This place is the BEST!! I was recommended this place by a friend for a severe scratch on my car, and am grateful I was. They were able to get me in ASAP & gave me a very fair quote. Plus they finished my car repairs a day early! I seriously cannot recommend this place enough, I won t go anywhere else!!

Excellent experience. Provided a fair quote for the repair and even got my car back to me earlier than the estimated time to complete. Finished repair looks good as new and employees were extremely helpful and nice. They even took the time to walk me through the process of the work that needed to be done when I brought the car in. They also washed my car which was a nice touch. Hopefully I never have to get my car repaired again, but if I do, I ll be coming back here.

I had to get service to my 2020 Tiguan and everything went excellently. My car looks brand new outside. They communicate well and kept me in the loop of any updates. I received my car on time. Listen to your body shop, not insurance on the ETA.Please keep in mind if you are using insurance for repairs that they have to communicate and follow through on their end. Personally, I am using Progressive and they have been slow. Had I known this I would have just paid for the repairs and handled insurance on my own but again this is not the body shops issue.

Update: the work was done on time and the repair is perfect. The most amazing thing is they charged my 15% less than the quote. They told me they saved me some money (I assume they had overestimated the cost of parts). If they had charged the quoted amount, I would have been happy and never would have known they could have charged less, in fact I really don't feel they were obligated to charge less. I will never take a vehicle anywhere else. What amazing honesty and service.Full disclosure . . . they haven't started the work yet. But I was so impressed with this shop when I got a quote. It was clean and Hunter was SUPER professional. They clearly know their stuff. I will update the review after the work is done.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My wife crashed a side of the car over the weekend. I freaked out and was very stressed. I met Tim and explained what happened. Tim was great and very encouraging he assured me the repairs were minor. He was correct, Tim ordered the Honda parts and fixed the car. Nice and efficient work. Price for the repairs was decent as well. I will go see Tim again in the future in case I have any body work that needs to be done. He is the best. A real nice guy too!

I have used Dee Gainey's for a number of years.They have repaired my car from minor dents to significant body damage.The final product is perfect, communications clear and always always deliver on what was promised.Additionally ,have excellent working relationships with insurance companies.They also a offer a first class Car Detail Services!Over all simply the best!!

Don't waste your time looking any further for a body repair shop, you wont find better than this. I have used them multiple times and always come away impressed with their service and care for the customer. Most recently I came in with minor scratches due to some branch damage, Hunter buffed these out himself and didn't charge me.

I had a minor repair that needed to be made, and without any hesitation, Tim and his team took my car right in. The job was done in no time. He was extremely kind and honest, and I could not recommend this body shop enough. This is the second time that I have brought my car in for repairs to this shop and will without a doubt return to them if needed again in the future. 10/10 recommend.

1000% recommend Dee Gainey Body Shop. I needed a dent buffed out of my bumper and called 4 places and they weren t taking new jobs for another 2.5 months. Dee Gainey got me in right away and fixed my car in 2 hours and were so reasonably priced. They fixed my car for a couple hundred dollars compared to a $1,000+ quote from the dealership. When I picked it up is was washed and shining! I would definitely recommend their efficient service!Service: Body & Trim

I had a great experience at this shop! I called and they told me to come in, and I was treated so nicely and respectfully by the team members. Especially, Tim, went above and beyond to help me fix some minor things I needed for my car. I recommend this shop!

Not only did Tim provide the cheapest estimate in all of Charlotte; he also got the job done in less than 24 hours! I am completely blown away by this level of service. Best auto body shop around! Hands down the best customer service I've ever received!After a hit and run in the Target parking lot, my insurance sent me to 2 shops that were telling me they wouldn't even order parts until they had my car sitting there as collateral at the next available service appointment in 2-3 weeks, much less how long that'd take once my car was sitting there. Dee Gainey's took a look, ordered the parts and had them overnighted, and had my car done the next day. On top of that, they cleaned the exterior and interior? Incredibly transparent, easy to work with, professional, and left my car looking far better than before the accident. Would recommend!

I am extremely impressed with the outcome of my SUV. Tim, Hunter and Team did an amazing job repairing damages to my Highlander after being rear-ended. They communicated with me during the process, completed in a timely manner and did a beautiful job matching the unique paint color. Over the years and with three drives, I have used them several times. They have been fair in pricing, the service is excellent, and the quality and workmanship is excellent. Cannot say enough good things about Dee Gaineys! The level of service here is unmatched. They always answered the phone when I called and answered all of my questions. Spoke with Tim the most, but all employees were incredibly polite and helpful. They fixed extensive damage to my car, handled everything with the insurance company, and had the car washed and cleaned up when I came to pick it up. Highly recommend this body shop to everyone!

