A month ago, my wife hit a deer with her car on her way to work. Thanks GOD, it wasn't a major accident, but the body of her car was severely damaged. I called here that afternoon. Josh was very kindly made a reservation and delivered the car a few days later on the scheduled date. Two weeks later, I received a call that the car repairs were completed and I went to pick it up. The condition of the car was so perfect that there were no traces of an accident. I was especially satisfied with the paint job. Highly recommend best body shop ever!

I got into a hit and run back in January and had no idea where to take my car for repairs. I found this place on Google, decided to stop by and got instant help from Scott. He answered all of my questions, and I had many of them. He quickly got me scheduled, he worked with my schedule and compromised for me to get my car in. Scott was amazing!! He got in touch with me and kept me updated anytime I asked. For any repairs I recommend this place and ask for Scott you won t be disappointed!! Had a wonderful experience with Brian, Andrew, and the whole team! We had an unfortunate incident and even though they couldn t help us replace our rear windshield, they graciously offered to wrap it for us to get us through the rainy weekend. If they treated us this well, without a dime exchanged, then you can trust you re in good hands.

I ABSOLUTELY recommend Boone Collison. I hit a huge buck coming down the mountain and the total damage was almost $12,000. They not only repaired my car in just 4 weeks, but my car looks brand new and you would never be able to tell it had been wrecked. Scott kept me in the loop the entire time and was extremely helpful. Donna is AMAZING. She communicated with me through every step of the way. The work is well done and the car looked brand new after being hit by a deer! I cannot recommend working with Donna enough. She is awesome as well as her team!

My car looked brand new when I got it back. Even my custom license plate on the front was reshaped. My car looks great . I especially think your staff are amazing. I especially want to shout out to Ashley who was really helpful and communicative so I knew what was going on with my car and how the progress is going. We ran into a few issues, but it was nothing to do with her or me. It just had to do with parts. But your service people do quality work for sure and people like Ashley make the experience less stressful. Five stars all the way. Well I love you guys but I hope I don t see you in a long time. I had the best experience with Modern Collision! I went in for extensive repair work to the back of my car and they did a wonderful job taking care of every last detail and keeping me in the loop. As a college student it can get hectic dealing with school and car issues but they worked with me to get everything done quickly and efficiently. I worked with Scott personally and he was on top of things the whole time, going above and beyond for me. He reached out a couple months after my service was finished for some last touch ups that really made me feel appreciated. Modern Collision Pays it ForwardI had an incredible experience at Modern Collision recently. A young co-worker backed into my car and when the estimate to repair came in at $1500 I was dismayed, as I knew my 18 year old friend could not begin to cover the cost.Scott Hamlin, the Service Advisor, kindly took a second look at the damage and offered to have the body shop do a touch up and buff job that would bring the outcome to about 80% of perfection. As my car is 3 years old with a few scratches, that was good enough for me!I made an appointment the following week and after just one hour the work was done. Scott showed me the results and it was fantastic! Even more amazing was the amount of my invoice . . . $61.92!Scott explained that he was moved by my desire to help my co-worker and he wanted to repay me in kind, by only charging me for the cost of labor in the shop. Needless to say I was immensely grateful.If you are in need of collision repair you will not find a company with more integrity and bigger heart than Modern Collision!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I found the employees at Modern Automotive Collision Center to be friendly, professional, and efficient. I received a detailed estimate, and scheduled a time for the repair which was completed in a timely manner. From the receptionist who answered the telephone and greeted me as soon as I walked in the door to Scott who was my contact person during the process, I had an excellent experience with this business.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

If an insurance company is paying the repairs, hands down one of the best around (from a previous experience). However once you let them know, or at least Donna, that it s customer pay, be prepared to no longer hear from them. Multiple follow up emails and voicemails to no avail. Take your money elsewhere.

I just had my car looked at this morning over some spilled paint. Scott provided amazing service and went above and beyond by buffing out the paint and fixing this minor cosmetic damage I had. He was super friendly and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable to be able to now call this my local body shop.

