. I took my car in to get a diagnostic check because my car would turn off on me when going at low speeds .the guy told me he didn t know what the codes meant on the machine and recommended me not to drive the car and to take it to a dealership which I would also have to pay for another diagnostic check .he then charged me roughly 125$ .After not knowing the codes to the diagnostics machine, I don t think I will be back to this location ever again because it seems to me he just plugged the machine in and then told me he doesn t know the codes then to charge me for it seems not right.

I have been with Firestone Park Rd for many years and have seen management change several times and a significant decline in customer service and basic knowledge of cars. But the most horrific part of this all was how they treated me. Out of the blue, a guy who put oil in my car a month ago spilled it on my engine. I was terrified as it's unsafe to spill oil on your engine as it can cause a fire. He said it wouldn't, wiped the car engine, and walked away. I went back to have more oil added to my car again, and he saw me again now two months later, only this time, his colleague was helping me and made a comment screaming out, make sure her engine doesn't go on fire! Out of nowhere! Downright confrontational, unprofessional, and a form of bullying. I complained to the manager, and he just stared at me, saying nothing. And I spoke to the guy who was rude and told him how unprofessional that was to say to a customer. The manager was making faces behind my back, and I caught him. These are disgusting, poorly-raised sub-humans that have no respect for women. I felt bullied, ignored, and severely disrespected. I reported them to corporate and will never return there again.

I was very happy that they got my car in quickly even though they told me it may be a few days, and communicated quickly. I did not like that they called me and told me the total cost it would be for repairs (I double checked in asking that they were telling me the total amount not just the part cost) and when I came to pick my car up it was $100 more; I understand there are fees, but I was careful and clear to ask about total cost and I feel I was purposefully given only the cost of the battery, but was told it was the full cost of services. Anything like that puts a bad taste in my mouth, so I'll likely be going elsewhere in the future.

Went there to get air put in my tires. The staff was so nice and helpful. The guy's name that serviced my car's tires was named Carlos. He was very professional and personable. The service was free so I did tip him. I suggest any service they offer for free the right thing to do is tip them! If I need air again in my tires I'll go back to them.

While traveling on I-77, I experienced tire damage near this Firestone Auto Care. My tire popped and went flat. Reggie, a service specialist, was able to fit me into their schedule. He was extremely nice, caring, and professional. It did take awhile to get to the tire repaired, but Reggie recommended an awesome restaurant. Julian, the mechanic, let me know that there was also damage to the car s alignment and to the tire s air valve. Richard, another service specialist explained all issues to my husband over the phone. Richard was knowledgeable and professional. Thank you for getting through this experience and helping me on my way. I really appreciate all you guys did to make the day better and help me get back on the road.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Maybe I shouldn't leave a review because I didn't actually get to be serviced. Came in needing a tire patched that had already been taken off my car. The guy that helped me at the counter was great, said the first appointment for a tire patch while I waited was EIGHT days out. Are you serious? Not a chance to take 20min in the next week? Hell, I'll even put the tire back on!

Made appt on Friday for 4 tires and inspection on Tuesday. We were told it would take about 2 hours and they would call me when finished. Only took 1 hour and 45 minutes. Got a good price on the tires and the whole process was great.Service: TiresService: Tires

***Edit: original post 2/24***Pretty disappointing service. Took my car in for a flat tire. When inquiring about what service was needed, I explained to the person at the counter I was interested in potentially getting two new tires since at my last inspection I was told I had 40% tire life left. I was told, "If we can patch it we will. We will call you if new tires are recommended."I pick my car up later that day, to find out they had patched the tire. Not a big deal, but would have been nice to know. As I drive home, my car starts to shake as I get to around 60mph. I'm not mechanic, but that screams the tires weren't balanced. Take my car back the following week, and explain what happened. The Service Manager tells me, "two tires were recommended, but you declined, and we balance all tires after each service."I end up having all four tires replaced...because it was something I knew was going to be necessary eventually. I'm told I'd get 10% off, and the total would be around $730.We agree, and later that day I return to get my car and their credit card machines are down. I'm told to go get cash or have the desk associate write down my credit card information and they will manually enter the card information when the system comes back up. (pretty sure this is not the best practice with confidential client information.)TWO days later, I look at my online banking and see I've been charge $912, almost $200 more than what I was quoted. No receipt, no communication. I call and have the receipt sent over. When I was quoted initially, I asked for the total price. Why would anyone ask for anything else? In their verbal quoting they didn't mention anything about labor being excluded, leading me to believe the total for my tires was in the $730 range.Now, I've had a tire patched that was replaced two days later and have been mislead into believing what my services should have cost.All seems too shady.***Edit 3/9***Emailed the customer service email provided on 2/24, and still no response. Guess I shouldn t be surprised given the service I received initially.Service: Tires

I called and scheduled a brake inspection. That service is free. Instead, I received and was charged for an unnecessary full vehicle inspection. They had my car for over 3.5 hours for what should have been a brake inspection and replacement of just the front brakes. The service advisor blatantly lied to me when I let them know I did not schedule nor consent to a full vehicle inspection by saying it was standard procedure.This isn't my first time or first issue with this location. I won't be back and will be reaching out to corporate to file a formal complaint.

