I love this business. David is so kind, and he has worked me in last minute when I really needed it. His prices are very, very reasonable and he seems like a genuine guy. I've never felt like I was being lied to, or oversold on anything. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and he'll be getting my business from now on.

Thanks to David and Cary Automotive Repair and Service!I got a note in my car check emission system and as I have no idea what that is I was trying to find the place where someone can help me.I got to Cary AutomotiveRepair and Service after two other services declined to check my car due to long waiting list for the appointment I was very upset as this is my only car and I need it every day to take my son to school and after-school activities David offered me to check the car to make sure I can drive it while I am waiting for the appointment!At the appointment the work was done well and on time! A few days after they checked on the car if everything is ok with it!Thank you again!

We have worked with David multiple times and always had the same results. His communication is great- always takes time to explain. He also is responsive and very transparent/honest. It s so nice to be able to trust a repair shop and know they ll provide quality work!

I ve had a check engine light issue for quite awhile and had brought it to two different mechanics before and the check engine light would just come back on shortly after. The error code said an o2 sensor error which didn t seem critically urgent, so I put off dealing with it until recently when it was coming time for my inspection.My girlfriend actually recommended this place mainly because they have a dog at the office, but also because they did a pretty solid job with her car issues. I decided to check them out and the mechanic spent over an hour going through and thoroughly checking step by step to see what was actually the problem prompting the issue. He found out that I had an exhaust pipe that was leaking and I was quite impressed by his step by step process to pin point the issue. He doesn t weld in new exhaust pipes since that s quite a specialized thing, but he recommended me to a solid place to get it done and my check engine light switched off within minutes after the repair and it hasn t come back on after a month. 10/10 experience here and I ll definitely be coming back for any future car issues.

I was visiting the area from Fl when my truck began leaking coolant. Stopped by several auto repair shops and David was the only one willing to take a quick look. Turned out the heater hose was leaking, David had me back on the road in 2 hrs. Awesome service!!

Fantastic service you rarely see these days! The owner met my wife at the shop on Easter Monday even though they were closed. He gave her advice on what was wrong and charged her nothing. He genuinely cared about helping her fix the car. It turned out to be a problem that he doesn't deal with but all is resolved now. We have the highest regard and respect for this company and I will be bringing my car there in the future.Update! David took my truck in for wheel bearing replacement and on his own initiative, fixed the oil plug leak (I didn't know I had one) AND rotated tires as previous dealers has not done so when asked (my assessment, not his). David can also fix my foreign sports car which I'll bring in in Jan. This guy is a gem! So hard to find people like this these days....

Honest, upfront, and friendly service was my experience at Cary Auto. I had my car towed there with a fried engine and David worked with me and did quality legwork in finding the best possible replacement engine for my vehicle. He kept me updated throughout the process and was informative about his work when I picked up my car after he was done. Highly recommend!

I brought in my Toyota Sienna after a quick Google search for an auto repair shop in Cary. They're conveniently located downtown and close to my house. They were able to get a look at my van quickly and find out what it needed. David was very efficient and transparent with what was happening daily. I'm so grateful to find a place that doesn't talk down to me as a woman, as we women know how going to the mechanic isn't usually a positive experience. Honest & affordable. We ve taken our 2017 Mercedes c300 & VW, 2013 Audi here many years, and Ron is always been able to fix the problems, and always very affordable, and quick. We ve been to another auto repair place in Cary, and they we re supposedly experts in foreign cars - but failed to fix the main problem and Ron & his crew fixed the problem (that was an AC issue on my older Mercedes SUV, 2004).

Great guys! I had to get my exhaust system repaired on my Mazda3. You can tell they are genuine professionals with how enthusiastically they explained the process and did the job at a fair price, without cutting any corners. Took a lot of the stress away that comes with this sort of maintenance. Definitely recommend getting your car serviced here!

I still need to catch the mechanic's name, but between the owner, Chris, and the mechanic that usually helps me, this shop is the best in customer service. I trust them not to oversell and be upfront with me regarding costs and anticipated repairs. Very knowledgable. I am moving to the other side of Raleigh but will still work nearby, so I will try to come back to this shop as much as possible.

I had shopped a few car repair businesses to replace the ETC control box in my Jeep. I had already taken my Jeep to Sport Durst where I purchased it and received a quote of $900. This place had the best price of $675. The first day, I took it in around 1:00 and got confirmation of the cost. The man at the check in counter said it would take about 2.5 hours to complete. I called at their almost closing time to check the status. He said they ordered the part and it would arrive next day. Luckily, my son could pick me up from work and bring me home. The next day, I called again to check the status. They said it was ready and I picked it up in the afternoon. They stated the box was replaced but that in the process the adjacent transmission piece broke off. He showed me the piece and told me it was rusty but that he cleaned it up. I did not see ANY sign of residual rust on the piece. He had a quote prepared for repair already of $268 +/-. He said he had plugged the opening but not to wait too long. Of course I feel "taken" since I am female and do not know much about car repair.

I dealt with Frank & Ron for years across 4 cars - Ford, VW, Mazda & now 2nd Subaru. They inspected a prospective used car purchase, steered me toward a smarter option, saving thousands for a better Mazda. Always very professional maintenance services = what s needed when needed. Nothing more, nothing less - as if they were taking care of their own cars. Car broke down in Dec on a cold Saturday, and I was on the other side of the county from where I live. After searching for repair biz in the relative close area of my breakdown, I opted to have it towed to Cary Auto Repair. By the last gulps of behavior of the vehicle, I had an idea of what the issue might be. Jose checked it out and felt the issue was something else altogether, so I asked him to walk me through it. He did the explaining, I agreed, he gave me an estimate - quite fair, because I did price it - and he fixed it. It's been 30+ days since with no issues. Very happy, very satisfied, and would def recommend this business. Info about the car - it's a minimal production make, not a Honda or Ford, so I've come across repair costs where they wanted to pass on some extra padding, and when I was pricing the repair, I was grateful that wasn't happening to me here. Thanks Jose for turning a breakdown into a livable experience.