My daughter is an Appalachian State student and was in an accident with another student that hit her from behind in their townhome parking lot. I was able to conveniently give my information after hours on their website. I received a call as soon as they opened the next day from Scott Hamlin in the collision department and he was able to get her car in that same day for an estimate. I explained to Scott that I was concerned about some of the auto body parts that were hanging from the accident, as the car was drivable but didn't won't any more damage to occur. He was able to secure the rear bumper side panel. They did not have to do this but I appreciate them looking after my daughter. This is old school service you hardly find any more. Thank you Scott and the Modern Auto family. I will definitely use your services in the future and recommend you to others.

I've had two great experiences at Modern Collision. I worked with Donna in the office, and she's great. She is quick to be in touch, friendly, and efficient. I was really pleased with the work done on my truck and the cost was quite a bit under the estimate. An extra bonus was that they cleaned the inside of the truck for me. Thanks Modern Collision!

I am really glad that I utilized Modern Collision Center of Boone for repairs to my 2020 Subaru Outback. They have a very friendly staff up front & the team in the shop did an excellent repair job. Jeff Day met me within a few minutes with his camera & Allstate app. After taking photos requested by Allstate & explaining the process, I was on my way home in about 20 minutes. He advised an estimated start time of 6 - 7 weeks because of backlog & they ended up getting me in / out about 10 days early. I was glad they provided a worst case in the shop timeline & were able to beat it vs overpromising with unrealistic start date to get my business & it takes 10 weeks. Jeff kept me updated during the process & is very customer focused. Towards the end when Jeff was out of the office, Bryan Dorton filled in with that same, high level of service. Based upon this great experience, I would definitely recommend Modern.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Took my car here to have body fixed after an accident and from the beginning it was easy and very professional to schedule and communicate with staff. Not only did they do an exceptionally well job of taking care of the car, they were supper nice and caring during the whole process. Super happy with the result of the work they did and dealing with the insurance dilemmas without the need of my help, very professionals and convenient. Huge shout out to Donna Isaacs at modern collision for all her help and her way of doing business, make sure to have her help you! I can't say enough good things about Modern Collision! First off their staff is absolutely amazing. They were so helpful and kind in a difficult situation. They go above and beyond for their customers! The work they do can't be beat. They are the best at color matching. They get in there and get the job done quickly and make sure it is done right. I cannot say how incredibly helpful, kind and understanding the staff of the Modern Collision Center in Boone is! I have had to come to the center twice as a result of my car bumper getting torn off and they could not have been any nicer to me. The entire staff was incredibly kind and receptive of all my questions; they made small talk with me during the time that I was in the lobby and seemed genuinely interested in making sure that I had a good time while I was there. Not only were they kind on an interpersonal level, I felt like they were genuinely concerned with making sure that my car was fixed properly and that they did a quality job on it. The second time I came in, they did not charge me for the problem as they felt like it was their responsibility to fix without me even suggesting that they owe me anything. I think that shows REAL quality customer service and deserves to be spotlighted; it's rare you find a business that cares that much about its customers and their concerns!This is a lot of words that can easily be summed into: yes, Modern Automotive Collision Center of Boone is a wonderful business that will treat you right and has not disappointed me in any capacity in the time I did business with them!

I am beyond pleased with the service I received at Modern! Donna Isaacs not only greeted me with a smile but with the utmost professionalism. I had a minor accident with minimal damage. The price tag would have been over $1400.00 because my lower valance was only available with the bumper cover and I needed a fog light bezel. We ordered the bezel and hoped the tech could pull out the valance. I got a call as soon as the bezel came in and set an appointment. When I arrived for the appointment my car was taken to the shop within minutes. The repair was done after 10 minutes and the result was amazing. They were able to pull out the valance & saved me over $1300.00!! I was so happy to know that Donna & this company are not all about the money but instead concentrate on customer service!

