This place does good work. I've had my breaks done here twice and got my rotors shaved down recently. And immediately after leaving the shop I felt the difference in my car for the better. I come here because the owner-operator is professional and honest and he's good at what he does. It's also less expensive than going to my dealership & on Wednesdays all service is an extra 15% off. THE PROBLEM with the Breaks 4 Less experience is the massive disconnect between the "call center" who quotes the prices/sets appointments over the phone and what's actually happening at the shop. I called the number I saw on TV told them I had to get my rotors shaved and the rotors were ON the vehicle. I was quoted a price. When I get to the shop the price I was quoted was for rotors NOT ON the vehicle. If the call center sets an expectation that's not met in the shop then disappointment & frustration are inevitable. But the guy with the glasses was cool, he took care of what I needed & I paid a fair price (thank God it was Wednesday!) It's a typical auto shop, neither clean nor comfortable but the guys worked quick and I was out fast. I'll continue to get my break work done here because my dealership quoted me 3x what I paid for the same job I got done at Breaks 4 Less. Guy with the glasses has a good operation, he just needs an administrator so they can take their own calls/appointments & create a better experience.

Service was horrendous! Would never go back there or recommend this shop to anyone! The manager was rude and resented my inquiry about break parts cutting me off and telling me to take my business elsewhere. I attempted to reason with him but he wanted no more than to see me leave. Neither of his bays were in use, guess that should have told me something, huh?

Mr. Bill was the nicest auto person I have ever met. He took time to explain to me not only my problem, but different things I could do at the cheapest price to fix it. He was the only one in the whole shop, and got 2 cars done within 2 hours all while checking in on me and my children to make sure we didn t need anything. I am honestly at a loss for words! The service here is AMAZING! I came in with no appointment, told Bill what my problems were with my back brakes, and he got me in and out with no problem!!! He was honest and descriptive and truly cared about my well being! Not to mention I didn t break the bank for pads and rotors! I am so thankful to have found him ! He has a customer for life! I highly suggest you check them out if you re in Charlotte

Called to get a quote for brakes and rotors. Was told to schedule an appointment so they could actually look at the brakes and rotors. When on the phone I was told they'd actually take a look incase the rotors didn't need replacement. Get to my appointment they didn't even bother looking under the car just came back with an almost $500 quote. I kindly took my keys and left.

I recently brought my car in for routine maintenance at Brakes 4 Less at the Charlotte NC location but was extremely disappointed with the service I received. Not only did they neglect to install new brakes properly, but this led to serious car trouble and put my safety at risk.I brought my car back to the shop to have them to take a look at a knocking sound I would hear when I put my foot on the brakes ,they got into my car with me to drive around to hear the noise, but no noise was heard due to us driving on the streets at only 20 to 30 miles and which I told them that you only hear it when you were on the highway driving 45 and above and brake, I believe since they were closing he did not want to take the time to indulge farther by going on the highway so he brought me back to the shop to tell his boss Bill and then came out and told me that he said I may need my struts and suspension looked at and that my brakes seems to sound fine .After leaving the shop, and getting back on the highway ,and getting back on the highway, I noticed that my brakes were still making the same knocking noise but louder than before, and my car was struggling to stop properly. I immediately pulled into a different nearby auto shop and explained the problem, in the auto shop finding I was missing screws on my brakes. I called Bill back at Brakes 4 Less ,which were still open apparently and told him what was going on Bill the owner sound shockingly surprised and upset, and said he would have it paid for and wanted to know the amount, and when I told him got upset which was only $100,and told me to bring in the invoice after I had the work done showing an attitude of irritation of the cost of the auto shop to fix their mistake.As a result of their negligence, I had to spend additional time and money to fix the problem elsewhere. This was a huge inconvenience and completely unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering using this auto shop to find another option - one that takes customer safety seriously and provides the quality service they promise."Service: Brake service & repair

Had the absolute best experience here. Came in for a second opinion as the first place I went quoted me new break pads and routers on all four tires. Bill explained to me here that the back router replacement was absolutely not needed and they were definitely trying to upsell me with no real reason. Bill was honest and professional and gave me the honest work my car needed. Would 100% recommend and I will be back in the future!Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

Arrived the day after Thanksgiving because my brakes were making a terrible noise, the gentleman that helped me was very helpful! He suggested I get the brakes & rotors from Auto Zone as the bundle deal would be cheaper there and scheduled me for about an hour & a half later. I returned a little earlier and he was more than happy to go ahead and get me in. The wait time wasn t bad at all, i waited in the seating area and watched not even a full episode of a tv show before he was done. I came in asking for front brakes. They took my car right in and was told the repair would be one hour to an hour and a half which I thought was wonderful. While sitting in the waiting room I was informed that I didn t even need to change my brakes because they were still in great shape. My mouth fell open! I m so grateful for the honesty of these gentlemen, you really don t find much of that around anymore. The next time I actually need brakes I wouldn t dream of going anywhere else but to your location!! Thank you thank you again I truly appreciate you guys!!Service: Brakes

Listen the good reviews about this place are fake. It has to be bots or paid for. DO NOT GO to this place to have anything done. The older heavyset guy with the strange piercings is lazy, unprofessional and rude. He does not like to work and will find any reason to not service you. Second time having the same terrible experience. He's going to find some bs reason to not fix your car.

