Very nice an honest people. Prices are fair and reasonable and you also know that the work will be right the first time! I trust them with all my vehicles.

I am highly disappointed. After taking my 2018 Ram 3500 in for transmission issues, I was told by Jeff that I would need to replace it and the cost would be around $6k-$7k and that he would give me a quote by end of the day. Well that didn't happen. I had to call the next day only to to be told it would be $12k! Well, that's absurd. When I asked the lady on the phone what it would cost for a rebuilt transmission she said there's no options, which makes absolutely no sense to me as a person coming from a state for cost-of-living is much higher I can't believe the numbers that were thrown at me. thank you but no thank you I'll move on good luck with anybody that uses this place if you need a transmission

The folks at Leenheer Auto are top notch! I don't write reviews but this awesome team made me want to write one. I've also never found a shop with folks who are so willing to give you the time of day and hear what your needs are, who are willing (when time allows) to explain services in detail, and are even willing to share general education with their customers. It's rare to spend close to $3k at shop and to leave with a smile. My only complaint is that they're located in NC and not VT, where we are from - they'd be the only shop we'd go to.Services: Transmission, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair, Brakes, Auto tire replacement, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement

I want to thank Karen Leenheer for helping my husband that was stranded 4 hours from home. Words cannot accurately do justice to how grateful and blessed we were able to work with you today!! It is nice to know that good people, good individually run businesses, and blessings are out there. Thank you for allowing me to feel like I was helping in some way as I was 4 hours aware when my husband, Aaron Mizelle, was in crisis. I wish I lived closer as we would utilize your business frequently!! Please if you have the opportunity to stop by for automotive care or U Haul services please do!! You will be grateful and feel right at home!!

Staff is always friendly and personable. They are flexible with my logistical needs. For a mechanic shop it's very clean (especially the new building). I took my telluride in to get inspected and get an oil change. I was there less than an hour, and I felt like the prices were reasonable. I m a hot mess and so is my vehicle due to the severe depression I suffer and am on numerous meds for and I did not feel judged at all. I had a great experience today at Leenheer Auto! Got right in for an inspection without an appointment, chatted with the guys about my Subaru and left with no issues after about 20 minutes. Great family atmosphere, I'd happily recommend them to friends and family. Thank you!

This place is the literal worst. Won t call you to tell you that they ordered the wrong part and your car will take longer, charged me $600 for the issues and my car is still running the same. Never go here. Complete trash of a company.Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

I went to Leenheer to rent a tow dolly. I called several days ahead of time to check on their stock and found that they are very helpful and polite. When I picked up the dolly found that the whole process was quick and easy. I'll definitely go back for this kind of need

On Two separate instances when I've had flat tires, I've been told that they can't do anything for me. I will never go there again nor will I recommend them to anyone

Leenheer Auto's owners are a pleasure to deal with. Their team goes to great measures to provide accurate diagnostics and perform proper repairs. They use the highest quality parts and stand behind their work. Their service policy of first properly diagnosing with the proper tools in their shop allows customers to save money as this process allows for focused repairs and parts thus taking less time and saving unnecessary costs. I love all the bells and whistles on vehicles we enjoy, but unfortunately, newer technology requires technicians to accurately utilize many computers and technical service bulletins and services. Thank you for setting a great example of professional service repairs!

Took my 2010 Ford F350 dually here to get some maintenance done and an exhaust sensor replaced because I'd had some issues that caused 2 breakdowns on my way up from Florida. When I went in and explained my problem the mechanic came in and talked with me about the issue and was knowledgable about the issue and inspired my confidence that he knew how to handle it. I have had no issues since they worked on my truck and recently pulled a 15000lb RV 5 hours across the Blue Ridge mountains without having the breakdowns due to the sensor. I am pleased with their work and would return if I still resided in Carthage. Thanks for your help!

I bought my car straight from the dealership and hadn't had any problems with my car at all so when it was time for my oil change I went to Leenheer Automotive and they told me I needed a new oil filter thread.. well I bought one and had them fix it and a month later it was messed up again. My brother is a certified mechanic and he said that they messed my oil filter thread up on purpose just so I would have to go back and spend more money with them. I will never go to them again.

Will never return every time I have gone to this place with an issue they dismiss it and the hand the truck off still unrepaired. Then it comes back and they just start replacing parts and not actually figure out the issue they only care about their money and cycling cars through their shop I warn anyone going to this shop do not leave your vehicle with them for anything other than an oil change. Just because they have many friends in carthage it may seem like they have good reviews but this is just not true.

I've known this family for a while, they're good Christian people. When I brought my car to them in an emergency they had it fixed up and running in just a couple hours for a good price.
