KNS was fantastic! I contacted a lot of local collision repair shops around the area after a deer jumped in front of my wife's car, and almost everyone was quoting 2-3 months before repairs could be completed. Apparently the Triangle has outgrown everyone's capacity, and with deer rutting season, I thought we were looking at an extremely long wait. Fortunately, KNS was kind enough to work us in within a month, and even beat their own estimate. The car looks even better than it did before the deer! We don't plan to hit anything soon, but if we do, we'll call KNS again.Service: Body & Trim

Excellent service all the way around and seems to truly care about his customers. So happy to have my car back to normal after getting it repaired by KNS. I would highly recommend KNS automotive for any repairs and body work if you are looking for a trust worthy shop that will deliver high quality at reasonable prices.

This guy works for the insurance companies, not for you. Kept Trying to tell me that this thing or another thing wasn t related to the accident . Then I d have to argue, call the insurance company, and every time they told him to just do it. The quality of the work they accomplished was bad, and I had to take it back and have it redone because they delivered it to me with dings and scratches still showing. The owner has an attitude with you every time you complain about something and it took me two months to get the job finished that should ve been done in two weeks. Eventually, I got everything handled but only because I fought tooth and nail for what I knew was not 100% I won t go back.

KNS was unbelievable. They provided a fair quote right in line with the insurance claim, and once I agreed to the work, they had parts in 24 hours and started the work the next day. It was fast and the quality was superb. The car looks better than it did before the accident. I'm in Chapel Hill NC visiting my son. I'm from Charlotte NC. While here my grandson hit my carCausing some damages.My son and daughter in law referred Keith Newman at KNS body shop to me. I took the vehicle in for estimate which was very reasonable. So reasonable I got estimate for some old damages too.Keith is very personable. Impeccable customer service skills and very knowledgeable. I made appt. To bring vehicle in for repairs.WOW was I in for a pleasant surprise!!. When I went to pickup my car it look like a brand new vehicle. He did an excellent job. Everything he promised to do he did it and then some. He even washed my vehicle and clean the insides. I most definitely will use him again. Even if it means I have to drive here from Charlotte NC.Thank you Mr. Newman

Keith and his team are amazing. I had some deep scratches on my automobile. Keith gave me a great price and you cannot tell that the scratches existed. I watched customer after customer show up to his shop and he is friendly and treat customers with respect. They are Covid-19 prepared for each client. I felt safe from the time arrived until I left. This was paid out of pocket and KNS was the lowest price I received from all the quotes given. I will return again and recommend Keith and his team to everyone I know.Service: Body & Trim

The team at KNS Automotive did a fantastic repair on my son's 2021 Toyota Camry Hybrid that was hit on the bumper twice in as many days. It was like no damaged happened! KNS Auto was wonderful to work with! Their prices were so reasonable - which is great because we weren't doing our bumper repair through the insurance company. They got everything done quickly and were so nice to deal with. And when we showed up a month later asking about a problem with the bumper, they took care of it right away... even though they knew (and we eventually found out) the new problem was caused by our teenager and was NOT due to a problem with their original work!

I came to KNS to get a car hood painted after buying an aftermarket one for my Mustang. It was a fiberglass hood that came with a scratch from shipping that needed to be repaired prior to paint. My quote felt reasonable and included fixing the scratch and the full paint process (sand, prime, paint, and clear). I was told the job would take two days and to drop the car off in two weeks.Well, the job took 4 days and I was disappointed by the job to say the least. The paint looked like you were looking into a kaleidoscope and there were pits and bubbles all over the hood that had already starting chipping and exposing bare material underneath. After 2 days of having it I brought it back and showed my concern for the quality vs l the price I paid. The owner first tried to say that it was defects in the hood and that he only does quality work, that's why he's been open for 30+ years etc. etc. Regardless, he took it back and said he'd get it sanded back down and assess if it was a good problem or a paint process problem. The final product was 10x better and was what I expected to pick up the first time. While it still wasn't perfect (a paint run and bubble in like 2 spots), the paint job had little to no orange peel and looked amazing in comparison to the first.In the end, I'm happy with finished product but the process that it took to get there was less than desirable or necessary. If more skill and time had been put in the first time, a second time wouldn't have been needed.

I had a wonderful experience at KNS. They fixed my bumper though I was sure it needed to be replaced. Keith, the owner, stuck to his estimate even though he needed extra parts and took extra time on my repair. They even cleaned the inside of my car free of charge. I was very impressed!!

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of work from KNS automative. I took my car for a body work based on the reviews here. I am very disappointed with the quality of service and attention to detail. I had to take my car multiple times each time working with the insurance claims team to fix the missing parts. The technician did a poor job in taking a complete survey of all work that needs to happen and see if anything was missing in the initial assessment. I ended up taking my car multiple times to tell them they have missed one another thing. The car is still not fixed completely. This is such a waste of time. The office takes pride in their work and unfortunately I did not see that in their quality and attention to detail. I will think twice to take my car there again.Service: Body & Trim

Got my car fixed reasonably fast. Very fair prices and Keith and his crew did a fantastic job replacing a door and fixing the bumper. The only downside was while dealing with the front desk person. She's very nice but disorganized and very forgetful. Keeps you on hold for too long trying to find something simple and doesn't communicate well during the actual repair process. Still, I will probably go back in the future

KNS Collision is the best automotive shop around. I needed a new bumper and they offered the lowest price out of the four body shops that I went to. Their workmanship was incredible and my car looks amazing. In addition to replacing my bumper they took it upon themselves to wash the outside and clean the inside of my car. Talk about superior service. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thanks again!

