Coming into parking is very steep and will scrape the heck out of your bumper. Customer service is great though. Very nice helpful people. But I won't be back.

I want to thank the team at Advance Auto Mama B and Johnathan for the excellent customer service! I came in stranded needing to borrower a tool to exchange my battery. They were more than helpful!! I was able to get what I needed with their professional assistance!! Again continue to be great!!

I have dealt with this location for over 20 years. They experience that Is in this location is amazing. Now i use the commercial side of it. It is very important for us to get the correct parts the 1st time and speed of delivery. I have other locations that are closer to me. But just can't deliver the service that I get from this location. Obviously that's why the pictures that I have are so few. I do know that this has been the number one commercial store not just in Charlotte or North Carolina but in the States. I take pride in helping do that. But don't get me wrong they deserve it. But it's not actually a regular store it is huge. Very little times I mean very little . the one percent they do not have what I need. Even if they don't carry what I need .they will get it. It is something that they do. not only there other locations but definitely there competitors are not willing to do this. No dont carry it.it's not that they're .not capable. but they're not willing to go the extra step. Also the very little time said I might have a issue. my outside support salesman .Josh takes care of it. And I don't have to constantly Calling remind him he takes care of it. Obviously It's the professionalism that makes this Store what it is. This is a customer appreciation day. What's very nice of them to do that.

Waited until 7:16am for this location to open which had only one employee in the parking lot in thier car. Came back at 7:49am and no one was in commercial and even if they were it would be 6 people sitting around on phones not helping a Diamond level customer. I was helped by Willie and he was awful!! Said they didn't have items that I would go and find to purchase. With commercial being a ghost town and the lack of GAF in the front why even open the store even if it's super late. The only thing they are Advanced in is pissing off customers.

Wendell was amazing. Truly appreciate his friendly demeanor, willingness to help and quick replacement of my car battery and wipers. The Tryon store is further from me but I will 100% be driving further and using this store moving forward after my experience with Wendell.You have a great employee!

These folks are nice and were patient with me while we both tried to figure out some odd, obscure parts I needed... and somehow they had some of them and could order the rest. I never figured Advance Auto Parts would have weird parts. I knew O'Reillys did, but now Advance has been added to that same list.

Jason was extremely helpful and generous. He went out of her way to assist me with a battery and alternator. He was very professional and got the job done well. Based on my experience, I will definitely recommend this location.

The rudest little lady up front. Thank God I was saved by one of the men from the back that she told me initially not to ask my question to because, in her words, they gone tell you the same thing I just told you . . And they definitely didn t. Thankfully I was able to handle all of my business with him.

Not sure why this is the only location I have called that asks you to hold, just to never pick back up.I understand being busy but customer service and proper phone etiquette go a long way. Cheap parts are good but great customer service is better.

Waited in line almost 40 minutes. Customers knew Spanish and got into it with employees that were waiting on other people and talking about pictures in Spanish and not the selling of product. Very uncomfortable while there. Will find another store to go to.

The lady I talked to in the phone was incredibly rude and did not seem to want to help me at all. All I needed was as for her to check to see if she had a certain size oil filter wrench the other stores were happy to check for me but at Advance they won t do it unless you specifically ask them to and she was rude about it.

Absolutely terrible customer service. The cashier's are not knowledgeable and will have you drive 45 Minutes to wait 30 minutes to still leave without the part you need.

Never had an issue with advance. That is until today. Took me at least 40 minutes to fill my cart with parts I finally was able to find after calling and having to hold for 15 minutes. Went to store and was told they couldn't fill my whole order due to lack of 1 missing plug. They sent me to N. Trying store to get it, but 1st they called them gave my name and part number. Got there and I told them who I was and what I needed. Was asked for my receipt which I had. She then went to the farthest PC and started looking for the part. After about 5 minutes I said ' can't you just go in the back and get it? It's just a spark plug.' Then this blonde bimbet looked at me , an employee, and scrunched up her face and in a real snotty voice said "she's looking for your part that's what she's doing" This in a tone of voice I would not expect from an employee to a customer. I was already irritated and that pushed me closer to the edge. I understood i came off a little rough, but I had been dealing with what should have been a very simple parts buying process for an hour and a half. This Chick was EXTREMELY rude & disrespectful. Will never go to that local again.

It is a place where you are treated badly. Today's manager was reckless and aggressive. Today is Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 4:45 p.m. There are already two times that man treats his clients badly. He did not want to sell me the products because I told him that this was not the appropriate attitude to treat the clients. It was despota and bad. Do not buy there !!!!

Yeah the guy to counter it was very rude and that I had the time I really would have tried to complain to someone over him but at the end of the day they have what you need when it comes to Vehicles the customer service sucks

Carmen is AMAZING!!!!! Super helpful and nice. I was super stressed about my battery dying on me multiple times and Carmen was very attentive and made me laugh during a stressful situation. Great and helpful person!!

Very knowlegeable and professional staff there. One manager there was a little firm, but he handles the bulk of the major complaints and patiently deescalated alot of the major issues. Parts are always on hand or they can locate and get it pretty quick. Workers there are knowledgeable and give accurate information.

I've never had a bad experience at an auto store until now. Rick E assisted me in trying to locate a part I had ordered but advise that it must had been returned and that all he could do was return my money and reorder the part. This was fine and I would had reorded the part however when I started asking questions like why would they return my part without even calling me especially since I had already paid for it, Rick E gets an attitude and instead of being compassionate and apologetic, he decides he doesn't want to hear what I have to say and walks away to start helping another customer. I wasn't trying to argue but i did want to express how inconvenient it was bc my car was suppose to be fixed today. Rick E went on to tell me I should have come Tuesday when they expected the part to come in the store and that its not his job to make phone calls. He was very rude and had a bad attitude and it was very embarrassing for him to treat me that way especially in front of other customers.

Tried to buy a brake bundle because I needed 2 cans of brake cleaner and some rags. They didn't have the rags in stock. So I asked if they could just charge me for the rags anyway because it would have still come out cheaper. I really wanted to do business with Advance! But the company doesn't give the employees autonomy so they can provide customer service. Closed my commercial account.

Shoutout to Carmen for saving the day with my car emergency for confirming what oil I needed and where to put it! They even manually helped me out and showed me specifics. Great customer service.

It's ok. The workers are qualified to answer questions but u have to wait in line for a while while people are asking questions. They should have just cashiers and have a separate counter to get answers. Things would move faster. Everyone does not need advice.

I gave auto zone on North Tryon 2 stars because I ordered parts online to pick up in store. Online says to give them 30 minutes. I gave them almost an hour an a half. When I got to the located non of my parts where pulled for pick up & on the service desk screen non of the parts had specific brand names size nothing just how many I order and the general name of what I ordered. So what should have been an in and out order to pick up bc it was already paid for took 30 minutes to me this is unacceptable I ordered online specifically because I didn't have time to wait in store to pick out parts or see if they even have it.

Came to pick up an online order because there was a discrepancy and got great service, but when I came in the next day the manager was very rude. The staff under her are very capable,but she does not need to be there.

Fast, friendly, helpful service. I got a part from the Hampton Virginia location but they were more then happy to get me a replacement to the faulty part. They even recommended affordable mechanics.

This is THE WORST customer experience I have ever had with any Advance Auto in any state and I used to be an assistant manager! Y'all SUCK! Glad I got my money back and y'all won't get anymore... I'll save my fingers, too