This was our third repair at Modern Collision. We were actually their first customer when they opened, and we keep going back. Chris Poe at Modern Subaru is the best service manager in the business. He recommended Donna Isaacs at Modern Collision, and Donna was excellent. She did exactly what she promised and worked well with my wife. Her communication was excellent. I am picky about these things, and she remembered and followed up on all the details that I mentioned. Matching plastic to metal on a sparkly gold Lexus (my wife's car) is not the easiest thing to do; the paint match was perfect. I have used both of the major competitors in Boone. One is terrible. The other is OKAY but not as good. Modern Collision is the best - reasonably fast (collision work takes time - for insurance, for multiple coats of paint to dry) and high quality. I highly recommend Donna and Modern Collision.9/27/2020 Update - We were so pleased with Donna and the work that Modern Collision did that we have started getting cosmetic work done on our cars - stuff that is not essential and which insurance does not cover. We are saving so much money by having our old cars refreshed rather than buying new cars. We got a door handle and gate repaired on my wife's car. It's over 10 years old, but it is as good as new now. Donna communicated very clearly and did everything that she promised to do - and more. The repair was done quicker than promised and came in much less than the estimate. What more can you ask for?

I don t usually take the time to write a review about a business. But modern Toyota collision center deserves a minute of my time. There s a backlog at body shops around here of 3-4 weeks. They got my car in a little over a week. Shout out to Ashly my service rep. She went above and beyond her job which is a rarity these days. My car turned out awesome. They did a great job. They even washed and cleaned the car. Tried to buff out the right headlight to match the new left one. I highly recommend them. Excellence!

Couldn't be happier with the service and body work! Here's the full story...I hit a deer with the truck a couple of days before leaving for a road trip. I needed to get the truck in the shop quickly. Because I had just bought the vehicle a month earlier, the insurance company had our vehicle "Still Processing" in the system. Most dealerships were recommending Hampton's. They towed my car in college (about 15 years ago), were very unfriendly, and showed no grace for an honest mistake... so I didn't want to give those crooks anymore of my money. But we have bought a few vehicles from Modern Toyota and never had a bad experience in purchasing from them. When I saw they also had a collision center, I already had an establishment of trust with the Modern name and wanted to give them my business. They were understanding to my situation and helped get my truck in. Even when one of their reps, Ashley, first saw the truck, she was noticing less-obvious dings and dents I never noticed. That was the first sign that they weren't going to take shortcuts. I knew they were going to ensure everything was fixed from front to back, top to bottom--and they did just that! When I got my truck, I was in and out in less than five minutes. Friendly staff to work with and they continued to carry on the trustworthy name of Modern. Go to Modern and you'll be in good hands!

I highly recommend Modern Toyota Collision Center to anyone in need of body work on their vehicle. They were able to get me in quicker than the other body shop in town which was the main reason I took it there. They also have a warranty on their work which was recommended by my insurance company. My representative, Donna Isaacs, was courteous and professional. She was helpful and knowledgeable when answering my questions. She was timely in responding to my voicemails and emails. Not only did they repair the damage to like new condition, but they thoroughly detailed my car! That was an amazing surprise! I couldn't be happier with the results of their services.

Michael was a great representative for Modern. The entire team delivered ahead of schedule, and beyond my expectations. It was amazing to see how my car came out, how well they even cleaned it after the service. Great Communications, and so easy to work with. If I lived in the area, there would be no question about who I used.

I could not be more impressed with the efficiency of Modern Toyota Collision Center. From initially taking my car in for the estimate to picking it up after it was fixed, Ashley and Linda were so helpful and great to work with. They kept me posted regularly on the progress of my car and it was ready a week earlier than it was supposed to be. The results were fantastic.

I m not sure where to start. I bought a beautiful 2020 Ford truck from Modern Ford a month and a half ago. Shortly after my wife was rear ended with my kids in the vehicle. Thankfully no one was hurt. My vehicle was taken to Modern Collision. This vehicle only has 600 miles on it. My insurance company has given me the hardest time about the repairs. Wanting to piece meal the repairs. Thankfully Jeff and Brian have stuck up for my vehicle all the way insisting it be back to brand new. The stress level trying to juggle this with a daily work schedule a wife and and children has been overwhelming. Then to find out my insurance company might I say it s Progressive wanted me to pay money out of pocket above my deductible. Let me just say Brian and Modern Collision are taking care of me. Thank you Brian and Jeff for all your hard work.
