I've been taking all my vehicles here for basic maintenance services, oil changes, tire rotations and balancing, etc for years. Always have had super nice and prompt service, friendly staff at the counter. Have not had any issues with after the service with misplaced parts or caps left unclosed as you sometimes can get with those quick places. Will continue to bring my vehicles here with this staff in place!

The visit was random, and midday. But Mike "squeezed" me into brisk schedule and a much needed inspection and maintenace were accomplished within a couple of hours. Very well done.

My husband and I had a 10:30 appointment this morning (2-23-23) to have the battery check. We waited for about 2hrs when Michael told us that they had checked my car and said it was the battery. He gave us a moment to discuss the option to replace it or not. We gave him the okay to replace it even though it was pricey ($531). We waited for another hour and some. I went to see if it was ready( assuming it was) another service writer checked on the car. He said that they haven't started on it yet! A 10:30 appointment lasted until 1ish. We left with getting it done because husband had to go to work. Got a phone call from him saying the technician quoted me a price for someone else's black BMW. My car is white. What ! Wasted ALL that time for nothing. I am not understanding how this could've happened. Feeling sick about this place.

If you don't have a ride to pick you up they have a decent lounge room with a small kids area, coffee area, and a snack vending machine! The reps were cordial and very easy to deal with! This AAA is the only facility I've entered that has a multi-faceted services! Here you can check travel, insurance, car care, and you can even purchase your next level up luggage!

Super friendly and professional from front desk to s rvice tech. Helped me with diagnosing bolt in my tire. It was 5 pm Friday Labor Day weekend. They were all booked so i had to find tires elsewhere so i wouldn't be stranded. I have also used them for new a battery.

I had a last minute car window emergency on a Saturday. There was only 30min left before AAA closed, and Daniel went above and beyond to help me. It was raining and my drivers side window was stuck down, with no way to grab it. He took apart my door and slid the window up, till I could make a later appointment. Thank you so much Daniel! I greatly appreciate it!!

I'll preface this by saying that this could 100% have been an isolated incident. But my experience with this shop couldn't have been worse.I inherited my car from my grandfather. It had an immaculate record, and was running perfectly fine. Then, the engine just shut off. Bummer. I get AAA to tow it to this AAA Repair Shop.First, they told me it was the throttle body. $1800. If that's what it took, fine. The car is barely worth twice that, but I'll do what I have to. Then they said it was the computer and it'd be another week and another $500. Long story short, it took them OVER A MONTH to get the car running at all. Then, they tell me 4 of 6 ignition coils had melted and there was a misfire in one of the cylinders. Now, I'm no expert...but clearly, neither are they. If my car had 4 melted ignition coils and a misfire before it stopped working, it would've spat out a check engine light and a code at some point. Keep that in mind for later. So they try to replace the fuel injector for the misfiring cylinder twice. Another week. Then they send the computer back to their rebuilder. Another week. He finds a bad solder joint. They get the computer back, put in some miles, and it's working. Great...after almost 2 months, I have my car back.THE DAY AFTER THAT, with less than 30 miles driven from the shop my check engine light comes on. Both of my catalytic converters have failed. Leading cause of that? Unburnt fuel leaking from an engine misfire/bad fuel injector. This is a problem that should've been caught, anticipated, or at least checked either by AAA techs or by the 3rd party they used. I called them and said that IF THE ISSUE was unburnt fuel clogging and destroying the catalytic converters that I'd had replaced LESS THAN TWO YEARS AGO, I demanded it be paid on their dime because it was a direct result of their/their 3rd party's incompetence. I was told "that doesn't sit well with me", but that they'd be glad to take a look at it for no charge. That's like kidnapping a child for 2 months, I pay a $2,600 ransom, and I let you know that you traumatized my child, causing more damage. Then you say you'd happily take a look at my child, then charge me to fix the damage caused. Hard NO.So I took it to a more reputable shop. Turns out, while they were holding my car for almost 2 months, charging me $2,600 for it, they also:1. Killed both catalytic converters, causing more than $2,600 in damage2. Missed or caused (genuinely not sure or interested which) a coolant leak, requiring my radiator to be replaced (confirmed by multiple shops).3. Missed a crack in my exhaust, causing emissions issues.4. Missed or caused (genuinely not sure or interested which) leaks from valve covers, both of which need to be replaced to avoid further damage to engine/exhaust system. All told, I gave this shop nearly 2 months' time with my car and $2,600. In return, they gave me a car that worked fine for ~30 miles, then needed roughly $4,000 in additional repairs, some of which were directly caused by the actions of the AAA repairmen and their 3rd party partners. And when I asked them to cover damages caused by their repairs, ONLY if it could be reasonably assumed that the damage was caused by their repairs, they told me it "didn't sit well" and they had no way of telling if it was caused by them or an older issue. They actually insinuated that having 4 melted ignition coils, one (maybe?) bad fuel injector, and a misfire, might be an older issue despite NO Check Engine light ever showing before the car stopped running.I was never angry or aggressive with anyone there. I'm sure they were only working to the best of their ability, and I appreciate that much. There's your one star. But if you're out of your league with a certain car, admit it. Don't cause nearly twice as much damage as you repair, then deny responsibility. If I operated a business like this repair shop, I would be embarrassed to the point of shutting down. I've been a AAA Gold member ever since I started driving, and I'm cancelling my membership because of this shop.Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair

