I don't know how I've gone this long without reviewing Frantz Automotive. We've been taking our vehicles here for 15+years and love their service. Both of our cars are over 20 years old and Darryl does a great job of keeping them running smoothly and warning us when we're getting close to a repair. Love that my teens will soon be driving our safe old cars!

They treat you like family. Everyone is friendly and helpful, but most importantly good at what they do. I have 100% trust in them to do the best thing for my car when it s with them. I ll be bringing my cars to Frantz until they close down or I m no longer walking this earth, whichever comes first.

We had Frantz Automotive do a pre-purchase car inspection for us. They did a thorough job and spent time discussing their findings with us. Cost was very reasonable. They have a comfy waiting room and allowed us to stay afterwards to do a bit more research. Highly recommend!

I ve had several jobs done by Frantz automotive including all new breaks and rotors, battery evaluations, oil changes, and finding a parasitic draw. The parasitic draw had been plaguing my vehicle for months and other shops were unable to find and fix it. Frantz auto service quality stands out among the competition as well as their family atmosphere. On several occasions their honesty has been extremely evident and I trust them implicitly with my vehicle. I cannot recommend them enough.

My first time here, always a little nerve wracking to try a new automotive service center. Excellent service, job was done quickly. Though I didn t stay they have a very comfortable waiting area. Price was very fair. Highly recommend

Been coming here for around 10 years. Very professional and friendly. We've used repair services and standard maintenance, on multiple cars, and I haven't had to return a vehicle once.They won't force you to get work that they don't think you need. I've requested work and they have told me several times I don't need to do that.The owner always explains the costs fully when you pick it up.

I have been to many places for oil change and this is the best one with great customer service and price. Also replaced my axle and wheel studs/nuts. They really go extra miles to save me some money for additional work which could be done at the same time.I do recommend Frantz.

When a new friend of mine spoke of Frantz as my shop, I could hear a high level of trust. So when he recommended me to bring my car and get the problem fixed, Frantz delivered an excellent, friendly, and professional job with an extra mile of work. I even told my friends about this amazing workplace. Definitely a great experience for me.

Frantz is the absolute best for professionalism, quality and integrity. Like everyone else who doesn't have the skill or knowledge to service an automobile, I look for two things from an automotive center: Quality of work and Confidence that they are treating me fairly. Frantz has been servicing my vehicles for 10+yrs and not once have I ever questioned their work or integrity. From routine maintenance to replacing a burnt out clutch. Every single recommendation for service was explained clearly and they ALWAYS provide honest answers to every question I asked. Frantz is one of those rare businesses where the owner stands behind the operations. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed. They are honest, do good work, never do anything that isn't necessary, and communicate with the customer. I trust my car with them. Started going to Frantz after my cousin recommended them for honest work. They've lived up to that promise and have always been transparent, kind, and efficient. I appreciate that a lot considering I'm a young adult and have to plan out certain services. I've been very skeptical of mechanics since I got in a car accident in 2021, but I am so glad I've found Frantz for my Toyota. I know that I can trust them to do the right thing and that my safety is their priority. Plus, I love the waiting area because you can use the Wi-Fi and work if needed while you wait. First time here and they are great! The prices are very reasonable and trustworthy. One of my best experiences at automotive service station. I highly recommend them for your automotive needs. The waiting area and atmosphere is very cool. The waiting area is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend them for your service needs. Very friendly and trustworthy.

Frantz is our go-to. They are always super friendly, willing to get you in, tireless workers, affordable, fast, and reliable. They won't take advantage of you or try to up sell you. Very honest with feedback and next steps.

Great experience here and highly recommend. Went to another place where without even looking at my car in the shop they said It would need thousands of dollars of work done just by watching me pull up. I came to Frantz before committing and they actually took time to inspect, checked my brakes, and saved me so much money due to being transparent and honest about the car! Probably the best shop I've been too. And driving 30+ year old cars, I've been to a lot of shops. They deserve 10 stars! My engine light came on and I called them, my neighbors all recommended Frantz. So glad I did, Jordan went above and beyond and helped me out big time!! They weren t sure when they could get to my car so I called for a rental car, it was going to take 2 hrs to get picked up by the rental agency. Jordan offered to drive me and my son there so we didn t have to sit at the shop. I can not thank him enough!! They also had my car fixed and ready for me later that day. Believe the reviews and take your car here! They are honest and have excellent customer service! I will be a customer for life! Thanks again! Car is running great!

The moment I arrived, two things were very clear. They want everyone to feel like home and they LOVE cars, with a warm place for old VWs, shich makes it even better We only went for wheel alignment, not the most sophisticated operation but looks like it showed that I can trust Frantz with service and repair.So much better than a cold hearted dealership that always makes me feel like the only thing they care about is my wallet.I will definitely go to Frantz again!

I noticed 2-3 drops of oil on my garage floor every so often & wanted to get it checked out. I took it to my dealership; they examined & said I needed a $500 repair to fix the problem. AAA quoted me same price for the same repair over the phone. I called Frantz and was quoted $358 over the phone, but they wanted to look at the car to be sure that is actually what was needed. Took my older SUV to Frantz and was told the oil was not coming from where the dealership said it was and it was so minor that I shouldn t be concerned. They said it was a .5 problem on a 10 point scale. Frantz didn t even charge me for the diagnostic of my SUV. I was so thankful for their honesty. I will definitely be returning to Frantz for any future service and will definitely recommend them to others. They are an A++ business in my opinion. I have gone to Frantz a number of times for different reasons. Oil change, exhaust work, inspections. They have a great staff and are very good at what they do. Reasonable prices, and are very chill with work. I have had times where they have done work on my car, such as investigating issues, and when found nothing, not charged me. Which is great to see. Some places will charge diagnostic fees even if nothing is found, but not Frantz. Very amicable people. Family run, this location is. Would high reccommend.

Had my water pump fail on my truck, had it towed in to have it looked at. Was called back and told it wasn't the water pump but I would need a whole new engine. He told me he would get back to me with the price but last time he did it, it was about 10k. I get the call back with the price which was quoted about 10K, I told them that I wasn't really interested in spending 10k on the truck for a new engine. I asked if they could just replace the water pump and we could go from there. He said no the only option was to replace the whole engine. I then had the truck towed to another place for a 2nd option, they replace the water pump for less than $800 and they truck runs fine just like new. I wait to write the review until I put 1,000 miles on it. So far no issues, so glad I got a 2nd opinion.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was driving through Downtown Cary on a rainy day when my low tire pressure light came on. Pulled over and saw a screw in my tire. I knew the Frantz shop was just a couple blocks away, although had never been there previously. Upon arriving, Jordan greeted me and could not have been nicer. In less than 25 minutes the tire had been plugged at a very reasonable price and I was back on my way. They set a great example of customer service that s hard to beat! Thanks!
