I recently had the pleasure of using Cary Auto Body Repair Specialist for some front end body work on my 2016 Toyota Camry, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From start to finish, the team was professional, and incredibly knowledgeable.The Steven went above and beyond to ensure that my car was repaired to the highest standard, and I was kept informed throughout the entire process. The work was completed in a timely manner, and the results were outstanding my car looks as good as new!Not only was the quality of the repairs top-notch, but the customer service was also exceptional. The staff was friendly, courteous, and always willing to answer any questions I had.Overall, I highly recommend Cary Auto Body Repair Specialist to anyone in need of auto body repairs.

Fixed my Mazda for me after it was considered 'totaled.' Drove all the way from Cary, NC to Richmond, VA to tow my car to the shop! That was very helpful considering the amount of stress I was already in after wrecking my poor car. His son even stayed late for me to arrive on the train to pick up my car. Thanks again, I highly recommend this shop for any and all body work!

I found this business online and was dealing with an issue on my daughter's vehicle from another state. Steven was very responsive and sent me a quote very quickly after reviewing pictures that I had sent him. We set up an appointment for a few days after he ordered the part. He repaired the vehicle in a very timely matter, quicker than anticipated, and he actually fixed it for less than the quote since it took less time. Took 2 1/2 weeks to finish work that Mark said would be done in one week. Never got a call communicating that it would take longer. I own an executive car service and lost over $1, 000 in revenue because of the lengthy delays. They said I will be getting my car back today. We shall see. I will never go back. I cannot speak to the quality of work. I will update if and when I get my vehicle.Update: 9/11/20 - After the owner posted today that I run a "deadbeat" company that doesn't pay it's bills. Yes, I did take the car without paying. It cost me over $1,500.00 to repaint the entire car.This is the true story. Note: This happened six years ago, and today, Mark finally replied.If he feels wronged or cheated, he's welcome to call my lawyer and we can settle this matter in court.I normally don't post negative reviews. I feel that I am obligated to do so that none of my local friends make the same mistake I have. I recently purchased a new vehicle to add to my car service. I had a recommendation from an acquaintance to take it to Cary Auto Body Specialists, located 311 on E. Cedar St in Cary. I brought my car in on September 16, 2013. I had a list of services needed to get the car ready for service. Items included painting the entire car, replacing the headliner, and a few other small repairs. The owner, Mark McMains quoted me a price verbally. I had asked for him to send me an estimate with the cost to complete each of my repairs. I had also asked when he felt my car would be finished. He told me that it would be ready the Friday of the 20th. Needless to say the car was not ready by that Friday and I had never received any estimate as I requested. I had called and went by the shop on several occasions to check on the status. Most times Mark was not there and when he was there was always some excuse. The second week went much the same, with empty promised dates of completion and still never a call or email. In fact, Mark had never called me in the 2.5 weeks. I had over $1,000 in lost revenue from the time he said the job would be completed. I cannot fathom how a business can stay in operation with such poor attention to courtesy and communication. I have owned several businesses where service was the centerpiece. I will be taking Mr. McMains to small claims court to recoup my lost earnings. I am also in the process of filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau. My hope is to initiate change in their business practices so that others don't experience this lack of communication and blatant disregard for customer service.

After getting the run around at 3 other places, Cary Auto Body Specialists knew exactly what was wrong and how to quickly fix it. Super quick availability, friendly, and knowledgeable. I m going here for body work from now on.

Cary Auto Body did a great job fixing my bumper! They were very quick and communicated well, and the price was fair and honest. Steve actually fixed my window on my IS300 - 2001 and he went over and above what a normal shop would do. He had great customer service and made sure he got my window fixed and even had to order more parts after I did so to get the right one. For anyone still interested in their services after driving by this spectacular dump, I'm sorry to spoil the surprise yes, there's a good chance the work done on your car will be equally trash. I had to take my car elsewhere and rack up another auto shop bill to get the job done right.Not even to mention that one employee casually told me one day when I was checking in on my car that his manager was caught helping a customer commit insurance fraud.Service: Steering & suspension repair

(Mazda CX-5) This place was recommended by my car dealership, since they didn't have an on-site auto bodyshop themselves. I experienced informative, helpful, and friendly service. The work that done was top quality. I would definitely recommend.

Mark McMains and Cary Auto Body Specialists were recommended to me by a neighbor who said they did a 'perfect' job of fixing her damaged car - and she has high standards. Not only did they do a beautiful job of repairing my damaged car, their estimate was lower than 2 other estimates for the same repair. They were friendly, professional, a great value, and did excellent work. I couldn't be more pleased and my car has never looked better. I'm glad they were recommended to me and I highly recommend!