I really can't say enough about Dee Gainey's. My fender was hit while it was parked by a service vehicle, which left a sizable dent, scratch, and chipped paint. With this being my first body shop experience since moving to Charlotte, I was pretty apprehensive about taking my car in because I didn't know of any reputable shops. I saw one of Dee's trucks on my way to work Monday morning and decided to call. I was told to drop off my car at my earliest convenience during their business hours and they would work me into their schedule. I took my car in the next morning and Dee immediately assessed my car, told me exactly what he would do to repair it, assured me he would be able to repair everything except one scratch, and even matched the quote I received at another body shop - and he told me he would have it done by Friday. Dee even drove me into Uptown for work so I didn't have to hassle with calling a ride. I received a call Thursday afternoon that my car was ready, but I was unable to pick up the same day and Dee said he didn't mind storing it overnight without any extra fee. I arrived this morning to pick up my car and was amazed at the work Dee and his crew did! The fender is completely repaired and the paint job is incredible - completely seamless. They were able to remove the dent and buff out all the scratches - even the one he said he couldn't initially, and without an additional fee! They even cleaned my car and detailed the inside which was such a nice surprise. I highly recommend visiting Dee Gainey's if you need any body work done - they listen to what you need done and they deliver on their promise. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my car!

Tim, I am posting this review and hoping you see it and can respond today. You left a message yesterday (Thursday) saying our car was finished and ready for pickup and that you were open until 4pm. I had to go out of town so my wife made special arrangements to get off work and pick up the car. She arrived at 3:30. Your shop was closed when she arrived. She called- no answer. She went to the shop next door and they tried to text you. Even though you are closed on Friday I went over this morning to make sure no one was there. I asked the shop next door to text you again and send my number. You have not responded. We really need the car for this weekend and it's putting us in a bind to not have it. We have exhausted every other way we can think of to contact you. I am hoping you see this review and can contact me. You have our numbers. I have used your shop multiple times and the work has always been first rate, but this situation is unacceptable. Please respond.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

These folks are the real thing. Local, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. They have helped me with two cars involved in accidents. One was totaled, and they worked directly with my insurance company to make all the arrangements. Two years later, my new car was badly damaged in the front end when someone pulled in front of me on South Blvd. Their work was impeccable, my car looks better than new! Again, they worked directly with insurance, they used all factory parts to replace my fancy trim and emblems, and they did a full assessment to ensure no structural damage. Excellent service, and they stand behind it.

Dee Gainey and his team repaired my BMW 535i after someone hit it. My car looks great! The turnaround was really fast and the customer service was second to none. They even called the rental company to come pick me up from the shop and called them to come get the rental when I came to get my car. They also kept me updated through the repair process. All around excellent experience and I highly recommend them. Mr. Gainey runs a terrific operation.

I recently picked up my repaired vehicle from Dee Gainey s Body Shop after someone ran into my parked car. It was a smooth process, from start to finish, and I felt a valued and important customer. Mr. Gainey always has a smile, and was most helpful and accommodating. My car looks fantastic and brand new again. I will not hesitate to return to Dee Gainey s if the need ever arises. Highly recommend!

Went to 2 other shops 1st brothers body wanted to keep my car for hours just for an estimate and said it could be broken parts which I knew wasn t true.. 2nd body shop on Remount had me wait 20 min for no service and then I came here.. Hunter is amazing he said he could give me an estimate right then and then fixed my door within 10min free of charge!! (Deer hit driver side door and knock a wire loose) Small fix for him big problem for me.. what a blessing will recommend and come too if any problems occur. Great Customer Service!!! Thanks Hunter!

I had a great experience at Dee s! They quoted me a very reasonable price for fixing chipped paint on my car door. Dee and his team fixed it in within 1 business day. Also, they cleaned the exterior off my car and polished it! It looks like it s fresh off the lot! I highly recommend this place!

I am so satisfied with my car! When I first brought it there Dee said "don't you worry about nothing I'm going to take care of you" and he did! He called my insurance for me got me in a rental and did over and above to satisfy me so did Tim a very sweet person kind and generous! Such great people and staff! I would recommend anyone in Charlotte or surrounding areas to Dee Gainey's Body Shop!

One of our cars had developed all manner of minor scratches, dings, and a couple of relative minor dents that had begun to develop rust. We took it to two body shops because their reviews were solid and Dee Gainey got our business. We could not have been happier. They did what they said they'd do when the said they'd do it. The price was reasonable and the workmanship exceeded expectations. Our car with 60K miles looks brand new. We highly recommend Dee Gainey Body Shop!

Tim was great to work with and really took care of my car after a hit and run in parking lot. He got my car looking better than new and made sure I got an OEM bumper replacement. He got the work done timely and price was a value when you see what kind of work they do. I won't go anywhere else and I recommend this shop to all.
