I can t say enough good things about these guys. I have a 2005 LX470 that needed a new suspension and new power steering lines. Mike and Dave were up front and honest about everything. No gotcha charges. They had my car for about a week while they were fixing everything and Mike provided updates every few days. My car rides like it s brand new all thanks to Dynamic Auto Works. Going forward I will only use them when I need auto work!

Awesome staff, family-owned business that had me in and out in a day and a half. Businesses like these deserve to thrive, they seem to legitimately care about their customers and retention- and especially in the city of Charlotte that is a rare trait. Will be bringing my car here moving forward for all service and repairs.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! If you re looking for a reliable shop in Charlotte then trust me , this is the spot. I brought two BMWs there to get fixed. The shop fixed my cars and they did so at a decent price. Very Professional staff 10/10.

Highly recommend coming to this Auto Shop! My car slowly stopped working yesterday and had the oil and engine light on so I had it towed there this morning to figure out what the issue was. Mike explained all of my car troubles clearly and did not try and upcharge me on things I didn't need to get.

Dave and crew came highly recommended but every time I took my car in something else would break within a couple of days.I initially went in for an AC diagnosis and when I got my car back the engine was misfiring (ignition coil needed to be replaced). The next repair was to replace a valve cover gasket and power steering pump. It took two days before the power steering hose breaks, which was another costly repair (labor) for repairing something in an area they were just in.A few weeks later I noticed my car was still leaking oil (valve cover gasket), and when I popped the hood to check, I saw the vacuum hoses were not connected and had the plastic clips broken off in them, the vacuum cylinder itself was loose and in the wrong location, and the bolt to another ignition coil was halfway off and the coil was not set in properly (now I'm thinking about the earlier misfiring incident).Over all, these were expensive repairs that never seemed to get completely fixed (valve cover still leaking oil). I'm sure there are people who had a great experience with Dynamic Auto, but I would never go there again.Services: Engine repair, Air conditioning

This was my first time here and I love them. Down to earth, honest people who know their business. I've had so many bad experiences with automotive places in the past, that I am extra cautious now a days. These folks clearly want repeat business by being reputable and affordable. The two things I want in automotive care! I'll be back and I'll be sending others their way.Had to update my review. I left my first review 3 years ago. After having dealt with the team here at Dynamic for several years, I have to reiterate how good they are. They care about their customers. They have saved me $$$$ over the years that other places said I needed to spend when I didn t. They even drove an hour away to help me when I had brake issues. I can t say enough good about David and his group at Dynamic Auto!

My Jeep was making a squeaking noise and I couldn t pinpoint where it was coming from. I took it to another shop that couldn t come up with an exact answer but recommended hundreds of dollars in repairs. I decided to get a second opinion from these guys and I m so glad I did. It was $45 to diagnose the problem, which they subtract from your repair cost. It turned out to be something very minor that needed tightening and the cost to repair did not exceed the diagnostic fee. Such a relief! They fixed it in less than 2hrs and the owner gave me a ride home while I waited. Not to mention, they have the most adorable shop dog! Will definitely be back!

Long overdue review. I have a 2010 Jeep SRT8 and recently moved to Charlotte, NC. Been searching for a mechanic that I can trust in the area. Found Dynamic Auto Works and saw on one of the images my exact same car parked out in front of the shop. Been dealing with transfer case issues ever since I owned the car, but back when the car was under warranty mopar kept replacing it with the same junk mopar transfer case. I called Dave and explained to him my situation. With in a day he got back to me and couldn t be more friendly and professional and had me come in with the car. He knew exactly what to do and had all the professional connections in the industry to get the right part for the car and had the issue fixed with in a week. Was almost ready to sell my car as I thought this transfer case issue would never go away, but since meeting Dave and bringing my car in to get fixed, it has been driving like new and I have finally been able to enjoy driving it with out the worries of the transfer case going bad. Not only was he able to diagnose the issue right away, but he quoted me an extremely fair price and was fully transparent throughout the process. Glad to know I have someone I can trust with my automotive issues and will certainly be coming back with any issues I have in the future. Would recommend Dave and the staff at Dynamic Auto Works to anyone in the area, truly professional, genuine and great people to work with.

A review long overdueI'm not mechanically inclined enough to even reiterate the specific issues I was having. The same is true for the eventual solution, although I can remark the service was great, thorough, and cost efficient - topped off with an accommodating atmosphere.Will definitely return, if and when the need arises.

I was blown away by how friendly, professional, and affordable this place was. I needed a few things replaced and the price was a fraction of what it would be at other places. As a young woman, sometimes when I walk into car places, they see me as a target to rip me off in multiple ways, but that didn t happen here. This crew communicated well with me and made a stressful situation a breeze and now my car runs better than it ever has:) they even turned off my light on my dash for me and i appreciate the hell out of that! 10/10 recommend and will be returning.

Had oil change done on my GL 450 and service cost $45 less than a nearby chain service place charges for a European oil service. They have always provided my vehicles with excellent service with no pressure on any recommendations they provide. Most recommendations for additional service have been related to upcoming preventive maintenance. Also, they past services they have done have fixed the problems on the first try with pricing significantly less than a dealership. Highly recommend them!