I took my car in with a dent on my front fender and lip almost hanging off. I went to three other body shops within a 15 mile radius they all returned with quotes that were above what I was willing to pay (out of pocket). KNS auto body repaired my car with excellent work, great service, and my car came back like it was brand new, I couldn't even tell there was any damage to begin with. I highly recommend their work, the owner of the shop is a great person, not trying to scam and get as much as he can, he's an honest person, extremely rare to find nowadays.

If you are like me, you dread taking your car in for any type of work, including body work. I usually cringe while waiting for the price, which is usually even higher than I'm expecting and the service is subpar. I have an Audi A6 that I wanted to get some body work done, had taken it to another shop in town, and quickly left after the price I was quoted for just a portion of the work. Then, I found out about KNS and read the reviews. I was skeptical, but decided to go for an estimate. I met Keith, who was friendly, honest, and completely different than just about anyone I've met in the car business. I had a number in mind, and Keith blew me away with his quote. I had work to be done on the front and rear bumper, plus some blending on 1 of the quarter panels. Price for all the work was 1/2 of what I was quoted for just the front bumper by another shop. I just picked the car up and the work they did on my car is spectacular. Keith went above and beyond what was quoted, but didn't charge me any extra. It's so rare to meet someone so honest and fair. KNS will be my "go to" for any future work I need done on any of my vehicles and I couldn't recommend Keith and his business enough. Don't bother with other body shops, head straight to KNS. I can't remember the girls name at the front desk, but she is very friendly and fun to talk to. Everyone there I met treated me great and the turn around was quick!

I'm not one to typically write reviews but I must after KNS went above and beyond for my car. I took my VW Jetta here for a minor ding on the rear a few months ago and they restored the scratches perfectly with paint that matched. It looks completely flawless and you would not be able to tell an accident occurred. Not only did they exceed my expectations on the repair work, but the price was reasonable as well. Not only that but they cleaned the interior of my car and waxed my rims at no additional charge! I was blown away at the service of this place and highly recommend it to anyone who needs any repair work done. I will certainly be using them as long as I am in CH.

Getting my car fixed at KNS was the best decision I could have made. I am a UNC student, on a budget, and was not going through insurance. The owner was very nice and made all the efforts possible to save me the most amount of money possible. My car was returned looking brand new, as if I had just bought it. And it was cleaned inside and outside. It was returned in a timely manner as well. Overall, I would most definitely recommend KNS to anyone!

Took a car here after a family member had an accident. Keith at KNS is helpful and reasonable, and we've had good experiences with him in the past. In this case he initially underestimated the repair cost and then discovered more internal damage upon closer inspection. This felt a little sloppy, since it changed our decision about whether to repair it, but overall we still had a good experience dealing with him. Because of the circumstances in our case, he was able to waive storage fees that would have usually applied.

I cannot say enough positively about KNS. Keith, the owner, worked entirely around my schedule in allowing me to drop off and pick up my vehicle. He worked with me to find a project that worked with my budget, and stuck to his estimate to the cent. Not only that, he then proceeded to wash and clean my messy car for no charge, such that it looks as good as it has since it was brand new. I would recommend KNS to anyone without reservation.

KNS is the definition of "good people" who go the extra mile for you. My car, my wallet, and myself are all very pleased. Prices are exactly what they should be, and they deliver more than what they charged you for. I asked for (and paid the price of) a generic side view mirror replacement, and I not only got a flawless replacement, but also found out my new mirror was a fancy upgraded version of what it was before (again... was only charged the price of a basic side view mirror). Love this place.

I have a 14 year old car that was crashed into and needed extensive body repairs. The estimates that I had gotten from other auto body shops was more than I wanted to spend on such an old high mileage vehicle but, being a new home owner, I was not in a position to buy a replacement vehicle. Working with Keith, the president, he helped me cherry pick the repairs to keep costs minimal and maximizing the appearance. The results were incredible. I highly recommend KNS Automotive! KNS automotive worked on my car twice, and each time they did a great job! The first time, the car was done quickly, and they communicated with me throughout the whole process. The second time, they made sure that I was taken care of transportation and insurance wise. They made sure to fight for me. I highly recommend them!

The team couldn't be nicer or more helpful from initial estimate to getting all the work done. They knew exactly what my car needed, found parts that were reasonable, worked with my insurance, and did it all in a timely fashion. And they give you back a clean car - interior and exterior - to boot! I'd recommend them to anyone and am currently recommending them to friends. Thanks!

I had an excellent experience with KNS. Their estimate was lower than another well-regarded body shop nearby, they got the estimated price exactly, they were on time, and the work is gorgeous - you'd never know someone hit me. Highly recommended!

KNS Collision was GREAT. They fixed up our 2010 Honda the same day for $55, when other shops were quoting us over $600. Great service, great price.