Bill was great. He offered to resurface my rotors but with about 70,000 miles on them I insisted he replace them. I got several quotes from repair shops for about $2000 with basic pads. I walked out the door under $1100 with premium pads and high quality rotors. Had it all done in under 2 hours. It s been almost a week and my brakes are working great.Service: Brake service & repair

My car was delivered to this shop by mistake by my insurance company unbeknown to the owner. When I tell you the owner of this company took care of me and my automobile, I have no words. Brakes for less on south Blvd is a rip off. They charged me almost $100 more than Mavis and they didn't tell me my back brakes and brake master needed to be replaced nor did they check my tires for free as they placed on my receipt. The thread was showing...THEY ARE A RIP OFF and I would not recommend anyone for their service.And all within 1 week. They didn't check the back brakes or the free tire inspection that they marked complete on the receipt.IF YOU DO NOT OFFER INSPECTION FOR THE TIRES DO NOT PLACE IT ON THE RECEIPT AS IF WERE COMPLETED!!!

When I booked an appointment online I gave them the year make and model of my vehicle they gave me a package price of 289. they said that would include front and back brakes scrubbing of rotors and drums. When I get to the shop there was not one person having their brakes repaired. He asked me if I was leaving my car that it would take some time because of other vehicles I looked around and didn t see one other car being worked on so that was a lightbulb going off in my head right then. Add The guy there told me that I need it all four rotors he said that the back brakes and rotors quoted alone was 589 I asked him this price does not include the front and he stated no. He stated that you can never change Mercedes-Benz breaks without changing the rotors. I politely asked for my keys and left.

I had grinding brakes & made an appointment for Brakes 4 Less. They were finished in about 90 mins & I had two rotors replaced & new brake pads! I was educated on how to not allow wear on my brakes to save money on replacing rotors. I really appreciated the time taken to save me money! Took in for $640 brake job and car was shaking on passenger side after I left. Took back the next day, they test drove put up on lift and then told me it was my suspension. Told me to get parts from rock auto and bring them back and they would fix for labor charge. Took to another mechanic and it ended up just being caliper bracket bolts were loose. He torqued bolts and now makes no noise.Service: Brakes

HORRIBLE DONT GO! Nate & Bill will lie right to your face. I was informed multiple times my price includes taxes. Once it was time to check out they made up their own prices!!! Didn t even let me get the free inspection. That s the catch DONT DO IT Almost $600 for 2 rotors and breaks. Nothing but LIARS. SAVE TIMEService: BrakesService: Brakes

After reading all the great reviews of this place, I'm convinced they are fake. Bill did a poor install job on my brakes and then once i came back the second time, given his work was under warranty, he insisted the problem was something else with the calipers. I consulted with another shop and they agreed with me, that nothing was wrong with my calipers. Bill is super unprofessional and deceitful. he just wants to take advantage of you. i hope anyone reading this does not decide to let him work on your vehicle. It will save you a ton of money in the long run going somewhere else.

I got there and informed them I had an appointment. Pulled my car right in. Asked what was going on with my car. Told them and he went and checked the brakes. Came back in and provided me with options. He explained my options thoroughly and included the price differences. It does appear that they are willing to try and save you money and not take all of it. They take pride in the work they conduct on your vehicle. Great environment and very convenient for servicing. Thank You Brakes 4 Less for making me feel like a valued customer and not just stick me for my money. I will be returning.

I must say that I read the reviews before I went to this place. I disagree with any bad reviews. The owner Bill was great. He greeted me and ask the right questions. He made sure I was comfortable. He gave me options. He also was patient and very helpful. He explained each step and the length of time it would take. My car needed a lot of work and I knew it. They had my car ready in a couple of hours. It's nice to go somewhere as a woman and not feel cheated!

Bill was very informative. All staff were nice helpful and professional. I didn't like that they had a special for four brakes for roughly 200 but I paid 164 for two front brakes. Service was in and out. Covid aware. Clean. The entrance and parking are directly in front of the building.

Dominique was soo nice & professional. Broke down the work that was needed for the brakes of my vehicle and helped me save some coins. Sam was also great he offered some donuts while I waited for my vehicle.The customer service provided over all was great this is why they deserve 5 stars. I truly recommend this location. The work done on my car was great as well.
