Support LOCAL! DECADES of mechanic experience. Three full-time mechanics. New location on Old Business Hwy. 1, Cameron, NC. Easy to find.Needed breaks and wheel bearing work on my 10 year old Subaru. Inadvertently found the shop driving by so pulled in. Super friendly, responsive, quick but not slick. Great relationships with parts stores as they had parts delivered immediately with agreement if I did not concur with work estimate they could be returned. Their estimate concurred with my husbands assessment. I dropped my car off late afternoon day before and had it back by lunch the next day! No pressure, just what needed to be done. Now my beloved Subaru is safe, road ready and I could feel the difference immediately. Going forward, these guys are my go to shop. I also have a 1970 Ford Mustang convertible I intend to have one of the restoration mechanics work on. Super crew. Again, forget the chains shops and go local.

These guys do great work! honest hardworking group of guys , they fixed the exhaust on my truck and ran dual tailpipes out from the muffler they installed, very clean welds, also they did state inspection! Wouldn t hesitate to bring my truck back to them any day!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Had a huge (and partially self inflicted) issue with my truck after some studs snapped off when replacing my catalytic converters. They not only fixed the issue super quickly but also fixed a few fitment issues that came with the new cats since they were purchased online. Super friendly guys and was incredibly surprised at how fast they fixed what I thought was going to Be a dreadful job. Highly recommend and will be going back for inspections and other miscellaneous maintenance.

I had a fuel pump go out on my 2008 honda crv. I had self diagnosed the problem before having my vehicle towed there, as I was an aircraft mechanic in prior military service. While waiting for a tow I inticiated removal of said bad instrument. The last procedure needed to remove said component was to break the seal on gas tank only after vacuuming out debris from area. I have attached photos that show a simple yet essential step was overlooked to ensure the integrity of the fuel lines of my vehicle, while at the same time they chared full price for removal and replacement, when over half of the removal had been accomplished for them. The last things to do were vacuum and reinstall, but step one was skipped being vacuum.If that munched debris is on top of the pump after install, how much made it inside the tank? The technition I spoke to said they did vacuum the area which looks very doubtful with the replacement photos.

Called in for an Inspection the attendant noted the address on my registration card was Wake County not Lee. I explained the vehicle details are changed with the DMV .the gentleman then went off on some kind of angry rant saying he can only do what is on the registration card then stated that I still had another month left questioning why I was even there (none of his business) he asked why don t I have a card with my current address, I began to explain the DMV did not send out a new card when I called an changed address I did not have time to finish my sentence because he went into another rant along the lines of I have been doing this job for over 30years I said fine, your loss not mine and left. As I was leaving he came over to my vehicle - I instructed him to step away from my vehicle as I feared he would rant again. I left, called into another station and the inspection was done with ease and today I renewed with the DMV online. Bragg Auto need to maybe brush up on current policy.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. I like that they offered something cheaper, but also had what I needed even though I went back with what was already on my truck. The service was quick and professional. I will always be a repeat customer.

Husband has taken his vehicle here a couple times and worth it. They appear knowledgeable (I've been once, and this is based on my layman knowledge of vehicles).They are very considerate and would highly recommend if you need to take your vehicle to get repaired.

The staff are quick, thorough, and knowledgable. We have trusted them with our vehicles for over a decade, and have yet to be disappointed with them. They may not remember my name but they recognize my face every time. They provide excellent service, and are honest about the expected times the service will take (although they're usually faster than they estimate!) We will continue to patronize Bragg Auto & Muffler as long as they are open for business.

Took my car for it's yearly inspection and was totally overwhelmed by their service. They topped off some fluids; gave me exacting directions and information concerning the nearest DMV, and did it all with a smile. I was so impressed with their kindness; generosity and helpfulness, that I have decided to take my car there for it's next service. I was referred to them by a neighbor and now I am happy to refer them to you!

Excellent service. Did a great job installing my exhaust. Really nailed what I was trying to do with looks and sound that I wanted. Pleased with the price too! Had it completed fairly quick to for just showing up without an appointment.Thanks Eddie!

I stopped at Bragg Auto & Muffler for a yearly inspection. The gentleman immediately greeted me and was very polite. He immediately warned me about my window tint not complying with state regulations. I left there free of charge and he even explained a quick and easy way to remove the window tint. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Was traveling through the area and had an issue with my exhaust system. These gentlemen had me back on the road in under an hour! So thankful for this shop and their work!

Called them for help with my tire, they went out of their way to fix the complicated problem, awesome service! So impressed I went back for inspection, fast, reasonable, great directions to DMV. Went back for worn brake pads, they showed me where the problem was, fixed it fast and good price. It's a great local shop, I am a customer for life.

If you need automotive repair they are the ones to use. I was in town from Florida and ended up needing brakes & rotors replaced they were able to get me in on a Friday morning with one day warning. Did a fantastic job, very friendly, and reasonably priced.

I brought my truck in because I heard a slapping noise as if I had a hole in my exhaust. The staff found a bolt that had snapped off around the exhaust manifold. Great customer service. I was able to schedule an appointment and they knocked out the repair. What I really appreciated was the straight forward service and they showed me exactly what was wrong!

I got my inspection done here and I also had my brakes repaired a few months earlier. I received a quote from Fire Stone. They are cheaper than Fire Stone, and they are very time conscious. I appreciate the work they do.

Very fast service and very affordable pricing. The shop looks run down and sketchy but that is not the experience you'll get. They are nice and work fast. The pricing is way cheaper than anywhere else you will go. My favorite shop to get work done. Good honest people.

I have had no less than 10 cars exhaust upgraded here. Everything from a 1995 Mustang to a 2019 Dodge Charger Hellcat. The owner and his master welder do take their time to ensure everything is done correctly without damaging the car. Not only that, but they stand behind their work. I ve never had an issue but I have stopped by and asked if they could change the placement due to a rattle caused by the location and they gladly moved the mufflers back. And keep in mind they put them where I told them too so it wasn t their fault.

My exhaust was pretty must falling off and they were able to fix it for a decent price in a couple of couple of hours. It does get quite busy. So get there early if you're in a time crunch. It is pretty small after all. People were pretty nice too.

I have been using Bragg Auto & Muffler for the past 15 years with all of my families vehicles. Lynn and his guys are always friendly, helpful, affordable and HONEST!!! Great service! In town from New York and the guys really helped me out of a bind with a tire that wouldn't seat the bead. Went to three other shops that tried, but couldn't get it done. 5 star rating from me! Thanks Guys!!!

This place is awesome. I was in and out in probably 45 minutes. They replaced my brakes and rotors, super fast and super nice, reliable, and honest guys. I won t go anywhere else. Thanks for all your help!