My experience with this shop was pretty shaky however I m grateful for a fixed, running vehicle. I got into a car accident & my airbags had deployed, bumpers & windshield were messed up.I had my car towed from my home to their shop on March 2nd. I provided everything that was needed for my car except for the windshield & if he ever needed any other parts I would order them at the exact moment he would ask. My biggest issue with Mark was the communication. There were multiple times I would call/text just asking for an update (I would call every few weeks) & would get no answer for weeks at a time. I m convinced he just recognized my number because when I didn t receive a response I had a friend call from a different phone number & he answered right after not picking up mine & ended up giving her the update. He ended up returning my call that day to let me know my car needed another part (something that he could have let me know weeks ago if he kept up with updates) it just had me wondering if my friend never called him, how long would it have taken him to get back to me and let me know?Once the piece got delivered he told me that my car would be ready the following Tuesday. I stopped by the shop on Tuesday to see for myself & it indeed was NOT ready. I was highly frustrated & discouraged because I m pregnant & was worried My car would not be ready on time for her arrival despite it being 2 months since my car has been at the shop. My boyfriend had to seriously break it down to him that his way of business was not okay & to give me a guaranteed date for myCar to be ready. He said between Friday & Monday it would be ready & on Tuesday May 4th we finally picked it up.My last issue is ANOTHER employee, not Mark, informed me on the day of pickup that the seatbelts, which locked into place at the time of the accident, weren t installed because I was missing the pretensioners. This is definitely something that should have been communicated prior to because that is obviously a safety concern & I would have supplied them to be installed since I had already provided the seatbelts itself. I paid over $2000 for this service & Mark neglected to tell me that information.It s been almost a month & my car is running smoothly & I feel safe enough to have my daughter in the car & that s more than I can ask for. But please, work on communicating with your customers. They are who keep your business running & you will either lose them in the process or create great relationships & clientele.

I brought my Mazda5 here to undo the work I tried to do in painting my front bumper. This is definitely a good place to bring your Mazda because the owner has an arrangement with Capital of Cary and you will get to the head of the line. When I brought it home the bumper looked as good as new.I suspect that there are cheaper places out there that also do fine work. However, I was happy with my experience here.

Had my vehicle repaired here after an accident that caused rear damage.It took much longer that they initially told me (they said 7 days) and all together took 28 days for them to get everything corrected.Poor communication, I had to call them constantly or text asking for updates with the exception of them calling me twice. They were responsive to texts.After the work was done I went to pickup the car and it would not start!! They push button module had been removed and they told me there was a battery in it that needed to be replaced (the piece is NOT battery powered).The rear window was misaligned and stuck out further on 1 side, he told me "it only goes in one way" and said he could not do anything about it.They did not fully detail the car, only the very back where damage occurred.They forgot to put the letters on the back of the vehicle (model) and said that it was on backorder - but they never told me that, they waited for me to notice it and bring it up.If you want to get your car back in one piece without having to go through more hassle of bringing it back to get things corrected and have it done right the first time you should avoid this shop.

Seriously the best body shop around. They're very helpful, do great work and overall fantastic. They painted a spoiler for me, my sister's civic front bumper, and the quality is great. They've helped me out a ton on some other small issues I've had with my car. If I ever need body work done on a car, I know where to go. 12/10 service!

I could not have been more please with the professionalism and the job Mark and his team did on my Hyundai. Took the car to callibur collision and they were trying to say it was considered totaled which would have left me high and dry when I took the car to Mark and his team he assured me they could get the job done and they did. Excellent workmanship and unbeatable price. The paint on my 2018 Pacifica looks seamless. Always grew up hearing "You get what you pay for!" Well in this case not only do you get an outstanding job and friendly service but an excellent price. Won't ever go anywhere else! Thanks!

I was rear-ended in September and couldn't find anyone in the area who could schedule me before mid October. These guys got me in fast, did an EXCELLENT repair job, and were courteous and kind and very communicative. I couldn't ask for more. If I ever, god forbid, get into another accident and need body repair done, I will 100% be coming to Cary Auto Body Specialists again.

Got a quote here for my dented car in 2010 and the quote was reasonable but only giving 3 stars since Mark was patronizing to me and even mocked me at one point. I hesitate to go back here and get actual work done on my car, but my dad has been here and he got work done on his car and he told me Mark was patronizing to him also. It just doesn't bother him as much since he grew up without much modern comforts unlike me. But place is good enough to at least give 3 stars and not 2.

I accidentally scratched my Miata's side mirror, and Cary Auto Body got me in and out quickly and professionally. Their work was outstanding and the price was very good. Tough to find a place to park, though.

Took my Mazda CX-5 here after getting rear ended. They did a great job, fixed it up to look just like it did before, and kept me updated through out the process. Highly recommend Cary Auto Body Specialists!

I had my car fixed there about three years ago. Though it took longer than they said, ultimately the repair looked great. Two years later, the paint began to peel on the front bumper where Cary Auto Body had done their work. I went to another shop and they told me that the plastic bumper cover had never been primed-just painted straight onto the plastic. No wonder it peeled. I wouldn't go back. Avoid.

I expected to walk in to a $300 fix with a few days of waiting for a new part. Instead, they quickly repaired my car and didn't ask for a cent. He only needed to add a few screws to secure a running board, but my guess is that many places would have suggested a replacement part with hours of labor. As a public school teacher in NC, this was definitely a blessing.