Attended a Car Care Class with my daughter's girls scout troop. They rolled the red carpet out for us on a Saturday evening after work. The employees were so excited to teach our teens how to care for a car. The safe driving lesson by Nicole put the icing on the cake. What a great way to build relationships in the community. I learned a few things also. I am a fan of AAA and will be a new customer. Thank you!

Was towed to this location by AAA after some unknown issues with my car, was called the same morning with an estimate on how long it may take for my car to get looked at. They ended up looking at it sooner than estimated and we re able to replace the alternator and battery the same day. Mike was great to speak with, very polite and kept me informed throughout the process!Services: Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

The manager Mike was excellent. The mechanics, not so much. I observed them spending more time socializing and on their phones than working on my vehicle. A simple oil change and inspection took 2 hrs. and I had an appointment. All the men, except one, were gathering around talking about what, I don't know. There was one young African American male that did more work than all of them put together. As an AAA member for over 30 years and my first visit to an AAA car care center, I was definitely disappointed in my first and last experience.Services: Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

Requested oil change, tire rotation and state inspection. Check in was quick. Vehicle was ready when expected. Only negative was oil on bumper and front grill. Also oil dropped on garage floor overnight. The service tech should have spent a few seconds to clean up properly. Apart from the mess it creates a bad impression.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenanceServices: Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

I'm sick today. I was running late 15 minutes. With an attitude they say oh you have to wait an hour to 2 hours from my original appointment. My doctor's don't even act like this.

Called in for an appointment and told the lady who answered the phone I was having problems with my power steering. I had my car towed in. Got later in the day so I wanted an estimated time. The site told me that it will be next day, thinking that the work may take that long. Over 24 hours after my appointment time they call me with their diagnostic and then says they are not capable to fix my car. I asked why did it take so long to tell me that and was told that they had a lot of cars to go through. I mentioned my appointment and was told I called the oil change line. My impression of this facility is that they are not organized nor professional. Took it to another shop with no problem.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Even though I had an appointment, my car was there for 3 days without any service except diagnosis test, which is very expensive even for AAA members. Zero communication from the staff. I picked up my car on day 3 and took it to Woodies in Mint Hill.

I came here to buy a tire for my car nothing fancy / new. My tires are basic common tires you can find anywhere. They tried to charge me $355 plus fees for a tire i know i could get a lot cheaper. Their prices are super sketchy. However I was in a really tough jam because I needed to get to work (medical personel). My husband decides to go there for me and they say 200$ now (how odd, money hungry, and look at that price drop). We take the 200$ even though thats still pretty much extortion. On top of that they say they have to order my tires bc its not in shop and it'll be here sunday (3/19); come to find out they're closed on sundays ...So now in addition to punching the air im still a sitting duck. Unless you have no other choice i'd steer clear .. bring someone with you ..Service: Tires

The service is good but the prices are way too high. Always get a second opinion on any repairs they say you need for your car. It's happened twice to me, they said one thing, I get another opinion and it's not what needs to be done. Women watch out for this game. It will cost you!!!! Try to take someone knowledgeable about cars with you.

i had to get some unexpected and expensive work done on my car and Michael was extremely patient, informative, and kind. Additionally whoever worked on my vehicle went out of their way to fix a loose piece in my car which they didn t have to. The professionalism etc I experienced will definitely have me coming back I appreciate everyone who helped!!

