Assad is a good man, and he knows what he s doing!! He s just trying to get the attention he deserves.. but he is a very good mechanic who has been working hard for his life to improve his skills. Go see Assad!!

We were in a bad situation from out of town, ABS light on and ESP. Very fortunate to get to Assad's safely. Jon helped us first thing and corrected the problem within an hour. Also with phone calls after. If there is a rating of over "5" I would make it a "10"! Highly suggest to have your vehicle services at Assad's! Rick

I was able to get an inspection, a full service, a tire change and they fixed my loose wheel that was making weird sounds. All in a days work! Honest mechanics and generous prices! Definitely will recommend to all my friends with import vehicles

We were traveling from SC up to Boone for a long weekend and began having trouble with the car not running right was turning off cruise control and ESP light kept coming on so we thought bad sensor. Called Assad and he said if we could make it to Boone he would look at car for us. It continued to drive terrible so husband pulled over again and looked at tires and found the right rear was bulging from a separated belt. Realized this is what was causing issue. Called around in Marion NC and know one had a tire to fit car :(. Called Assad back and he located us 4 new Toyo tires that he would have next day and wouldn t put on. Price was fair. Very knowledgeable people. Very kind and helpful! Would highly recommend them if In Boone NC! Thrilled to have found them!Service: Tires

I have been taking my cars to Assad s for 30 years and his work has always been excellent, timely and reasonable. I have also bought four used cars for me and a couple for my daughters from Assad and all of them have been great with no significant problems. At the moment 2 of our 9 vehicles were purchased from Assad's Automotive and we are very pleased. For years my husband and I have had all our service work and purchased all our tires from him. He and his sons are wonderful to deal with. Their work on our vehicles has always been performed with utmost care and responsibility. We trust them and they do not abuse our trust. I think it's a rarity to find auto mechanics who really know what they're doing and perform the task like it were for their own family. We appreciate them, their ethics, their honesty and their knowledge. We will definitely continue to support their business.

We drove up near Boone from Ft. Lauderdale over the Thanksgiving week, we had a few issues with our Land Rover and Assad helped us out! Awesome service at fair prices, and a wiz with european cars.

The alternator belt broke on my BMW X5 while driving to Boone on a Sunday afternoon. I immediately pulled into a parking lot and found Assad online. I was able to drive to his shop, parked and left a message on his voicemail what was going on with the vehicle. I spoke to Assad Monday morning. He confirmed that it needed a belt. He ordered the parts and had it ready the next day and the total was less than the original quote. I decided to go ahead and replace the worn tires. He recommended a high quality tire at a price less than I was expecting so I approved replacing the tires. All said and done, Assad and son, John, were professional, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend them for repairs on any brand of import.Services: Tires, Engine repair

We have been bringing our cars here for years ( Mercedes and Audi). Assad and his family always do a great job for a good price. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Out of state visitors in the area when we heard a very loud noise from our wheels. Not wanting to drive seven hours home without knowing why the sound, we stopped in Assad s without an appointment. They were very quick to listen to our concerns, went for a ride with us in our car, immediately put the car up and checked out every possible scenario. They were super helpful and very fair. The noise stopped and we were on our way! Thank you for your amazing and friendly service! You never know how that will go when you are from out-of-State!

Great owner, very nice and polite, but came to him multiple times for the same problem, never received a solution and was charged for the service. Took my car to another place and the problem was identified and fixed in one visit.

I wish every place treated you as honestly and well as Assad's. It was one of the best auto repair experiences that I have. We had never worked with Assad, but when our Volo S40's locked steering wheel sensor malfunctioned and we could not start the car, we had it towed here. Mr. Assad was so helpful and saved us a bundle! Highly recommend and will use again when necessary.

They discovered a mouse nest on the fan motor & replaced the burned out motor. Cost half of what it would cost at Mercedes dealer. Later checked electronics & replaced battery. Visiting from Durham when my BMW started misfiring. Called first thing on a Monday morning and was told to come on down. So friendly and helpful, the problem was diagnosed and repaired in an hour. Seemed very knowledgeable. The price was quite reasonable and overall a real vacation saver. Thanks be to Assad s!

There arent many places like this one anymore. Assad will quote you the work needed and when you pick up your car thats exactly what the charge is. Most places these days always find more wrong and the charges are more expensive. Great work done right.

**2022 update below**New to town and so pleased to have found Asaad's service shop right in town. My 2012 528i was new to me vehicle but prior owner knew of a couple of items recommended by the dealership to have done. Asaad confirmed nothing else was needed after inspection - his rates were VERY reasonable, work completed on time. Professional, polite, didn't push anything unnecessary and seems the type to advise when something isn't in his wheelhouse of expertise - and not going to sell you service items not needed.Anyways- such a pleasure to meet and work with him (hope I don't have to visit often, but when I do, I know I'm taken care of!)--------Summer 2022 - Still a big fan of Asaad's shop, took my son's 4Runner in for a general look over and again, very impressed with Asaad's conservative nature and reasonable rates for parts and labor.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I like to use the same mechanic for my cars and finding Assad's has been great for me. He's alway takes such good care of my import and lets me know what needs to be done. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants their car properly cared for.

We were on a family vacation this past week in Boone NC . Our late model BMW 528i was not enjoying the cold weather and started leaking oil. Fearing a break down by the side of the road I decided to bring the car to Assad s Auto Repair. The owner of the shop did a great job identifying the issue and offering me some very honest advice. The car has an issue , but it can be fixed when the car returns to Tampa.

I'd trust Assad's Automotive for any repairs to my vehicle, They are honest and ethical and will refer customers to other repair shops if the needed repairs are not within their expertise. To the guy who posted a negative evaluation about a pre-sale inspection, I've purchased a vehicle from Assad's and the vehicle performed very, very well! In fact, I'm planning on making another purchase from these folks.Robert McKethan

I have bought five used cars from Assad s import autos over the past 20 or so years - 2 Nissan Xterra, two Volvo wagons, and a Subaru Impreza sedan and all of them have been excellent, trouble free vehicles. Good and reliable service.

I love this place. My son is a student at APP and had to have work done on his car twice. In both instances, they were very friendly and extremely reasonable. I would not hesitate to return.

STAY AWAY!!!!! This dealer refuses to allow you to take a vehicle to get it inspected prior to Purchase. When confronted on the issue of a pre-purchase inspection they became belligerent and down right rude.Shady business going on there. They must have something to hide not wanting there vehicles inspected. Take your business to an honest sales lot that's not afraid to have their vehicles inspected by a qualified mechanic.
