Hands down the BEST mechanic for BMW and Mercedes in the Charlotte metro area. I ve used Star since 2003 and would not go anywhere else! Second generation owner Dan is honest, fair, and reliable. Wonderful experience from the time I went in to inquire about having vehicle looked at. Mr Dan is a true gem, that I was blessed to come across because he happened to be in my neighborhood. And I m glad I gave him a try!!!! I did not have to spend the money I thought I had to. He evaluated the issue and said it was just a loose connection. His honesty saved me a few hundred bucks! Dan and his team diagnosed the A/C issue with our '03 E320 and contacted us promptly. Great service. All the recommendations from friends and co-workers were spot on. The price for my service was about 30 to 40 percent cheaper than the dealership and I never felt like they were trying to upsell me for more than I needed.

My first time at this facility. Everything from start to finish was a breeze - I was able to drop the car early (my Pref), was provided a clear description and estimate on cost and timing, and services delivered in time per discussions. Great team to do business with.

I was referred to Charlotte Star by another business I used after one of the local dealers cancelled my appointment twice for a one-hour minor repair. Contacted Charlotte Star and Joe got me scheduled right away. When I arrived, Dan scheduled me in routinely and Joe made the repair in about 30 minutes at the price quoted in advance. This will be my new service provider going forward.

My expectations were exceeded today. I called Charlotte Star Service about a malfunction warning on my car. They fit me in the next day. My original plan was to leave the car for the whole day however my plans changed and I asked if it could be done by noon. They apologized but said they didn t think that was possible based on how busy they were. However, they rearranged their work and had my car done well before noon. Mr Dan, and his crew are so PROFESSIONAL! They did a wonderful job, my AC is blowing cold now and brakes are GREAT!! This is my mechanic FOREVER as long as I own my BMW. Cheaper than the dealership but more than anything I LOVE the customer service better than the dealership. THANK YOU DAN & CREW, YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!! It has been a rewarding experience taking my Mercedes E500 to Charlotte Star Service. Not only did I experience courteous service but more importantly the professionalism and knowledge by the staff, in comparison to other Work shops I have been to, their honesty is unparalleled.
