***BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!!!!!***They did a rushed oil change a couple days ago. I smelled oil the next couple days, thought it was just some drips burning off...took it back to them to double check the levels. Turns out they had forgotten to put my oil cap back on!! Oil had sprayed all over the engine bay (of my 2023 Mazda, that had looked BRAND NEW all year I've driven it). I was SHOCKED and very UPSET to see that they had failed something so very basic. All they wanted to do was wipe it down and give me a coupon for next time. I finally got customer service to issue me a refund, but I'm still so unhappy with how it looks under the hood. If I hadn't caught it in time my engine could've blown!! Then they would be looking at a LAWSUIT!!!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

I went in for a routine synthetic oil change which was 116$ left & within 10 minutes smelled something burning my oil can popped up on my dashboard showing low oil pressure . Got out to check the dip stick and there was no oil on it. Could ve totally locked up my engine. Had to get a tow home, a ride for me and my 2 kids & the next morning woke up to a huge oil spill in my garage had to buy 2 quarts of oil to get me back to this location. When arriving they stated that they actually didn t put the cap back on correctly so whatever oil was placed in came out. Refilled my oil & the manager Chris refused to reimburse me. I ve been going to valvoline for as long as I can remember.. went through hell for 2 days because of a careless mistake that wasn t that serious to them. Please be more cautious & make sure they put your caps and all back on because clearly they don t.

I have used Valvoline service centers for at least 5 years now (Enka/Candler & Airport Rd locations) and never had an issue. I saw the recent reviews for this location but decided to give them a chance this morning anyway. I needed a full synthetic oil change and annual inspection. I expressed my concerns to my mechanic, Chris, about the recent reviews, and he assured me he would make sure everything would be done correctly. He even mentioned my concerns to the manager, Doug. Doug came in the waiting area and introduced himself and told me he was just transferred to this location (from Merriman), and he has handled the situation with the poor service. Both were super nice, and Doug even opened my hood to show me that all the caps were on and secure and answered any questions I had. I did not feel rushed, and both Chris and Doug were super nice. So, for those of you who hesitate due to recent reviews with poor service, please give this location a chance. I'm glad I did.

I went there and got a oil change and on my way home my oil can light came in and my car wouldn t go over like 30 mph and was acting weird and so I stopped and I had no oil in my car. I came so close to blowing my motor. The next day after I had to go buy more oil and put in it to make it there I went back and they had not put the plug back on right doing my oil change and so all the oil drained right out. They did put oil in and made sure the plug was on this time but we re so rude and would t give me no refund or nothing at all. Do not go here. They also had so many different people working on the same thing they couldn t keep up with what they were having to do !!!! Very very bad place

The Valvoline on airport road is an amazing crew. Great job always and it is the only place I will come for my car care. So happy when I leave here. Price is good too!!!

I got an inspection and an oil change here recently and the people didn't bother to top off other fluids or let me know which were low so I could have myself. They didn't even adjust my tire pressure either. The places I normally frequent for oil changes will do all this as a common courtesy in addition to washing my windshield so I figured this was standard practice. But no, Valvoline seems to be too cheap and in a rush to bother doing this. They didn't even confirm they were in fact draining my old oil and replacing it with new oil. I had to ask the associate a few times to be sure they would. In general, the training here simply sucks. I had a bad experience with them 7 years ago at the Merrimon location and thought, I'll try another. Never again. They value quantity over providing quality service.Service: Oil change

BEWARE!!!! The lady working there not only shorted my parking light trying to change it, she also slammed my hood down SO hard that it literally broke my hood spring, and now I can barely open my hood. Worst valvoline experience I ve ever had, by far. And now an $80 oil change is going to cost me $20 more plus my time to fix my spring

Everything seemed like great service at first. Oil change got done and had nothing wrong with it, people were polite. But then I checked under my hood after about two months to put oil in my car again (i drive frequent miles for my job) and they had taken a part out of my vehicle! The air filter housing was completely missing and the whole arm that held it in place was no longer bolted in. When I tried to talk to them about it, they simply brushed it off and acted dismissive and trying to get us to go away and didn t give any offer of a solution, simply said, yup, you re not supposed to take that part off . I have called and called and called customer service and they don t seem to be in any rush to fix the mistake either. I got my most recent oil change here, so, I went back today for a safety inspection. I was in and out in 15 minutes. The guys all seem to be nice and are polite!

I was absolutely impressed by the guys that did my oil change this past Friday. Everyone was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Completely different crew from last time. I had to get out of my car last time and wait outside (which was fine with me) but the employees kept going behind the dumpster to smoke pot (another customer and I could smell it ..it was very obvious .but the crew that were there this past Friday were amazing and I will definitely be back!!!Service: Oil change

Quick, efficient and friendly. Got an oil change and NC inspection in under 25 minutes. Since they were so new everything was by the book. A little pricey, but they took a mailed coupon from me to get that price down. Location is odd (too close to a sketchy Walmart for my comfort), but if they keep the service levels up it'll do well. Repeated in 2023 and service levels were still very good.

Had oil changed here two days ago. Car started smoking horribly bad from tailpipe and smelled like it was burning after having it changed. Drove to a different location I suspected that the oil was overfilled. After the Merrimon location looked at it they said it was 'way overfilled'. They drained it and put in the proper amount of oil. If I could leave 0 stars I would. You guys had one job... I'm really hoping my car isn't damaged from driving it like that. I don't recommend at all.

