I have been in Charlotte for almost 20 yrs. Best auto repair experience ever! A pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Made sure I was included in all parts of the plan for my cars repair. Extremely personable and accommodating. I have already made recommendations!!!

DL Automotive is great!!.........My husband likes to work on our cars himself, but whenever he can't, he trusts our cars to DL......I love their convenient location and accomodating hours.......My husband makes the calls when it comes to servicing the cars, and if he's happy with DL's, that's good enough for me.

My advice is just to be aware if you choose to go here. I m assuming that they thought they could take advantage of me, because they tried to charge me $990+ tax for a tune up. Based from my experience, I think they are dishonest and greedy. I went somewhere else and saved over $500.

This establishment is the only place I will ever take my vehicles. The service is absolutely amazing. The people there are absolutely wonderful! Took my wife's car to DL 15 years ago for brakes an hour later I got a call to p/u car. Apparently it did not need brakes. Been using DL ever since. Johnathan and his team service all 5 of the cars at my home. What a great group of guys! I met the owner, Johnathan and he took care of my hard to diagnose issue. He had cost effective options. Straight forward, honest and made me understand the problem so I could make an educated decision on my repair. He had me on my way expeditiously!! They even worked with me in order to pick up my vehicle. They ended up staying after hours so I could get off of work and get my vehicle.

I took my van here as a recommendation from a friend. They told me that I needed a new motor and there was no way around it. So, I towed my van home and then took it to another mechanic whom another friend recommended and he diagnosed the issue and was able to make repairs to get the van running and it ran for years after that until I traded it. (all for much less than a new engine) So buyers beware! I don't like when people lie to get my money as my funds are limited. Maybe they're better now but back then they just wanted to get the MOST out of me that they could!

I rarely write Google reviews but Jonathan and his shop have been like family to me as my mechanics for the last few years. They've always been up front and honest, will tell me when repairs are essential or not, and have even helped guide me when purchasing a used car. I've sent tons of friends to them over the years and I'll never go anywhere else while I'm in Charlotte. Tremendous small business.

They always do a stellar job and are fair! They warranty their work, and explain everything from priority down to what can actually wait, to me that's important, that they don't attempt to place immediate fear for $$$ they have worked on all three of my cars, pt cruiser, Nissan pathfinder, and Ford focus!! Thank you guys I always recommend!

I've been taking my vehicles to DL automotive for quite some time and they've always done an excellent job. In this case I had to replace my alternator and they also replaced my serpentine belt. After replacing the alternator I noticed that the battery light kept coming back on intermittently. Once I brought it back they retested it and discovered that the alternator that they had put in was bad and needed to be replaced. They replaced it free of charge and it only took about an hour of my time. This is considering that they had to order the part from advanced Auto parts and wait for it to come. So far it's been an hour and a half since I left and no more battery light coming on. Good job!

I was referred here by another mechanic that did not do transmission work. They where able to replace my clutch in a reasonable amount of time, even though they where extremely busy at the time. The staff and owner is very friendly, open and upfront as far as cost and repair times.They worked with me even when we ran into an unexpected issue during the repair. I will use them again for any car repairs that I may have in the future. Please be advised that this is a really busy shop, so call ahead and make an appointment.

They fixed the breaks and rotors of the fleet truck on time and with gold workmanship. I definitely called ahead and arrived early.

Don t know what s going on here, they used to be good but I think they are under new management there was a guy there that would walk around with a headset all the time, back then it was good but now, I think they re just parts changers, to my car there THREE times and they still couldn t get it right, then wanted to try a part that I would have to pay for, paid over $800 and car still doesn t work right, could of just gone to the dealership for less and got it fixed right the first time. Infact I had another mechanic look at it, turns out the parts they said they changed was never changed so basically they are liars, small claims court here I come.

I've taken my jeep here 2x with the same problem, skipping and running hot. After spending over $800. It is still skipping and running hot. I had all this done at the beginning of the year and my jeep has been parked since. I told who I assume is the owner and he kept telling me he didn't experience these problems I did....I'm having to get my car towed to my hometown this week to get ot looked at again. I didn't trust them to take it back a 3rd time.

DL Automotive is the first automotive repair shop I can truly say I have been able to trust the opinions and prices of 100% of the time. Our family and friends have been taking our used cars there since 2003 and I can't believe I have taken so long to leave a review. 5 stars. Your car will be fixed right the first time and if a new part fails again they will fight for you to receive a replacement for free from the part manufacturer.

Jonathan and his team have taken care of my cars for a decade. He is honest and reliable, often reassuring me that a repair can wait or is unnecessary. If you're tired of mechanics who look to upcharge you on superfluous repairs or charge you to fix things that don't need fixing, this is the place to go. This is not in the best part of town, but it is unquestionably the best auto repair shop in town.

It was a horrible experience I had to wait almost a month for diagnosis and they didn't want to fix it had to take it to another shop to get it fixed for a mass airflow sensor and fuel filter smh never again

I have been taking my car to DL Automotive for several years. I have to say that I have never trusted a car repair shop in the way that I do DL Automotive. The staff is friendly, accommodating and the prices are reasonable for exceptional service. As long as they are around, they have a customer in me!

DL Automotive team are like family to me. When ever i have an issue with my car they have been on point. No one is perfect but DL comes close to it. Keep up the good work guys!!!

This place use to be good and honest and quick service. I think they have new people or under new management because they're rude and slow. I have used this car shop for many years and now I will never use them again.

I stopped by this place with a tire that was low on air. I was from out of town and just happened to stop here, I was glad I did. The techs couldnt find anything wrong and topped off my air for free. Seeing that I was from out of town they had the perfect opportunity to take me for a ride, but this guy were honest and helpful. We need more people like this in the world. THANKS

Good service, been customer for 25 years. Have had 3 cars last for 300k miles. They do everything from the ground up.
