Walked in today to get my breaks looked at/fixed. Everyone was so kind, great to talk to, and gave me updates on what's going on, even showed me what I would need in the future (I know very little about cars) highly recommend going here for anything you need. Thank you guys

One of my tires had a nail close to the inner side wall. Many shops told me it would not be repairable and that I should replace all four tires since it is an all-wheel-drive vehicle. I brought it in here based on all the good reviews and was very pleased with my experience! The mechanic was able to take me right away (I just showed up...tried calling a few times but no one answered), patched it up, and charged me a very fair $20. It's been 10 days since this, and the patch seems to be holding up just fine. Thank you for the good service and saving me a ton of money!

Instead of getting ahold of anyone when I called the listed number when I was trying to see if they had the size tires I need in stock, I was answered by an incredibly rude automated computer answering machine that just wasted my time.I won't go somewhere that comes across that unprofessional on the phone.

Good at tires, but that's it. I like Ronnie in the garage for that, but the guy in the office is awful, tells sexist jokes and goes on political rants even when you tell him you're not interested in hearing it. Work wise, I asked them to diagnose and work on my brakes, they changed the pads without checking or changing the old rotors. Charged me $200 and a month later I had to put new rotors and new pads on at another shop. The guy made every excuse in the book to avoid taking responsibility for their sub-standard work, just says "that's business."

The gentleman there was eating lunch. When I walked in he got up and asked what I needed. Told him I was traveling and the tire place up the road by interstate could not plug my tire till the next day. He plugged and changed out the tire right away. He could have finished his lunch, but he got my wife, baby and I back on the road again. Wish I lived close to him would do all my business there.

This is one of AVL s hidden gems! Despite the name, Tire & Wheel they are a full mechanic shop and can fix most anything. With decades of experience, they know everything about cars and they will fix it at a fraction of the cost of other shops and dealerships. I am telling all my friends about this place and they will be my go-to going forward for all my vehicle repairs and maintenance.

I was visiting Asheville from out of town, and on my way there my brakes really started to grind. I took a chance and tried A&B and it worked out so well! The manager and mechanic were both very friendly and went the extra mile to get my car repaired in a timely manner. On top of that they charged me a very reasonable price to replace my brakes and suggested other work I should have done at my local mechanic once I return home, but assured me I would be fine to get home - and I was. I was so thankful to have taken a chance on A&B as they made a very stressful situation during vacation much better!

I had a tire blow out on I-40 in Asheville. Tim the tow truck driver from Rice s Towing and Recovery took me here. They managed to fit me in. I was 2 hours into an 8 hour drive. Ronnie was super polite and engaged my son who has autism. They fitted me with 4 new tires at a good price. I was there for a total of 1.5 hours and with an autistic child, this was excellent!! Great friendly staff, affordable tires too! Ronnie even called me the next day to check and make sure we got to our destination safely!! Super pleased with the entire experience!! Thank you to all of you again!! You took an unpleasant experience and made it so much better!

Great shop. Fast, reasonable prices, very knowledgeable mechanics. We've been taking all our cars there for about 2 years now. They do great on air conditioning work, flat tires, almost anything. I was there today had a nail in my tire I was in and out in 10 minutes.

I ve frequented MANY different mechanics over the years in Asheville and been a regular at every one, but NONE compare to A&B tire. Ronnie and Skip are great mechanics, great at diagnosing problems, honest, and will do everything they can to get your car back to you in ship-shape and a timely manner. Once, he wasn t able to return my car in the time I needed it for work (due to a busy weekend at the shop) and he offered to pay for a taxi to take me to work! True customer service and just plain ole southern gentleman. Always pleased with my repairs and I ve never had to bring my car in twice for the same problem.

Had the best experience here. Ronnie and his crew are amazing, good hearted people! Customer service was great & I enjoyed hanging out with everyone in the lobby waiting for my car to be done!Not only did I get a great deal on new tires I found a new place I can trust for anything i may need in the future. Rolled into Asheville NC didnt know we had a busted flywheel on our minivan. Blew out a rear tire went to A&B for a used tire and to change an O2 censor that the check engine lite said was the problem. Turned out it was a major part flywheel,thanks to Rob and the mechanic we found out before we continued on our way to Florida. They had the job done on time, Rob stayed in contact with us to let us know how things were going. These guys are great. Very reasonable hourly rates and great price on good used tires.To Rob and the team we thank you so much. She drove like a dream the entire 12hr drive.Thanks for taking care of my baby lolFrom this Canadian to all of you....THANK YOU SO MUCH.Susan and Tim

I arrived in Asheville after a 5 hour drive and noticed my car was shimmying and pulling.My friends immediately noticed it too. We d come to Asheville for a friend s weekend and minewas the only car. So, after searching for a tire store, I saw the reviews for Ronnie s place andhe did not disappoint. He told me to come in first thing Sat.morning and I left 90 minuteslater with 4 new tires at a super reasonable price! The rest of the weekend was even betterbecause we didn t have to worry. Thanks Ronnie! I highly recommend your business andgreat customer service.

Quick and fast work seemed like a great place but pricey though $20 for a a tire plug is insane especially since it's $5 for a tire plug in Tennessee but hey what do I know

Ronnie always takes great care of my vehicles.The location is great and the prices are competitive.I've been taking my vehicles, which include a jeep Wrangler, a Buick LeSabre and my wife's Toyota Corolla to Ronnie and the gange for over half a decade.Tell them "JT from Moe's" sent ya!

A & B Tire is an excellent tire shop. Ronnie the technician offered great customer service, very down to earth , he was fast and his boss provide quality tires for discounted prices. I recommend this shop with a 5star approval.

Super quick and accommodating. Ronnie didn't have the tire I needed, and after expressing I'd have to go with the readily available option in town he got back to me in no time to let me know they got my tire and at a great price. Thanks for the tip top service!

We had a screw in the tire and patched it but wanted to have it checked before we head into the mountains for the day. Ronnie and his guys were very nice fellas and took a look without even a charge when they found it in good repair. I highly recommend this place.

Due to a family medical situation, we were visiting from out of town and our car was not running good. The shop was about to close and Ronnie took the car in and replaced the plugs, coil and changed the oil for us at a great price. Highly recommended this shop!!

Anytime something goes wrong with my car, I immediately call Ronnie. He honestly tries his best to give you the best deal. All his staff as are the same way. I highly recommend there services.

Our car blows a plug minutes from doctor's office. Advance Store guy says check-out A&B down the street. They quickly confirmed diagnosis. Asked about auto rental, owner said, "I'll drive you there." He did. Expect to hear the good/bad news soon.

I want to AB TireTo have a tire that I had purchased at another location put on my rim. Which I have been paying $10-$12 depending on tire size at this store for a couple of years now I ve been using their service at 5 o clock the date of this of this event the owner I asked how much it was the owner and for me it was $35 and he said that there was a hole in my tire and had to be plug which I inspected my tire I asked the tenant to look at the tire prior to putting it on and there was no problems so this man has charged me 30 tried to charge me $35 no when I couldn t get it put on anywhere else at 5 o clock well I assume to take my tire off and I would no longer be doing business with them

These are the nicest people l have ever met. It was Friday. I'm was three hours from home and 5 hours from my destination. They fixed stayed after hours and fixed my car. Trustworthy. Honestly. Profrssional.

Do not let the faded sign deter you. I find Ronnie the proprietor of this tire and auto service store funny and charming. I find his prices appealing and his team personable. An Asheville gem.

Thanks Ronnie. Honest business man that never met a stranger. Took care of my tire needs on a Saturday morning at a great competitive price. Will be using for any tire/mechanic needs.
