I took my car to a different shop to get new shocks. After the installation, I could tell something didn't sound right. I took it back to the shop and they could not find any issue with my car. Then I took it to After Hours Racing. They found that the shocks were installed incorrectly and one of the shocks was malfunctioning due to cheap parts. They were able to fix my car quickly with new OEM parts and with reasonable prices. I will be taking all my repairs back to After Hours Racing.

I have a Chevy SS that has a lot of money poured into it and I had to find someone to do racing alignments and this was the first shop I found that I gave a shot.Let me tell you right now, Alex is brilliant and was teaching me new things, some I understood and some I didn't all while he was managing to work on the car.I will definitely be returning for more than just an alignment. Previously I only let one shop work on my car and I've now opened up my comfort zone to After Hours Racing now too.

Alex is outstanding and very knowledgeable. Had quite a few issues with my alignment - main issues were places claiming they couldn't do an alignment because my car was slightly lowered. Alex didn't even flinch and not only did he do the alignment properly, he educated me on the best coilovers I could get based on my goals. Needless to say I brought it back to him and his team for install and my car feels even better. The guy even got the ride height prefect without me having to give much detail - just a reference for what I was thinking. I quite literally couldn't have asked for any better adjustment. I'm pretty certain I'm only taking my car to him for future projects as well as any tweaks that need to be made.

I m super OCD when it comes to my vehicles. I typically do all the work on them myself to ensure things are done properly and to have peace of mind. Some things I m just not equipped to tackle on jack stands etc, and I must have faith in someone else. Alex is hands down the guy! Incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. This man cares about his customers and his passion shines through his work. I recently had Alex do a walnut blast on the intake valves of my 2020 wrx. He took his time and ensured any and all carbon build up was removed, and the car couldn t be happier. I wouldn t trust anyone else to wrench on my vehicles. Thanks for all your help! Believe the hype these guys have it going on. I was recommended to them by another shop in the area for a specialty procedure (carbon cleaning treatment), and I couldn't be happier with everything. Branson and Daniel are great guys. Daniel is knowledgable, a skilled technician/ mechanic, and just a pleasure to speak to about cars or anything else for that matter. I just wish I lived closer so that I could have After Hours take care of my ride full time. That said, I'll make the three-hour drive back when I have any major work done. I can't rate After Hours any higher: I now know why they have a solid five-star rating across the board it s because they deserve it. Thank you Daniel and Branson it s nice to have friends in Charlotte now!

This guy named Alex is the king of alignments! He got the specs I wanted dialed in on my EVO X & made it EVEN on both sides, wasn t even .01 off! He goes above & beyond the expected. He checked wear & tear items while he was under my car and notified me with showing me proof. Starting out my time attack project BRZ for next season. Went through a few connections, and they all directly pointed me to AHR.Personal experience with Alex was great, I did my first track alignment with Alex. The experience turned out to be amazing, where he ensured me to have the right alignment the day of my track day without additional cost.He would pour knowledge to me about how to build a reliable track machine.Since my first visit, I decided to come back to the shop to install performance mods that I could not do at home on my driveway.Hoping in the future, Alex would give out some AHR stickers, so we can represent the shop on the track!Ps: the price is extremely reasonable for the performance that's required on the track. If you want a taste of motorsports this is the shop where you need to go to.Update:The BRZ ran into RTV issue, AHR was able to drop the oil pan to inspect the issue. Alex took out his liberty to help me to get in contact with Subaru and his time to do a service on the car with free of charge. Hard to find honest business anywhere in charlotte like this.

Alex at After Hours dialed in the alignment on my Subaru BRZ. I just got it back from the body shop where I had the frame pulled after an incident at Road Atlanta. I was afraid the car wouldn t drive the same again but Alex got the alignment specs exactly the way they were before. I will be going here for alignments as long as I live in the Charlotte area and would recommend anyone else does too.Service: Wheel alignment

I can t speak highly enough of the crew at After Hours Racing! Over the past year, they have continuously gone above and beyond to service my Subaru. Alex is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and fairly priced. From smaller jobs (oil changes, fans, etc), to replacing my transmission, Alex has gotten my old girl running as good as new. 10/10 recommend.