I had an unfortunate surprise when 3 of my 4 tires needed replacements and the wheel bearing was shot on one of my wheels. The cost was expensive overall (not the team's fault) but they took care of all my repairs same-day so I could make my trip back out of town that was pre-scheduled. Much appreciated to the entire team for great communication but Eric was exceptionally great to work with and helped me each step of the way.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

I paid around $700 for brake work, rotors, and an oil change. Car has driven bumpy ever since, and my check oil light came on less than a month later. They blamed a sensor for the low oil notification, so I took to the Audi dealer who confirmed no leakage and I was 2 quarts low on oil. Interesting to be low on oil less than 2k miles later and with no leak.This is after i took my care there the day prior and they let it sit for 6 hours so I had ro bring back the next day so it would be seen. Just a poor experience overall even though it was pleasant as they took my payment.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes, Oil change

Angel is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. While assisting me in a 2nd flat tire in two weeks, he was kind to the technician working on a soda machine. The person dropped a 20oz bottle that rolled out onto the floor, and Angel didn t hesitate to pick it up and hand it back to the technician. He reached out to another customer who had been sitting, just to say hello. All while making sure my tire warranty was in check for the replacement at zero charge for the new tire. He is the customer service you want for any location. Positive, helpful and insightful. That s Angel. Thank you for the great experience! I ll return.

This shop has shown the best expertise and customer service I could ever ask for!Every one from the operator to the welcome desk attendant and the manager are so eager to help you, they literally set the benchmarks for expertise and customer satisfaction. I ve been going there for 10 years.My wife recently had a piece of metal in her tire, they advised her to patch it and did not charge her. My wife is no expert and another shop might easily have take advantage of the situation, and sold her a new one.On the other hand I had a shrapnel in the sidewall (borderline) and they honestly recommended to replace it. Very professionally - I knew that, I worked for a tire manufacturer for 12 years.More good things to say about scheduling. They are always on time for our appointments and will call you when your vehicle is ready they even work Sundays.Literally the best automotive shop I ve ever been to.

Worst place ever! My sister had her car here for half a day and they never checked her fluids or anything. They don t care about peoples cars they just get what they can done and give the damn thing back.

Had a nail in my tire and needed help quickly and they had my car for 48 hours. Put my car in the back of the line once I told them I did not want 4 new tires. No one was honest with me and ended up paying $10 for them to put my spare tire on so I could take it somewhere else. No awareness that they re taking someone s car that prohibits them from going to work. No urgency what s so ever.Service: Tires

I went to this location after work to see if they could check the brake pads on my rear end tires to let me know if I need them to be replaced. The man that came to the front desk was unwilling to look at them and stated that I need to make an appointment and didn t have anything until next week. I asked if they take walk in and while he said they do he stated that I can drop my car off in the morning. Not sure why he couldn t take me as a walk in then since the whole lobby was empty and none of the cars in the shop were being actively worked on. Thanks.

Have had poor experiences here in the past and will not use for my personal car. Took my fleet vehicle here for a 10am appointment. An APPOINTMENT for a simple oil change and inspection. They just called and said they won t be able to get to it and need to keep it overnight. Truly terrible customer service here. Will not use again.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I will not be back at this location. I went there a few months ago and received excellent service went back today it was literally night and day. I scheduled an appointment over a week ago for 8/28. I went yesterday and there was a sign on the door stating that they were closed. I understand things happen but send an email or text to the clients that had scheduled appointments but nope our time wasn t taken into consideration. I go today to see if they would be able to do my alignment and the guy who was working the desk was really just a jerk. I understand that they re understaffed many companies are these days that doesn t mean to be dismissive and short with your customers. Also whoever initially scheduled me didn t even have my info in the system. He probably just told me he was putting me in the books and forgot! Unacceptable. Honestly if I hadn t already paid for the lifetime alignment I wouldn t use any of the North Carolina Firestones anymore . The customer service is sub par throughout the company these last few months.Service: Wheel alignment

Do NOT use this Firestone. I can't even remark on their service because they FORGOT to provide it! I needed new tires (pretty desperately, I might add) and after a tricky process of securing an appointment, I dropped it off and told them I wasn't in a rush, I just needed it done by end of day. I tried calling several times when I didn't hear from them, but the phone just rang off the hook. I finally made the trip there minutes before closing time because I was pretty certain it would be done, and they looked at me, puzzled, and admitted they had forgotten to service my car. It just sat on the lot all day, and now I'm back at square one in trying to figure out new tires. Will never use Firestone again and you should not either.