I brought a car that I was thinking about purchasing to Cary Auto for an inspection. They were fantastic. Saved me from making a huge mistake. The car had major break and suspension issues, as well as leaking transmission fluid. Although I couldn't tell these things on my own test drive, when they put it up on the lift, the problems became very apparent. The mechanic was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Explained all the flaws in a respectful and detailed manner. Many thanks!

This is by far the worst experience I have had with an auto shop. I would discourage anyone who seeks a fair customer experience and knowledgeable mechanics from visiting this business.I needed my AC inspected and a Freon charge. Upon my initial phone call, I was told that the charges for this service for my vehicle would be $98 + Tax. I dropped my vehicle off and told them to call to speak with me about any additional charges before doing any repairs. They never called, and several hours later, I called them back and was told that my vehicle was ready. They said that it would cost $130 + tax. I informed them that this price was higher than what I was originally told. After some back and forth, the individual I spoke with told me that they would remove the additional charge.Upon picking up my vehicle, I was told that Freon was removed from my vehicle. I did not ask that Freon be removed from my vehicle, but rather that the price I would pay match with what I was initially told.Still needing my fan clutch fixed two days later, I called back to bring my vehicle in. Although I had taken the day off of work to get my vehicle repaired, they told me that they couldn't get me in, even though I had an appointment, because they failed to order the needed part. Again, I expressed my frustration and they finally resolved to bring my vehicle in-- but there was a catch. They would need to add the additional pound of Freon back to my vehicle and there would be a $14 additional charge- No problem right? There was. They would also add an additional $50 in labor to my bill because, as they owner of this terrible business so politely put it, "The Freon isn't going to just jump back into the vehicle on it's own... is it?"I spoke with the manager of this business and he did not understand where my frustration came from, and did nothing to resolve my problems. This business does not care about customer service and looks only to take your money.In the end, for obvious reasons, I decided not to bring my vehicle back to this business and I would discourage anyone else from doing so.This is a business that feeds on adding hidden fees to your bill and I can say with confidence that you will not likely leave this business as a satisfied customer.

I am a women and needless to say I do not have a clue about cars beside that I use them to drive....after trying many other car repair services and being disappointed almost each time I read review about Cary Auto Repair on Google and said I will give it a try....I was very impressed how professional the service was they even made pictures before and after work and show me the broken parts explaining why they need to be replaced and why the car was leaking oil. I think that after this lesson I can repair my car myself....LOL...not really This is THE place that I will service my cars from now. Honest people, on time service, and very reasonable prices. If you need car repair this is the place 100% you will not be disappointed

Exceptional business! Ron is the nicest, straightforward person I have ever dealt with, not just in the automotive sector but EVER. They were fast, kept me informed and dealt with all the paperwork. They took a lot of the stress out of equation and even put up with my constant badgering. If you're in the Raleigh/Durham area and need auto work this is your place.

I have trusted the two owners with our cars for at least a decade because Ron & Frank have earned it. They follow the Golden Rule of auto maintenance - "What would you do if my car was your car? Would you do it now or later" after they have inspected it thoroughly.That's just how they think. It saves me time and I only pay for what needs to be done, when it needs to be done. I get peace of mind. The benefit of their priotitized attention is thaI never find myself on the side of the road waiting for a tow.Highly recommended.

I great car place. They are very knowledgeable and will not hesitate to show you what was wrong and what was affected. They will put things simply so it is easier for you to understand. More than once I have come by after hours with some sort of emergency and if they are still there they always help. all in all a very quick, reliable, accurate shop!

This has got to be one of the best auto repair shops out here in Cary, NC. The people are very welcoming, Jose and the owner Turan. I recently brought in my car for more than one issue. I had bought an old car that needed a lot of fixing and I decided to bring it to a shop and at least know what needs to be done to keep it running long enough for me to get a more reliable one. I'm glad I brought it to this shop. Turan, the owner himself showed me around the car and told me what could be done (giving me the option to have them fixed only what would keep the car running - which is what I want) -it is as if he can read my mind. He is very knowledgeable, VERY HONEST, and a cool guy. He must have told me more than what I came to know and learned so much about the car. He tries his best to keep the customer's expense at the minimum as he can. I got my car only a day after I brought it in. He's very open and friendly. I felt I was treated like a son. He gives great advice that you probably won't get from anyone else. He does the work and shows you what he does and why. I'm very glad I found this place. This is my new home auto repair shop now!

This is the best repair facility I have ever been to in fifty years. I was on my way back to Michigan when my radiator blew on the freeway. AAA was great to tow my 2003 Ford Escape but couldn't recommend a specific repair other then showing other AAA certified facilities. I didn't know if Cary Auto is one but when I called they said they could fix the radiator same day. They did just that including going the extra mile finding vacuum leak and fixing that. The owner even drove to pick up my sister in Cary who at 73 was visiting stores but with both knees recently replaced unable to walk back This is a great repair facility, you won't go wrong taking your car there. Prompt inspection, clear quote with fair prices, quick repair turnaround time. Could not be happier with my experience here. A company vehicle went down and they had it back up and running before the end of the week. I'll be back in the future I'm sure.