Stumbled upon After Hours Racing on Google after a few other shops around town wouldn't install Injen intakes for my Kia Stinger. I worked with Daniel and couldn't be happier with the service. I was there at my appointment time and he immediately started working on my car. He was quick to finish the install and now my turbos are finally getting the cold air they deserve.If you have any performance automotive needs I would give these guys a call. Alex performed my front end alignment in very good time and the car drives perfect. I couldn t find anyone else in the area to get a lowered car aligned last minute, and he didn t hesitate to help. I first read the reviews before I made a visit and I was not disappointed! Alex was very quick and thorough with inspecting the leaks my car had. First, he quoted me for parts and labor 2 times less what I was quoted at another shop. Then he helped me understand that my car's motor was on its last legs, and advised strongly against me spending any more money on the car - even if it would have been an easy job for him, telling me the quoted job was not the best option and gave me some way cheaper, more practical options. To top it all off, he also didn't charge me for some minor work due to my difficult situation, which was a very nice gesture. Greatly appreciate his honesty and for helping me out, and for not taking advantage of my circumstances. Will definitely be back when I find my next car!

I ve always used Alex to service my vehicles and finding someone that can work as quickly on a Range Rover is always a plus. He s professional and takes the time to not just fix the problem but also works with you when other issues are found by explaining and offering options. He really takes the time to ensure that your car is preforming at it s best.I will always take my vehicles to After Hours Racing.

I use after hours racing for all my alignment and dyno needs. Alex is a one stop shop with years of industry experience.Highly recommend him for your basic service needs all the way to adding twin turbos on your LS or rebuilding a GTR.

Alex not only beat the quote given to me by another shop, he beat it with Mazda parts instead of after market ones. He did the repair so quickly and even went above and beyond by touching up a few other things that he noticed needed work. He was completely honest and fair and I will bring my car to him for all future repairs.

Very knowledgeable, helpful, and trustworthy. Didn't feel taken advantage of at all. Helped me prioritize which repairs were most immediately important to help me stay within my budget at the time. Kept me updated of changes during the repair process and even showed me parts that were worn down and needed replacing. Helped educate me on how certain parts worked and the implications of not repairing them. One of the few great experiences I've had with a mechanic. I would recommend them to anyone.

Alex and company consistently do the impossible. I have watched many projects roll out of the shop, both those simple and those incredibly complex, with not only the owners being completely satisfied with their experience but also with those who worked on the vehicle actually proud of their work. This is the difference between the art of being a mechanic and the job of working on cars. Lots of shops work on cars. Few shops undertake the art of fixing difficult problems, rebuilding engines to beyond factory standard, and installing vehicle enhancements with the same zest and enthusiasm they would have for their own vehicle. And if you get lucky, you might meet Alex's corgi and shop mascot, Albert.

The only shop I've found that is accommodating to individuals who work all day. Showed up for an inspection at 530 pm, got my truck in the shop and inspected quickly. Great service and very knowledgeable technician! Will definitely be bringing all my vehicles back.

Let me start with saying I had After Hours Racing repair my exhaust manifold welds and tap my tmic for an IAT sensor. This same manifold was repaired by eurowise twice... They couldn't get it right and I kept having issues with welds cracking, so I was recommended by a close friend to try After Hours. They're very detail oriented and have answers to all my questions, backed by personal experience and grade A knowledge.I ran by a couple costly ideas I had for my STi, most shops would say yea we can do that, then proceed to charge you for as much as they can. After Hours instead asked of my future goals with the car and broke down the pros and cons of my ideas. Instead of spending money where I wouldn't greatly benefit, they advised to go with other options that would save me time and money in the long run.I highly recommend their services and look forward to using them again!