I called in the morning to check if they offered AC system refilling, which they did. The gent on the phone asked if it was working but just not icy cold; yes, this is the case with my vehicle. Drove the the shop, asked the first tech about an AC refill and waited 5 mins to get on the first open bay. No worries there. Once in, I was told that they wouldn't recommend it as it's likely leaking. I explained that I had just replaced a faulty AC pressure switch and needed it charging. Without saying "they refuse" to do it, they refused to do it. It wasn't just the lady's condescending tone that irked me with this; why not explain that on the phone before I drive 40 minutes, in the heat? Poor communication. I've used this place before and they were great but today was likely the last.

If I could leave a zero I would. Would not go there for washer fluid. Poorly trained or just don't care can't say which one. I took my truck in to have the oil changed and first thing they wanted to put air in my tire when I plainly had green caps which means they are filled with nitrogen had to stop him there. After the miles was up I went to change the oil myself and they had tighten the plug way to tight along with the oil filter. I have changed the oil in my truck the whole time since I bought it except mybe 3 times. Never have I had such a hard time removing them.

If I could go lower than one star I would. Management at this location are some of the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. A week ago, we took a car to have a simple tire rotation before a long drive. Under clays leadership they allowed an untrained individual to perform this task. After rotating the tires, he did not torque the lug nuts back on. If you know anything about vehicles, you know this may be the simplest thing to do. Shortly after leaving, the vehicle started making a funny noise as the tire rotated. We went then went back to valvoline to have this noise checked out, and without even looking they told us everything was fine. Well everything was not fine. Toward the end of our 5 hour drive, the front passenger side wheel came completely off, and rolled across the road. Luckily, no one was injured but everyone involved was emotionally shook up. After having the car towed and looked at by a legitimate mechanic shop, the damages were going to cost over $1,000. I spent the week talking to clay about how we could come to a cordial agreement on how to handle this, as it was valvoline s fault. Clay supposedly spoke to serval people above him about the situation. He even told me that a valvoline employee went by the mechanic shop to check out the car, but when I asked the mechanic about this visit, he said no one had been by. Clay then calls me after this imaginary visit and says after reviewing the damages, and the camera footage, which he would not let us come see, he informed me that the claim to pay for damages had been denied and would not be revisited. I expressed my confusion about this, and he hung up on me without any response. If you care about your vehicle, but most importantly the individuals in your vehicle, AVOID VALVOLINE.

Been going to this location for a while now to do my oil changes. Always timely and done well. Staff are very friendly and do a good job of listening to you and seeing what they can do to fix any issue you are having. Chris and Jeremy were phenomenal! Went in to replace a headlight and they discovered a long overdue battery needing replacement (among other minor issues). Everything fixed at an extremely reasonable price. Professional, friendly, and top notch teamwork. These guys are as good as they come!

This is a newer Valvoline Instant Oil Change location and initially, I was concerned that training/experience might be lacking. I'm happy to say that was NOT the case.The team at this location are AMAZING. I was in and out / service complete within 15-20 minutes. I was greeted as soon as I pulled up and engaged by the staff in a professional/friendly manner the entirety of the service visit.I would recommend them to any/all who truly care about their vehicle and/or have hectic schedules to manage. We will definitely be using them as our primary location.Service: Oil change

Got an oil change here yesterday. The girl that guided me in the bay3 was cool, but she disappeared back in the office, and I did not see her after. They checked my lights/blinkers, which was cool, but that's when 3 guys took over who issued, not just the worse oil change ever, but the worse customer service, and only constant response to me "I don't know"... I was in the system, so there was no prelude. Guy 1 I told what oil to use, and told him I started hearing a "rattle" when I would cold start the car, "we'll check it out". Guy 2, we'll call him "cigarette guy", smoked the entire time he performed the change, only removing the cig to exhale plumes of smoke. The "oil change" took 5 minutes. Guy 3 rang me up. I asked him about the rattle, he said "it's just the oil going into the filter", no I said, the rattle at cold start, "I don't know", and I continued to get "I don't know". He provided me no credit card receipt for the $85.59, and NO paperwork whatsoever. I asked if my oil level was low prior, "I don't know". When I finally did get an answer from cigarette guy, he said "there was no evacuation". They checked no other fluid levels, filters, or anything. Nothing was done but adding oil. In the end I received NO paperwork, no explanation, only a "God bless" from cigarette guy. My car continues to rattle, now even while idling. I will take it into a reputable shop today to see what other damages the 3 stooges did. I'm not happy...

I had a really good experience after a bad one, at this locaci�n, I came previously and they provided a oil change and a radiator flush, the service was quick and painless, however, 3 day later my wife was driving the car in the I-26 when suddenly the skip plate partially fell off, she was dragging the metal part in the highway, luckily a Toyota dealership was at the nearest exit and they were able to remove the hanging part. I took the car to this location where the new manager, Kade, took my information and pictures of the missing parts in the car, she ordered the parts, Kade called me to let me know that the part had arrived and they were ready to install it. Today I did my oil change, Kade gave me a 15% off on my today's bill and now I am writing this review while they are installing the missing part. I do appreciate that they TOOK OWNERSHIP and were willing to fix the situation. Definitely I recomnend Valvoline at the Airport rd. Kade has been very professional dealing with this situation. Thank you.

Got oil change 2 months ago. Low oil light came in. Wife went by to have them check it. We had driven 6000 miles. Before letting us know it was over mileage, they topped it off and charged $18 for 2 quarts. If they had let her know of charges first, we would have just gone to wal mart and bought the oil. So much for customer service. Back to snappy lube down the road.Service: Oil change

I was running errands and last minute decided to get an oil change. I am glad I chose this place. The guys there were very, very friendly and professional. Got to the shop at 1:05pm on Thursday December 1st for oil change and tire rotation and at 1:58 I drove out . Probably the slowest oil change and tire rotation. I think I have ever had in my life. 4 guys working the top but most of the time two or three have there phones out on them instead of working.