I have had my Toyotas serviced at a Toyota dealership for most of 25 years. I am extremely nervous about being over-charged and poorly-serviced by independent repair facilities. I had a frank discussion of my concerns with a service rep on site at that AAA car care center named Mike Alexander. He seemed honest, forthright, and trustworthy, and addressed my concerns. I got a front brake job at a lower price and much faster than I could get at the dealership, and will return for service as needed in the future. Highly recommend!Service: Brakes

My husband went to this location for an oil change and yearly inspection. Background information:The car ran smoothly but they informed him that he needed certain procedures performed before passing. They also recommended brake work. After his first visit to the shop the car shuts off.Technical difficulties aside, a visit later it passed inspection and the brakes sounded and felt better. Only when the car shut off again and the check engine light came on did he return for more assistance.AAA is very familiar with our vehicle at this point, my husband has spent a minimum of 6 hours in the shop(the vehicle much longer), as his latest appointment was the fourth in the span of two weeks.Foreground information:This appointment with them was at 10:00am on Tuesday. They relayed that it should be done the same day(as they'd been working on the car intermittently for hours now). They sent him home via Lyft and said it should be done by the end of the day. That time came and went. They later assured us we'd have our vehicle by Wednesday afternoon, it still wasn't ready. I called, frustrated and hoping for clarification. I ended up speaking to a gentleman named Dave. Dave was short with me and mentioned that Jason was working on several cars and they have no idea when they'll be done and couldn't tell me what went wrong, just that "It will be done by the end of the day"...again.As I write this review we still don't have our car back.Service: Brakes

The staff at this location was very unprofessional and passive aggressive to my friend. She is nonconfrontational, but as a young woman in a new city desperate for some help with something as complicated as a vehicle, it is nice to be treated with respect. When talking on the phone, they mockingly laughed at her and blatantly disrespected her. She had also already received diagnostic services at a different location, and was simply reporting them, which they dismissed and tried to overcharge her for a service that she had already completed. The other locations would never and we are extremely disappointed. Do better to serve the younger generation.

These people had terrible customer service and are bold face liars. If I could give them zero stars, it d still be too much. My car was towed to them via third party AAA driver on a Wednesday evening. The next day, I went to drop my keys off and the front desk clerk informed me that more than likely it will not be touched unless they had time. Cool. I was then told they would get to it on Friday for sure. I said that would be fine. Friday comes, no one called me the entire day. I finally called at 3:30 for an update and was told now they wouldn t get to my vehicle until Monday. Not only did they not communicate their intention to push my vehicle s service behind, this man also proceeded to argue me down! He became insistent that he didn t set that expectation of time, making me sound like I was making it up. I do not appreciate being treated like this and they never have to worry about getting any business from me. I wouldn t recommend anyone patronize this business if you care about your money and your time.

They did absolutely nothing to my vehicle although it was still covered under my 6yr warranty. The guy I spoke to there was rude, unknowledgable and down right insulting. They had my car for 6 days and didn't have any info on my warranty even though I purchased it through AAA roadside. I did ALL the work on providing them info they already had & when I got frustrated he refused to replace my warranty covered battery and then tried to charge me "fees" when I asked for my vehicle to be towed back to my home. I believe his name was Mike. All & all THE WORSE EXPERIENCE!! And I had to pay for a rental while they did NOTHING to my car.

Price was double the price it should have been. They quoted $1300. I towed my car home to my mechanic. My mechanic completed the same exact repair that AAA said they would do. It came to $600. The little punk millennial answering the phone was rude and unprofessional. He even hung up on me when I asked to speak to his manager. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this AAA service station at all. Pretty corrupt!Service: General repairs & maintenance

A couple of days ago, I visited this AAA for assistance regarding our battery. Dave was the agent who assisted us that day. Our interaction with him was incredible; not only was he knowledgeable and willing to share tips to best inform customers, his upbeat yet relaxed attitude was warm and welcoming, very professional!I always do business at this AAA location because of prior excellent customer experience, and highly recommend it for any auto needs.Service: Battery

AAA had my truck for 5 days, I got charged over $400 for nothing to be done. Took my Truck back and brought it to a Dealer and spent $110 to get it fixed. It was one bad wheel sensor. I will not be taking my Truck back to AAA with inexperienced technicians and front desk people who make false claims. Seemed to only care about charging me more and more money.Service: Electrical repair

My AAA representative was great. The shop was top notch. He communicated with me, charged little labor. It was our of his control that all parts hadn't arrived in 3 days. Apparently this holdup was on FedEx, parts stuck just 2 hrs away in Raleigh by late Fri...so I had to pay an extra day for car rental at $75/day.That was Hertz price, (the 1st/ last time I'll use them.) Hertz stands much improvement! They were 15 min away& said they'd pick me up but put off pick up time to 4:30, when it was then 18 min away & they changed their mind.(AAA got me a Lyft.)On the phone with Hertz I was told I'd have a choice in cars but got there & they said I didn't. It was a base level Corolla & there were a dozen of other cars on the lot. No one explained ANY of the features. As it got close to 5, I heard the manager tell his new employee not to answer the phone. They closed at 6.Service: Tires