Dave and his team did a great job! I will definitely be using them again. They had the best price, good work and a fast turn around. Straight forward and honest. For more details read our experience below...We needed 4 new tires, an alignment, rear brakes and an oil change. Called to get a price after finding this place on Google and reading other reviews. The lady that answered took down what I needed, and Dave ended up calling me back a little later, with the lowest quote I received which he was willing to email to me too. We scheduled an appointment for a few days later, showed up as they opened and left the car with them. About mid day, Dave called to let me know the original tires he quoted me for were no longer in stock with his supplier, but he got me an upgrade for the same price. Later that same night I picked up the car, which they worked hard and stayed late to finish the job the same day (this is a lot of work for one day). When I picked up the car, the cost was exactly what Dave told me it would be. No more work "needed" to get done.

These are the nicest and most honest people! We ve gone to a few different places to get the AC fixed and were told it was good to go and then it would stop working again. Dave spent 2 days running tests on the car to make sure that he knew what was wrong before he charged us anything. He was so helpful and made sure that it was good to go before sending us home. Very affordable for the amount of work that was done on the car too. It s like sitting in a refrigerator now! We will definitely be back here!

Dave and his team went above and beyond! We were set to leave back home to Michigan on 12/30/2021 after driving down for a funeral and there was an issue with my battery, as my car would not start. Dave said to bring it into him and he ll see what he can to do get us back on the road as soon as possible. He had us back on the road the next day. He squeezed us in last minute and did everything in his power to do what he could so that we didn t have a costly fix. I would recommend this place a 100x over. He even called the next day to make sure we made it home safe and that the car was running okay. I ve only had one other mechanic do this, and it was definitely appreciated! Thank you so much Dave! Highly recommend Dynamic for your auto needs! Honest, friendly, and great value. I recently moved to Charlotte from out of state, sought a trustworthy auto shop, and was lucky to find this one. The team will diagnose your issue, call you to explain it, and fix it in a timely manner. If you are like me and want to learn more about cars, their team will indulge you and take the extra time to go into detail. They made no attempt to up-sell for anything I did not need. This will be the only shop I use in Charlotte.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Window wouldn t seal and the auto shop fixed it for an affordable price. Especially compared to what the dealer said they would charge me just for diagnosis. Great owner and mechanics here.

I tried Dynamic Auto Works for the first time in September, 2017 and was very pleased with the savings, having a closer relationship with the person working on my car and that they are convenient to uptown Charlotte. I used my previous car repair shop for several decades but they developed into something that no longer fit my criteria for servicing my car and this started my search for a new mechanic. I provided my previous service statements for a comparison quote and I'm so glad that I did! There was a noticeable savings and they discovered flaws done by the chain store I was leaving. I highly recommend Dynamic Auto Works

Drove an hour one way to have my M2C detailed on the recommendation of a friend. Dave did an amazing job and I will be sure to bring my cars back here in the future. Highly recommend, looks showroom quality!

My car is at the age where I would rather not take it to the dealer anymore, but my a/c wasn't working and my air bag malfunction light was on. I saw a great review on my neighborhood site for Dynamic Auto Works. I researched them on the internet and was relieved to find so many other great reviews, so I gave them a try and I'm so glad I did! David reset my light which had come on due to the battery having run low previously and I am pleased to say I drove away with a nice chill in my car. I highly recommend Dynamic Auto Works and will be returning as my car ages.

The people at Dynamic Auto are superb. I have taken my car there three times now, and they have been extremely honest, knowledgeable and helpful every time. Unlike most of my experiences with auto shops, Dynamic Auto provides a completely transparent assessment of my car. They offer the solutions and prices for each issue. Then suggest the most efficient and low-cost way to resolve without any pressure. I live local, and they always offer to drop me off or pick me up as well. I couldn t recommend them enough.

Absolutely Amazing Auto Shop! The Owner David helped me out with Hyundai Sonata recently that was in bad shape. David and his team provides great customer service from beginning to end. He does not scam you with outrageous prices that other shops in the Charlotte area would do. I have gone to them twice and each experience has been the same. I highly recommend trying out Dynamic Auto Works before going anywhere else. I trust that when my car is with David it is in good hands.

Been here several times in the past with different vehicles, and they're always courteous, professional, and give great results. They ARE limited in some of the work they can perform (depending on specific model and type of service etc.), but everything they've done for me has been great!

We came in for an impromptu flat tire repair. We met with Dave, who was very friendly, and they made the repair in about 10 minutes. It was even better to meet the family inside. They went above and beyond by giving our 4-year-old some little toys and candy, and their little Malty Poo pup was very welcoming! Highly recommend!

I called from NH to arrange for repair on a car (2009 Volvo) in Charlotte, and from the minute Amy answered the phone I knew I was in good hands. They could not have been more accommodating. I had several phone conversations with David Laxton, who was attentive and courteous and thorough. I can not say enough good things about Dynamic Auto Works. They made a car repair from 1000 miles away as easy as if I'd been right there in Charlotte. Thank you, thank you!!!

I've been coming to Dynamic since they moved to their new location. Had a great experience here. David and his staff were very friendly and knowledgable. I compared prices to other places in the area and I got a good deal on the work and parts. They were quick and communication was great. Highly recommended. They do great work at a fair price.
